90s NEW YORKSO FUCKING INDOES THIS MEAN MARTIN IS STILL A TV SHOW

And Living Single
And The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
And Saved By the Bell
And Family Matters

So many great shows, but don't even get me started on the music.
You have my interest, slice of life RP's are rare here so it's nice to see another that looks like it could be fun. Also I probably already have some ideas for what I want to play as. ^^
Waiting on Pixel before I post again, also I keep drawing fanart for this RP but I don't think they're good enough to post T-T, this is what I get for not practicing like I used to,
May I reserve the pretty one please?

Lexion instinctively ducked when he heard the ring of the rifle's shot out of no where, definitely not a sound he was accustomed to, but it was enough to realize that mayhem was most certainly coming when the forest seen from the balcony slowly darkened around the school grounds. It produced a slight notch in his insides that much of what was inhabiting the place was demons, he couldn't remember ever seeing so many at once, with the rain, and he imagined what type of horrors might have befallen the city if the Academy was now being affected. He looked to Max, but could already see he was hatching up a plan that would probably diverge from what he suggested considering the situation. Only giving a nod to Max's next command he followed in stead, hoping the idea was enough to keep the school and them safe if they needed to defend it. He was made aware just how far these evil spirits had made into the building when Max was nearly throttled by one. "Damn! Are you o-" he was abruptly cut off when Max got back on his feet and had wrestled the offending demon into submission, quite obviously their plan had been compromised. Lowly demons they might have been, but Lexion still found it useful to have his sword swinging from corner to corner, whenever the fiends were careless enough to run into the sharp spines of his blade and not into Max's punches. He found Max's instructions simple, restrained, and he could see that his partner was not one to hold back what he needed to say, and at the same time it was easy to fight alongside him. There was a need to incite the chain on his blade,as demons were already being flung about by simply swinging, it was too malicious for a tight space like this to handle, but it gave him an idea.

While the spines continued to tear into demon flesh, he made it imperative to get closer to Max without the other losing his focus on the endless amount of demons that seemed to just crawl over the balconies at a moment's notice, and there was no doubt in his mind that they could be overtaken. "Max! This can go a little quicker if we use the chainsaw, these lesser demons stand no chance, we can just slice right through them if we want to make it to the roof in time! Fighting them all isn't going to do it." He launched a large swing as one the creatures got close enough to actually pull on his jacket, the landed hard enough to slice the thing in half, and with another large swing, he was able to clear out a couple more before they were replaced. "It doesn't look like they plan on easing up either!..."

She gave her own little huff of annoyance when Darius mentioned the fish sticks, she wanted him to take her observation a little more seriously, but realized that not everyone could have fine-tuned senses. That hissing sound that annoyed her ears so greatly turned into full splatter, as the window close to the pair had little demons dancing near, most likely trying to find their way into the hallway, her pupils sharpened over this most peculiar detail. Apparently, just when they happened to be guarding the school, when it seemed like literally nothing could happen on a day like this, all hell was breaking loose, and suddenly, Niorin's morning took a sudden turn for the better.

"I think--checking outside is probably a good idea....Right, let's check it out. We'll go that-a-way." "

She masked the slight excitement she felt at this discovery with a bit of urgency in her voice. "Yeah I agree, let's go" following after Darius, she knew there wasn't much to do but be vigilant, and hope that the demons out there weren't more than she could handle, though her hands were already developing a need to use her bow, and fire some arrows into some ugly ass demons when the need came around. She saw Darius prepare his own sword, and suddenly didn't feel like she was getting ahead of herself by bringing her bow out as well.

"...Hey, do you know those two out in the courtyard?"

Looking at the other pair in the courtyard she couldn't fathom how someone in a wheelchair thought it was a good idea to become a Demon Hunter, but at this point she was under the belief that you could find anything at the Academy. Well, she had to be good at something right? Then her partner, who she could remember as not exactly being the nicest of students, despite that Angelic appearance he was so well known for. Either way, for them to be under attack, it was a foreboding sign for what was to come from the outside. She paused for a moment before answering him. "Hardly, but I figure if they've been alive for this long, then it'd be a good idea to keep ourselves that way too, maybe join up with them to increase our chances. We should head down there." She ran a little faster, pulling one of her arrows of her Quiver and lining it up against the nock as they made it closer and closer to the nearest exit. She was prepared to let one of them fire should the exit open. The first one being a shot that would set off a small bomb, affect the area, and probably be enough for Darius to swing his sword freely at the encroaching demons, but honestly she was down with whatever Darius planned as long as it was reasonable. "I shoot you swing right? In case we get ambushed or something."

It's no problem, HOAL. I'm sure everyone understands, and I know I do.Do you mind if I use your faculty characters? Reuben especially?

Yeah, sure I don't have a problem with that at all.
If you guys feel it's best for Imperfectionist to take over and be the GM of this RP, then I'm fine with that, right now, with school, and work on my mind, I'm not always able to get online at times, and sometimes I'm so busy then when I finally get home I need to rest or it's too late for me to do anything. That said, I'm confident that Imperfectionist will be able to take over this, and make sure that your efforts aren't wasted. I apologize for not informing any of you earlier than I could.

"Niorin? Never heard of you,"

Niorin scratched one of her ears as she heard that, but she also couldn't blame Darius, it wasn't every students job to remember every other student that just happened to waltz by them in the hallways, or attend one of the several classes they shared. For her a reaction like that was expected, but she felt a bit of it came from her probably brash introduction, which she of course didn't even give much of a thought to how she came off to Darius. "Ah...That's too bad I guess." She uttered as she followed suit after him once he began patrolling the hallways like he was before. "I'm Darius. We've got this wing of the school. Should be pretty simple, and we don't even need to get wet. Which is good; you don't seem like the type to enjoy running around in the rain, eh?"

"Well you guessed right, I'm not exactly a fan of unexpected rain showers."

Walking behind him she took a few meandering looks around the hallways, not that she thought that there was actually something worth having to patrol over, but the sound of the rain was actually making her slightly uneasy, as well as a smell that most definitely wasn't a rain scent. It was perhaps harder for her to articulate what she was sensing to someone whose own sensitivity to the elements probably weren't exactly as accurate as hers, as this scent continued to fill her nostrils, something she would think of as slightly familiar, but at the same time foreign. As she strolled closer to one of the several windows in the hallway, a hissing sound buzzed on her now twitching ears, the muscles of her ears turned instinctively towards that window, as she stopped in her steps, taking a full sniff of the air around them. "Please tell that me you smell that?" for her the smell was slightly alluring, but at the same time something she could easily ignore for the time being. She wondered if Darius could sense something wrong beyond these hallways, as the patter of rain transformed into distinct sizzling sounds that hit the roof, the windows, and the exterior walls of the Academy, but beyond this the two probably wouldn't have been able to figure out just what it was unless they took a detour from where they currently were.

"I think we should check outside I'm hearing some strange things, I don't know if you do as well, but I figure it's worth a peak."

Lexion was failing to come up with the words to describe Max, but he probably would have went with dry, stern, the type of fellow you'd find at the back of a bar, musing to himself, Lex had some kind of fanatical delusion as to which he could place Max right under, but the thought whisked away as quickly as the rain was brought back to mind. Now that he thought about it, he could see why they were matched up, but at the same time Max didn't seem wildly enthralled with the idea, and Lex wasn't sure just how he felt either. Max already seemed capable, so there was enough of that to go off on. Once he looked back at the rain outside, he found a certain scent filling his nostrils, it reminded him of the smooth cigarettes his mother would smoke occasionally, and at the same time, it had the essence of a lesser demon. It also made him want to sneeze, but he held in the need as Max posed a question towards him.

"So...What do you do?"

Before he could answer he took a step backwards and sneezed, the scent aggravating his senses, but making his own inner demon laugh with delight. "Ugh..that smell... Lexion went about rubbing under his nose, when he realized that Max sensed the very same thing. "M-me? Well I- he was cut off by the hissing sounds that suddenly filled the room as a black mass formed right in front of the pair, he pushed back the need to sneeze again as Max prepared himself for a battle, the mass seemed small, and inconsequential, but if it was coming from the rain there was probably no telling just how many of those things were around and how many could form right in front of them. There wasn't any doubt in his mind that they could handle it, but just how many would come looking for the two of them, he also wondered if strange occurrences were happening like this around campus, and just how given that the Academy was relatively safe against hostile demons. He heard Max's next command, and was already reaching for the sword on his back. Swinging it around as soon as Max's foot squashed the small mass of demonic energy under his foot. "At least he's quick." Lex thought to himself as he walked closer to the balcony with the sword hanging on his shoulder.

He turned to Max for the moment. "You think we should go down there and see if there are anymore?" the balcony didn't seem too high to jump off of, and if anything would probably cause a minimal amount of damage if either of them were careless, and as far as Lex could tell they could both handle themselves, but this was their post, so maybe it was best they stay here and keep the miniature demons from gaining entrance into the Academy. He would wait on whatever Max would decide, as the rain seemed to grow swarthy with demonic taint abound.
