So I managed to survive the semester with a third of my sanity left. To my partners: I'll try to respond to everyone in the next week or so!

If I'm ever online during the week, it means that I'm probably procrastinating with something that I shouldn't be procrastinating with.

Bio

Hello there! I'm HiddenBeauty13, HB13, Hibbie, Beauty, Hidden, or whatever nickname you choose to give me. I have been a member of RPG since 2012 (I believe, don't quote me on this. I could be wrong.)

I am a pretty diligent roleplayer but I am very dedicated to my school work and I do take time from RPG to focus on school, especially since I'm a college student. So please do not be alarmed if I'm MIA for a week (or a few weeks or a few months), I'll be back and ready to continue roleplaying with you!

"As much as I would love to have you pummel me until my face swells up, I'll have to pass....my food needs to settle first." Another smirk formed on her face and Raine turned her head so that she could watch Flake. He seemed to be just fine, despite coming into the cell bloody and sore the night before. Either he was a fast healer or he was great at hiding his pain...though Raine believed the later to be true. However, as she continued to watch him, Raine found herself wanting more and more to find out if he was truly okay though, instead of asking him directly, the assassin decided that she would take up on his previous offer.

Slowly, she used her foot to gently slide her cup of water closer to her so that she could reach down and pick it up. Raine then made quick work of draining the liquid from inside then pretended as though she was examining the cup itself before quickly chucking in Flake's direction. She purposely aimed at the area beside his head than directly at him and, when it came into contact with the wall with a loud smack, she smirked. "My food is done settling."
The bread was merely inches from her lips when the guard suddenly came down stairs, looking like hell. Hm, I guess they got wine while we had water. She thought with a slight smirk then turned her attention back to the bread, though she flinched slightly as the man began to yell at her, saying that he would teach her a lesson for stealing. They were in an enclosed space and his loud voice echoed painfully off the stone walls. "Technically, I was permanently borrowing it." The assassin commented slyly and made no effort to moved from her spot by the tray but the man's attention seemed to turn towards Flake as the supposedly sleeping male spoke. Raine didn't mind as he seemed to get the guy to go away somehow and it was only then that Flake finally addressed her directly.

"I was going to ask you the same thing." Raine replied with a smirk before tossing the bread to him, watching as it landed on the bed beside Flake. "You know, that guy saved your breakfast. Any longer and the bread would've been mine." Slowly, she stood up from the floor so she could retrieve her own bowl and spoon and place it back on the tray. The assassin then settled back down on her bed, sighing softly as she did so. "I was kinda hoping he would come in here so I could teach him a lesson myself but I don't think he would've have been able to find the key..." She hadn't had a good fight in over 24 hours and Raine was getting bored, to say the least, sitting in the cell, thinking about things she didn't want to think about.
After chewing thoroughly on her bread, Raine quietly reached over and grabbed a bowl before settling down on her bed once more. She then brought the bowl up to her nose and sniffed, wanting to see if she could at least guess what was in the brown colored substance. There's some pork in here...and maybe a few green vegetables, all held together by an interestingly thick paste like substance.. She picked up a spoonful of the mixture before placing it in her mouth, savoring the taste of the food. It wasn't too bad for prison food, though the woman would have suggested that they add more salt. As she continued to eat, Raine's grey eyes fell upon Flake's sleeping form and she raised an eyebrow while swallowing a mouthful of her food. She would have expected him to be awake by now, since he seemed like a light sleeper.

In fact, she actually suspected him to be awake at the moment, though there was no way of being complete sure just by looking at him. He was really skilled at faking as though he was asleep. With that thought in mind, Raine continued to watch him intently while steadily eating her food, waiting for him to show some indication that he was awake. Maybe his breathing patterns would change or his eyes would flutter beneath his eyelids or he would make some movement that would suggest that he was not actually asleep. By the time she had cleaned her bowl completely, Flake still hadn't moved. Hmph, he's really intent on staying like that... She thought and then a smirked formed on her face as an idea popped into her mind. Maybe there was something that she could do to get him moving...

Silently, the assassin slipped the spoon from her bowl and placed it on her bed, alongside the bowl. She then inched herself slowly from the edge of her bed, careful not to make the bed squeak in any way. It would ruin her plan if it did. Once she successfully made it from the bed, Raine slowly got down in a crouch, cutting her eyes towards Flake to see if he had moved yet. When she realized he hadn't, another smirked formed across her face. So far, so good. While keeping her breathing steady, Raine began to slowly creep across the cool prison floor, using her hands and feet much like a cat. All she needed was a tail and ears and she would fit the profile. Thankfully, though, the tray that still held Flake's breakfast was not too far away from her and, soon, she was holding his piece of bread in her hand, slowly bringing the stale thing towards her lips...
Raine watched silently from her spot on her bed across the room as Flake finally settled down and laid down, though she highly doubted that he was fully asleep. Still, she did not want to disturb him, so she stayed deathly quiet until all she could hear was her own heartbeat in her chest and Flakes faint breathing. What's gotten into me? The assassin wondered silently to herself, though she was unable to answer her own question. Being captured and put in jail had caused emotions that she had previous buried to resurface all at once and, after not dealing with them for months, Raine wasn't exactly sure how to deal with it now that it had come back at full force. Sighing a bit, the girl brought her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them before gently laying her head back against the wall. What was she to do now? Simply sit here until someone came down to the cell once? Raine was hesitant to go to sleep for fear of having the nightmare again but, if she didn't get any type of sleep, then she would not be able to function properly when needed. With that thought in mind, she closed her eyes, though it took a while before sleep finally came over her.

It seemed like only seconds passed by before the girl jolted awake at the sound of the door outside their cell slamming closed. "Geeze could you be any louder?" Groaning slightly to herself, Raine rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and it was only then that she realized that she was no longer sitting up but was now laying on her side, tangled lightly in her blanket. I must've fallen over sometime during the night... She thought to herself, wondering what in her dream had caused her to move around that much. Unfortunately, she could not remember a thing of her dream from the night before, though that is probably for the best. Sitting up, Raine realized that the reason for their unexpected visitor was to give them food. On the floor sat a tray that held two bowls with identical substances inside and two pieces of bread off to the side, along with two cups of water. Although she was not particularly hungry at the moment, the assassin knew that she needed to eat in order to keep whatever physical strength she still had. So she stood and leisurely walked over to the tray before bending down and grabbing one of the pieces of bread. "A bit stale, but it's better than nothing..."
The angel raised a curious eyebrow at Akira's question. It was indeed strange but, since they were doing this to build trust, Allura figured she would answer the question truthfully. "Well, I've always been quiet a rebellious person," she started, a smile coming to her face as she remembered all the sneaky pranks and things she used to play on her siblings back when she was alive, despite her quiet and seemingly harmless nature. "so danger doesn't bother me much. Though I would be quiet disappointed with myself if I indulged in dangerous things only to have nothing change, preferably in the area around me than in myself. However, if I am able to change the world around me in a positive way while nearly getting killed in the process, then I would be content with myself. I hope that answered your question" The angel finished with a small smile of her own before falling quiet as she thought of other questions. Eventually, one came to mind:

"If your body hadn't been invaded by the demon, where do you think your life would have went? Allura had often wondered what her answer would have been to that question herself. Would she have still been with her mother and father, helping out around the farm? Would she have moved out and explored the world around her--she had often fantasized about doing so when she was younger? Or would she have met someone and ended up having a family of her own? So many possibilities and yet she had no way of truly knowing.
Allura hummed softly to herself as she gave Akira's question some thought. What was her favorite food? It wasn't as if she had anything extravagant... at least, not when she was a human since her family was rather big but there were some things that her mother cooked that were simply delicious. "Well, before I became an angel, I remember my mother cooking a special soup every year on Thanksgiving Day. It was a combination of our best vegetables and meat, along with a well seasoned broth that only my mother knew how to make. You could smell it cooking all the way from the outside and my mouth would water every time..." A small smile formed on her face as the memories of those days came flowing back: All her siblings pilling around the table, eager to get a bowl of Mom's famous soup; the warmth of the fire that burned steadily in the corner; the sound of laughter as Father told silly stories. Allura silently wished that she could have spent more Thanksgivings with her family and taste more of her mother's soup.

Shaking the thought away, the angel focused on thinking of another question to ask Akira. "What about your favorite season? I personally enjoy fall. It's not too hot and not too cold...plus I used to pick the apples and carrots for my family in the fall as well." Allura added with another smile before falling silent, waiting for the demon to answer her question.
Its okay c:

Hygui swore softly to himself as Kinn reminded him of his sensitivity to sunlight. He had nearly killed the vampire before he even had the chance to truly cure him! "Of course, I'm terribly sorry about that." He said sincerely, his tone holding a bit of sheepishness in it as well. "I will make sure that I provide you with a wagasa the next time we take a trip outside so that you will have even more protection from the sun." The king informed Kinn with a smile before gesturing that he follow him once more; Hyugi did not want to keep the vampire out in the sun any longer than he had to be. In any case, he could always look at the garden from one of the walkways if he ever wanted to come back with the vampire. Once they were back on one of the open hallways, Hyugi paused a moment so that he could think of where to take Kinn next. Outdoor gardens were out of the question (at least, during the day time it was); He already saw the dining area and most of the rooms in the castle were just rooms--nothing too special--but Hyugi figured that he could show Kinn the castle's training area for his samurai.

"I'll show you the training area next." The king finally announced with a slight smile before leading the vampire down another series of hallways, though he was careful to avoid the ones that were fully exposed to the sun, which was now climbing steadily into the sky. Soon, the sounds of determined grunts and swords clashing against each other rang in the air, signifying that they were approaching the training grounds. "You'll be able to see the whole training grounds from up here." Hygui stated with a hint of excitement as he ascended a flight of stairs that would eventually led to another open hallway in which they could view the training grounds from. While the king wasn't one to brag, he was certainly proud of his samurai. As expected, they were hard at work, despite how relatively early it was. Some men were dressed in simple cotton pants and shirts, punching and kicking away at stuffed dummies with deadly strength. Others were fully clad in bright red gusoku and, with a sword in hand, they practiced sword play with each other. A man would occasionally fall while trying to do a jump kick or get his sword knocked out of his hand by a fellow samurai but in the end, he would get right back up and fight once again. That's what Hyugi liked about them; they were strong and seemingly invincible...unlike himself. "I wish I could train like that..." The king mumbled softly to himself.

Ever since he was younger, Hyugi always wished that he could wield a sword like the samurai. Unfortunately, he became sick before he could truly receive training from his father. Then, by that time, he'd become so sickly that he could barely hold a cup of water by himself without shaking, so wielding a sword was definitely out of the question. Hyugi had been so heartbroken over the fact that he hadn't left his room for nearly a week; he felt as though his unexpected sickness had robbed him of his most precious dream. Despite that, his fascination with samurai hadn't wavered, even after all these years.

Clang!

The sound of swords clashing pulled the king from his thoughts and, with a pained frown, he turned away from the beautiful sight. It was coming, he could feel it and soon, a coughing spell fell upon him once more. He didn't want to disturb the samurai, nor did he want them to hear him, so Hyugi traveled a little ways away from the opening back to the stairs and sat down there. The king quickly pulled out his handkerchief and pressed it to his mouth, trying to stifle the noise, his body shaking with ever cough as he did so. While this spell was considerably shorter than they usually are, he still saw a few spots of blood on the cloth when he pulled it away. "Damn..." Hyugi mumbled breathlessly to himself as he rested his head against the wall. As expected, it would take more than one "session" with the vampire before he was completely cured, though the king wasn't sure if he would last that long.
I am actually enjoying the rp (sorry for reply so late, I didn't know you posted here lol)
So far, everything is good to me =)

And we did come up with a few ideas up there ^ Currently, I'm writing a post in which Hyugi will show Kinn the training grounds =P

I did have fun =D
And now i'm back for the most part, though I do have to catch up on hw lol

I hope to be able to post more frequently though, and I apologize for the relatively short post =P I'll make up for it though =D
