So I managed to survive the semester with a third of my sanity left. To my partners: I'll try to respond to everyone in the next week or so!

If I'm ever online during the week, it means that I'm probably procrastinating with something that I shouldn't be procrastinating with.

Bio

Hello there! I'm HiddenBeauty13, HB13, Hibbie, Beauty, Hidden, or whatever nickname you choose to give me. I have been a member of RPG since 2012 (I believe, don't quote me on this. I could be wrong.)

I am a pretty diligent roleplayer but I am very dedicated to my school work and I do take time from RPG to focus on school, especially since I'm a college student. So please do not be alarmed if I'm MIA for a week (or a few weeks or a few months), I'll be back and ready to continue roleplaying with you!

For the first time since she arrived on Earth, Allura was blessed with peaceful dreams instead of the usual nightmares or meetings with her boss that watched from above. For once, she stayed fast asleep until the rays of the morning sun kissed her face, gently luring her from her dreaming state. When she first opened her eyes, the angel was slightly confused. She was in an unfamiliar house, yet she did not feel as if she was in any immediate danger. Glancing to her right, she noticed Akira sleeping away in a chair. Allura wondered if he had been uncomfortable but, from the relaxed look on his face, she figured that his night was as good as her own.

Suddenly, she heard humming in another room of the cozy little home and it was soon followed by the sound of someone cooking. Sure enough, Allura got a whiff of something delicious and felt her mouth water in hunger, even though it is not necessary for her to eat food to survive. When was the last time she smelled something so appetizing as that? With that in mind, she slowly began to get out of bed, which was no easy task since her fast healing wounds were still a bit sore from her treatment. Allura managed to get on her feet without waking Akira and soon began to shuffle out of the room as quietly as possible. Once she was out into the hallway, the angel followed the smell of cooking food until she found what she'd been looking for: the kitchen.

Inside, the elderly woman who treated her wounds the night before was busy cooking away on her iron cast stove. Pieces of meat were sizzling in its own grease in an iron skillet while a pot of something yummy boiled right beside it. Meanwhile, the woman was busy pulling out a tray of hand rolled biscuits. The sight was enough to make Allura drool on herself and she didn't notice that she was staring until the elderly woman cleared her throat. "Are you hungry, dear?" She asked in a motherly tone and the angel flushed slightly in embarrassment. "I...uh...yes..." She mumbled and shuffled over to the table but did not sit down immediately. "Do you need help with anything?" The angel inquired politely; she thought it was only right to offer her service to the woman who so kindly let her stay in her home.

"Oh no, darling, I've got it. You just go on and take a seat there. I'll go on a fix your plate." Allura looked at the woman and was about to protest but soon realized that she was a stubborn one; so she sat down at the table, careful not to hit her thighs in the process. "How does your legs feel?" The elderly woman asked as she piled a spoonful of porridge, a fried strip of meat and two biscuits on a plate for Allura. "I'm still a bit sore, but I believe that I'm nearly fully healed now." The angel replied with a smile and eagerly accepted the plate from, but she didn't dig into her food. Not just yet. "May I ask who taught you how to treat wounds like that?" The old woman smiled a sad smile as she poured the both of them a cup of fresh milk.

"Ah, my husband did. You see, I met him when I was about your age actually. I could tell that he was like no other man that I'd ever met before as soon as I laid my eyes on him." A far away look crossed the woman's face and Allura could see that she still loved her husband as much as she did back then. "I would sneak out of my parents home to look at stars in the night sky with him or to simply enjoy the midnight air.

Yes, he was a mysterious one but I loved him regardless. A year or two passed and he proposed to me; of course my parents were a bit skeptical at first but I eventually convinced them to let me marry him." She added with a soft laugh before continuing on. "However, it was the night before out wedding that he revealed that he wasn't human at all. I was a bit confused at first--hell, I hadn't heard of angels and demons much before that day--but then he showed me his true form and I had no choice but to believe him. He thought I would hate him, that I would run away in disgust, but I didn't. I loved the man too much and we still got married as planned the next day.

We could never have children, but it was fine with just the two of us and I enjoyed learning all about the world that I didn't know existed...that is, until people began to notice how I aged but he didn't. It was about 10 years ago when they finally found out that my husband was a demon. They stormed our home one night and set it on fire. My husband helped me escape while holding back both the people and the fire but he was eventually overwhelmed and killed." A sad sigh escaped the woman's lips and she paused to take a sip of her milk before continuing. "I've been living here alone ever since then but it's not as bad as it sounds...especially since you and your little friend arrived her last night....speaking of which, there he is now." She said with a smile that still held a hint of sadness and gestured for Akira to come and take a seat.

"Come, sit. We have things to discuss this morning."
Name: Raine Starling

Age: 19

Personality: Raine is probably the most optimistic and up beat person that her two fellow crew mates will ever know. She seems to have a smiled on her face 24/7 and often likes to stir up mischief when she's in an unfamiliar town or city. Although it doesn't happen often, there are times when Raine gets upset, though it doesn't take much to cheer her up once more; however, she may have a bit of a temper when someone decides to insult her or her friends. Raine is also a very determine person and, if she wants to get something done, then she will take all action necessary to do so. Not only that, but she's often found saying motivational things to her fellow crew mates except David. Way to stay positive~

Crew Position: Navigation Expert/Doctor

Power/Skills: Raine obviously has the power to heal others, though she prefers to do it the old fashioned way unless it's a life threatening injury. Even so, she can only use that power to a certain limit. She is also rather good with handling dagger or any other sharp object that she can hold in her hand. She also has a great sense of directiona dn can read nearly every map and point out all the constellations in the night sky.

Bio: Will be included later
Aoi hadn't checked her phone since she left home, but she didn't need to. She could feel De'von's presence way before he actually approached her. Whenever he was near, the air around her would tingle; it was the same tingling she felt as a pair of hands covered her eyes. The tingling only seemed to increase as he gracefully removed her headphones and whispered in her ear, causing the girl to shiver involuntarily. Aoi just hoped that De'von hadn't noticed or at least act like it as she would probably be too embarrassed to explain the unexplainable.

A slight smile formed on her lips and she pretended to ponder his question before turning a page in her sketchbook. "Well, it's somebody with a brown hair and grey(?) eyes." She said knowingly as she quickly sketched a face with a mass of wet brown hair in its face. "Andddd I'm pretty sure that this 'somebody' is shirtless." Aoi's pencil moved with precision as she drew what she thought he looked like right now and even managed to add a few water droplets to the male's bare chest...or at least tried to anyway. "And you have on swimming trunks on, don't ya?" The girl asked with another smirk as she began to draw the figure's lower halve with a pair of heart shape covered swimming trunks. She then moved her pencil to the side and wrote 'De'von' in bold letters.

Aoi then turned her heard slightly towards him and smiled. "Is this you?" The girl wasn't exactly sure how her picture came out since she couldn't see the entire time while drawing it but she knew that she at least got the name right. As she waited for an answer, Aoi listened to the sounds of people playing on the beach and the sounds of the waves crashing gently against the sandy shore. In fact, she could imagine it so vividly in her mind she didn't need to look at it in order to draw it. I'll draw that once De'von allows me to see again...
Allura's concerned look soon turned to one of relief as Akira reassured her that there was nothing to worry about, though if the problem continued, she would extract the water herself, whether he wanted to or not. She then smiled when he mentioned that they could finally get a good night's rest. After spending the past two days staying up and keeping watch with only a few hours of sleep at a time, it was truly a blessing to be able to sleep without worrying about people trying to kill them in their sleep. With that thought in mind, the angel slowly adjusted herself so that she was lying down flat on her back with her head resting against the pillow that was provided for her. She then turned her head to look over to Akira as he began to speak once more.

"We have a few days at max. They're getting really agitated since I haven't been able to report anything back to them since I first arrived her back on Earth." She explained wit a soft and exhausted sigh. "And I can't necessarily lie because then I'll get into a ton of trouble...They can't find me as long as I don't activate my angelic form, but since did inside that cave, we have at least two days before they arrive." Allura added and yawned quietly before speaking once more. "I'm doing just fine; just a little sore and sleepy is all." The angel flashed him another reassuring smile. "But I definitely agree with your idea: we should spend the next day collecting necessary supplies then leave the following day. As of right now, though, I think I'll get to sleep while I still can." She mumbled sleepily and she could barely tell Akira 'good night' before closing her eyes then falling right to sleep.
-just read this- xD

This Love-Shinhwa
After all the intense pain that she endured, Allura was barely left with enough strength to move her arms. However, her mind was clear and she was well aware of what was going on around her. She winced slightly as Akira helped her up into a sitting position, and then into a hug, which was more comforting than she'd expected; the angel could even feel herself relaxing slightly beneath his arms. When was the last time that someone hugged me like this? She wondered silently to herself until she pulled out of the moment when she heard Akira's voice. The angel then nodded her head slightly in acknowledgement of what he'd said. "I know. It's strange, but she's a simple human being with no supernatural powers like our own." Before she can say anymore, the sound of footsteps reached Allura's ears and she resisted the urge to frown as Akira let her go, taking what warmth he had with him.

Allura then listened as the old woman and Akira exchanged a few words about their situation and how they even ended up together in the first place. Eventually, the conversation resulted in the demon getting the woman to leave them alone for the rest of the night, much to Allura's relief. She didn't have the energy to explain everything at the moment nor answer the woman's prying questions. The angel did look over to her companion with a concerned look on her face when he began to cough. She had no doubt that it was in relation to what she'd done to save him life hours before and silently made a mental note to ask him about it.

Once alone, she smiled reassuringly to Akira, who seemed to be a bit nervous about the entire situation. "It's okay. I don't think she's a threat to us or she wouldn't have brought us in and dressed my wounds...and I'll have some of that tea; it feels like I haven't had anything to drink in years." She murmured then greedily downed the tea that had been offered to her. After she was done, she placed the cup carefully beside her on the bed and looked over to Akira as he spoke. "Don't worry about me. It'll take more than a slight power over usage to take me out this world for good." Allura said with a confident smirk which soon turned into a look of concern. "Are you okay, though? Your body suffered extensive damage after the fight and it took quite a bit of holy water to heal you. Not only that, it seems to be more in your system. It shouldn't harm you in anyway but, if you want, I can extract it from your lungs myself." The angel offered with a slight smile. It would probably sap the rest of her energy but she was willing to do it.
Aoi, as expected, was cooped up inside her apartment, reading the latest book by one of her favorite authors with a small bag of gummy snacks sitting beside her. Aoi was unlike most females of her age: she preferred to stay inside and read books all day instead of hanging out at overcrowded beaches; and, most of all, she disliked bikinis with a passion. Still, she somehow managed to befriend someone who loved all the things that she disliked, but they got along quite well. Pushing that thought away, the girl picked up another gummy snack and was about to bite into it until she heard her phone ring. After a quick glance at the screen, she signed. It was De'von calling, probably trying to convince her to join him at the beach, even though she'd explained to him several times that she hated crowds, which was a fact that he already knew. If he couldn't convince her to leave her apartment, then nobody could. Still, Aoi felt bad for not at least trying to overcome her hatred of crowds for him, so she let her phone go to voicemail before sending him a text:

Sorry, was busy reading my new book...I'll be there soon..

It was poor excuse, one that he probably wouldn't believe but that didn't stop her from sending it anyway. After pressing send, Aoi popped the gummy into her mouth then put the rest of it in her shoulder bag before heading out of her apartment, not bothering to change her clothes. She wasn't going to a fashion show, after all. The walk to the beach was fairly uneventful for Aoi, especially since the sidewalk was mostly clear of people who were probably all crowding the beach. That seemed to be the case as she turned the corner and saw more people flocking towards the salty ocean waters and its sandy counterpart. Sighing a bit, Aoi watched as people guzzled down drinks and shook and ground their half naked bodies to music beneath the unforgiven sun; she found herself wondering how De'von could stand being here but eventually shrugged it off. That's simply how her friend was.

After looking around or a bit, Aoi eventually found an unoccupied table near the back of the beach and sat down under the umbrella, grateful for the shade it provided. She then took out her sketch book, pencil, and headphones and began sketching away while listening to some alternative music. With her headphones in and her attention on her sketchbook, it would be hard for an average person to notice the presence of another, but Aoi wasn't exactly your average human being...
lol whoops
Thanks ^^~
