Hello there. I just joined about an hour ago, but I've been lurking since about a day before now, and this RP has caught my attention. I even have a character idea already, but I must ask, is there any sort of limits on what species our characters can be? I like RPing as non-human characters, you understand.

So far, no limit has been placed and the OP has said that they value originality. However, this is probably something that he/she handles on a case-to-case basis, so what sort of race are you looking to create? (Also, where do you normally RP?)

Oh hey. Well, I was thinking of making a reptilian sort of fellow; sounds a bit cliché, I know, but I do hope to put an unusual spin on the character. Though I'm more concerned about some GMs being averse to anthropomorphic characters for some reason (that being said, I noticed one of the other characters is a Ratman, so maybe I'm worried about nothing). Also, I don't really have a go-to place for RPing; before now, I've RPed on dA chat and on FF.net forums, but stimulating activity in both those areas has been rather low lately, hence my arrival here. Why do you ask?

So I found the introductions forum, and so I posted here. I am the individual known as H.H. Shetland, or H.H., Shetland, Double-H, The Islands Between Scotland and Norway, or any other nickname you can think of. I used to be quite active on FanFiction.net (and still can be when I can summon the attention span and/or the willpower), where I discovered that I have the awful habit of writing up small armies of characters for assorted intellectual properties. I also discovered that I'm much better at RPing than I am at writing fan fictions; it's the time limit, gives me pressure, is what it does. I've had experience with many fairly random chat RPs, paragraph-based Star Wars RPs, and a particularly absorbing Mass Effect RP on F.F. Then I discovered this site, and I immediately thought I should join it; variety, activity and a good site layout. What more incentive could I need? Anyway, I must apologise for wasting your time just there, this is more bio material, hmm? In short, I joined, and now I'm here!
