So I managed to survive the semester with a third of my sanity left. To my partners: I'll try to respond to everyone in the next week or so!

If I'm ever online during the week, it means that I'm probably procrastinating with something that I shouldn't be procrastinating with.

Bio

Hello there! I'm HiddenBeauty13, HB13, Hibbie, Beauty, Hidden, or whatever nickname you choose to give me. I have been a member of RPG since 2012 (I believe, don't quote me on this. I could be wrong.)

I am a pretty diligent roleplayer but I am very dedicated to my school work and I do take time from RPG to focus on school, especially since I'm a college student. So please do not be alarmed if I'm MIA for a week (or a few weeks or a few months), I'll be back and ready to continue roleplaying with you!

Okay awesome ^^
After having a peaceful rest without any dreams at all, Raine figured that Oruin had actually given her too much poison and that she had died. She would've have minded too much. Dying was a lot more peaceful than her crazy, dangerous life. However, the assassin soon realized that she could feel and heart her heartbeat in her chest, letting her mind know that she was, in fact, still alive. Slowly, the woman opened her eyes, silently wondering why she was looking at the ceiling of some sort of building instead of the forest canopy. With that thought in mind, Raine sat up with a soft groan, trying to determine why there was a dull ache in her belly and why she was dressed in such ridiculous clothes that were actually slightly too big for her thin frame. One sleeve continued to slide down her shoulder, much to her annoyance. Wait a second... Raine thought as she jerked the surprisingly soft fabric back onto her shoulder. Who put this dress on me....? She may have been asleep for a while but the assassin was quite sure that she had not been wearing these clothes before she blacked out back at the prison. That thought alone was enough to bring a blush to the woman's cheeks, though her embarrassment didn't last long as another change showed itself: hunger.

It wasn't just any type of hunger, it was the painful kind that you get after going a few days without food. With narrowed eyes, Raine searched around the little area for any thing that could be considered edible and, low and behold, she found a tray full of something other than stale bread and clumpy porridge. Reaching over, she grabbed a few items from the tray and began to nibble the food, knowing that she would only make herself sick if she decided to down it all at once. It was only after she had gotten a little food in her stomach that Raine was truly able to access her situation: someone had obviously brought her here, changed her clothes, and left some food out for her. To be honest, she did not feel like she was in any danger, since the person didn't die her up and leave her for dead like any other sane person would do if they knew who she was. There was also a large collection of weapons on the far wall but, as the assassin got up to examine them, she realized that whomever these things belong to did not carry daggers. At all.

Rolling her eyes in frustration, the woman ended up picking out a short sword, since it was the closest thing she could get to a dagger. As she took a few practice swings, Raine realized that her movements were a tad bit sluggish, probably due to the fact that the food in her stomach hadn't broken down just yet into much needed energy. That or some of the poison was still left in her body. It was then that someone began to descend the stairs and, much to her surprise, it was Flake. "Flake? You're here too?" Now that she thought about it. there had been another bed and tray on the side of her own. The assassin listened silently to his explanation and soon realized that this was not a part of her and Oruin's plan, but it still worked. It worked perfectly, actually. "Hm, I guess I owe your friend a favor. He or she gave me food." Raine stated simply then watched as Flake made his way back up the stairs moments later. Her blue eyes then wandered over to the items that he tossed on her bed. The pants looked a bit too big but it shouldn't be much of a problem since he also gave her a belt. It didn't take Raine any time at all to slip the pants on beneath the dress and secure it with the belt before she headed up stairs with her sword in hand, just before Flake returned from his hunt for fire making materials.

For a moment, she simply observed him quietly as he concentrated solely on getting a fire going. Flake looked very different in the red robes that he currently had on and, if she didn't know any better, she would've sworn he was a different person entirely. Once he finally got the fire going, Raine walked over to it and sat down a foot or so away from it, holding out her small, chilled hands so that they could get warm. She stayed like this, silently, for a moment before finally speaking up. "I bet you're wondering what happened after you lost consciousness a few days ago." The assassin did not wait long for him to answer, since she planned on telling Flake the details anyway. "Oruin realized that you weren't completely dead but almost, and realized that it would be a perfect way for us to escape. So, I was poisoned to and we were supposed to be dumped into a pit of dead bodies but apparently, there was a bit of change with that last part." Raine stated, referring to the fact that they were now staying in his friend's home for a bit. "He also told me that he would put a map somewhere on me but I can't seem to find it...It has the whereabouts of our stuff on it..." The assassin began patting herself down, hoping to find the map on her but to no avail.

"You haven't happened to see it, have you Flake?"
Accalia was glad that Audurn decided to help her gather more dry sticks for the ever growing fire. After all, collecting sticks in the dark by yourself was not the smartest or safest thing to do. Two was always better than one. With that thought in mind, the woman followed after Audurn, her shoes crunching lightly in the snow that sprinkled the ground. Eventually, the pair found an area that was abundant in dry firewood and it didn't take them long to acquire a large amount of the stuff. "Yes, this should be enough." The woman replied to Audrun and turned her back to him as she straightened her pile of sticks, listening to him as she did so. "Well, it's easier to protect everyone when we're all together like this, to be honest, and we're a pack. We never leave another behind, even if they are old and slow or weak and young." When her statement was only met with silence, Accalia stopped what she was doing and turned to Audurn, who looked like he was going to attack something. Raising an eyebrow, the woman pulled her dagger and walked over to him slowly, taking care to keep her feet from crunching so loudly. However, as she got closer to Audurn and could finally see what he was planning on killing, she relaxed her stance slightly. That spear isn't even going to touch that fox... Her predict proved to be true only moments later and before the woman could return to what they had been doing before, Audurn took off after the fox. "Hey, wait!"

Accalia ended up following the man on his wild good chase after the fox but it eventually paid off since he ended up cornering it. Though, just before he could deliver the killing blow, the distinctive sound of battle could be heard coming from the direction that their tribes had been in. A feeling of dread and fear rendered her speechless and all she could do was nod as Audurn's suggestion. Time seemed to stop when they finally arrived back at camp, only to find it coated in dead bodies and blood. The sight drew a pained cry from Accalia and she gripped her chest tightly, her eyes watering slightly as she spied the body of baby buried face down in the mud. This was the second time that someone from her tribe had died and she was the one that survived. Not wanting to have a break down when she needed to be strong, the woman straightened and inhaled deeply before blowing it out. "We can't stay here. Whoever attacked might come back to either cover their tracks or make sure no one survived. Even if they don't come back, we can't take that chance. Let's get some supplies and find some place safe to stay in for the night. Traveling at night light this is way too dangerous, especially with killers on the loose."

And with that, Accalia slipped her dagger into its sheath and jogged over to the nearest tent, which was splattered with blood and slightly torn in some spots. When she went inside, the woman quickly got to work with searching through the original owner's things to find some food and water that they could take along with them. After looking around for a bit, she stumbled across a small knapsack that had a few pieces of dried meat and a half a thing of water. She even added a few extra things that she figured they would need to the little bag as well. "This should do." The woman muttered to herself but, just as she was about to leave, she heard a sound behind her. With narrowed eyes, Accalia dropped the bag and pulled out her dagger in one swipe, her brown eyes scanning the are around her. "Who's there?" She demanded and, to her surprise, received a soft wail in response. Recognizing that it was simply a scared child, the woman quickly put away her dagger and made her way over to his hiding spot. It was only then that she realized that it was the Alpha Female's youngest son, Weylyn.

"Weylyn..!" Accalia exclaimed softly as she gently picked the child up in her arms; He was only about four years old and was practically shaking in fear. "W-where's mommy?" He inquired, sniffling slightly as he did so. "I'm not sure at the moment." Acalia lied, not wanting to tell the boy that his mother was dead with her throat slit open near the bonfire. "We'll look for her later but, for now, we must leave." The child sniffled again and nodded reluctantly. "O-Okay..."

"Audurn! Audurn! Did you find anything?" The woman called as she walked out the tent, Weylyn in one arm and the bag in the other. "If not, I did but we should probably get going before it gets too dark..Audurn? Can you hear me?" She still hadn't heard him respond yet, nor could she see him. Not only that, Weylyn was getting restless after she had told him to close his eyes and don't open them until she told him too.
Sorry for the delay with my reply ^^
Also, towards the end of my post, the unused firewood could actually represent the first time that someone ventured into the place and didn't return. That could've been years ago, too. =P Maybe the place is actually haunted by the person who was first killed that by evil force that was originally hiding in there? *thinking of interesting plot things lol*
Allura watched as Akira feebly attempted to create fire but he was too cold, just as she was. Shivering slightly, she reached out and accepted the box of matches from her but her hands would not stay still, making her unable to light the match as well. "D-dammit..." The angel muttered softly to herself as she rubbed profusely at her arms. Why was it so cold? It was nearly unbearable at this point and Allura's eyes and tear-drop birthmark burned bright blue in the unnatural darkness as her angelic side worked to keep her body at a temperature that was not considered to be life threatening. Allura was so focused on keeping her internal temperature warm that she was slightly startled as Akira suddenly pulled her to him, wrapping her in an unexpected amount of warmth. At first, she could do nothing but stand there, surprise still evident on her face. Allura would have never expected Akira to use his wings, even if he managed to only use one. She knew it had to be painful, having to force the wing out of his back like that; it was that reason alone that kept her from doing it herself.

Eventually, she pushed those thoughts away and hesitantly wrapped her arms around his torso, knowing that he was completely covered by his own wing. "I-It's okay...I'm much warmer n-now." The angel replied with a slight smile as she glanced up Akira. Surprisingly enough, there was only a minimum amount of burning, despite the large amount of direct contact with Akira. In fact, Allura could feel the feathers of his wing tickling he back of her neck and arms. She would have actually giggled if she hadn't been so miserable by the cold that still continued to assault them. However, after a few minutes of being wrapped up in Akira's wing, Allura's body finally stopped shaking and she figured that it would be an ideal time to make a fire, now that she could actually hold the match without shaking. "I'll go on and make a fire before I start shivering again..." Gently, she pried herself from his embrace, feeling a lot colder after doing so, and pulled out a match before lighting it. It was only then that she was finally able to get a good look at Akira's current form and she felt her eyes grow wide. Even with one wing, he looked...amazing, almost like a haunting yet beautiful nightmare. Where did that come from? The angel thought, a light blush coming to her face as she did so. A beautiful nightmare? Wanting to get her mind off of the random thought, Allura quickly scanned the ground for something to use as firewood, though she was surprised to find a small pile of dry sticks and timber lying near the far wall

"Who do you think would actually come here? Especially after all the bad things circling around the village in about it." She asked after she'd finally gotten a small fire going. It seemed quite odd to her. "No one could have just tossed the sticks in here and they landed in a neat pile like this. It's just not possible." Looking from Akira, Allura glanced over slightly at the darker part of the corridor, wondering just what evils it held further inside. In all honestly, she wasn't exactly in a hurry to find out, either.
If we have to stay in here any longer, I'm going to go crazy. Aoi thought in annoyance as they went through yet another round of practicing a song that she could care less about at this moment. Not only were her over used vocal chords completely shot, but she had run out of water a long time ago, leaving her with nothing but spit to sooth her sore throat. To top it all off, she was beginning to develop a headache as well. Aoi thought she was in rough shape but, as she glanced around, she noticed that he fellow group members were practically in the same boat as her. Thankfully they did not have to suffer for too much longer as their leader finally spoke up and came to their rescue. [I]"Can we have a moment to collect ourselves? I’m only getting more off pitch, and it’s messing with the whole group’s intonation. I think it’d be more beneficial if I were given a chance to work with my voice coach for a few minutes before returning. None of us are overly familiar with this song.”[I]

"Tsk, I don't see what they need to discuss. They've had us cooped up in here for hours. It wouldn't hurt to give us a break." Aoi mumbled quietly under her breath as she watched their manager converse with the voice coach. While she knew that the group could not here them from inside the Live Room when the manager muted it, the manager could very well hear what they said from the other side, so the woman kept her voice low, not wanting to make the situation worse. Finally, they were granted a two hour break and Aoi nearly jumped for joy. It was just enough time for her rest her voice. With a loud sigh of relief, the woman made way towards the door, smiling as Jae-Hwa. "Thanks, this is just what I needed." Slender fingers randomly chose a piece from the pack and unwrapped the tiny square before slipping the piece of gum between her lips. Not only was she given a burst of delicious flavor, but Aoi was also able to produce spit once more. "Say, do you wanna go get something to eat? I've been thinking about some noodles all since I got in here." Aoi was a big fan of food, but an even bigger fan of noodles, anywhere from ramen noodles to Jjajangmyeon.
I'm sorry lol school still dictates my life atm but I should be able to squeeze some time in to post soon =)
I'm here =D
When Flake did not respond to Oruin's question, Raine turned back to look at him, only to realize that he wasn't looking so good...that and he was whispering some things to himself. "Flake...?" She asked with concern. He seemed just fine a few moments ago, what was wrong now? He began coughing so hard that Raine was sure that he would end up upchucking his breakfast. With her concern rising, Raine moved from her current spot and walked over to Flake, who now had his legs pulled up towards himself. By that time, Oruin had also become worried about the man's condition and was unlocking the cell so that he could come in as well. Knowing that he probably knew what was going on, the assassin moved back out of his way, though she ended up kicking Flake's breakfast bowl slightly. Wait a second... Now that she thought about it, Flake had been repeatedly looking over at the bowls as if something was wrong with them. Crouching down, Raine took a closer look at the bowl, only to soon realize what Flake had been mumbling about.

Silently, she stood up, her blue eyes glaring dangerously at Ourin as he got to work with laying Flake down on his back but, before he could touch him anymore, Raine went to his side and shoved him roughly up against the cell door. "Did you poison him?" She demanded coldly, her hands curling tightly into fists. Raine was already calculating where and how hard to hit Oruin if he gave her a stupid answer. While Oruin was tense, he showed no outward fear of Rain as he responded to her rather calmly. "I'll first say that, if it was me who poisoned him, I would have not made a rookie move of giving the wrong dose to the wrong person." That was all he said before slowly moving from in front of Raine and walking back over to Flake. "Since that poison was actually for you, he receive just enough poison to almost kill him, but not quite completely kill him, if that makes since." Oruin explained as he felt for a pulse and found one, but it was very weak, just almost non existent. "While I'm not completely sure of the type of poison that was used, I know that it will be a slow process for his body to get rid of the poison." Raine frowned deeply at this newfound information. "How long do you think he'll be out like this?" "Approximately three days, at least." That seemed like a long time in the assassin's eyes, especially since they've only been in the jail for two days but it has felt like a hundred days.

"But don't worry. We could actually use this to both of your advantages. It could help you escape. The only thing is: you'll have to take some poison too."

At first, Raine was hesitant to go through with the idea, even if it was to help her and Flake escape. Just who in their right mind takes poison willingly? What if the same person that poisoned Flake actually managed to slip it into her breakfast? "Don't worry Raine. I'll be the one giving you the poison and it won't be enough to kill you either." "Then I'll just be like Flake and I won't be able to protect either of us." Oruin sighed as he turned to look at her. "I will be personally escorting your bodies out of here, I won't let anything happen." It took a bit more convincing, but the assassin eventually went along with the idea. And thus, the two began to put their plan into motion.

A few hours later, a male came down holding a tray with two bowls and two cups. "Lunchtime." The assassin muttered as she watched him open the cell for a brief moment so he could slide the tray of food inside. As he stood up to leave, his eyes turned to look over at Flake. "What's wrong with him?" Even though Oruin had managed to make it look like Flake was simply sleeping away, he was still quite pale and deathly still. "Nothing. He felt a bit light headed earlier and decided to take a nap." The assassin lied and watched as the man glanced her way. "I should probably get the medic." Raine shook her head in response. "No, it's fine. He already came to check on him earlier." That part wasn't exactly a lie but it would also ruin the plan if they called Oruin too early. The man looked a bit conflicted at first before finally turning to leave. "Okay, well if he gets worst, let one of us know by dinnertime."

Once he was gone, Raine crouched down and examined the bowls before finding the little "O" that had been carved onto one of the sides. This one has poison that I'm supposed to take in it. She thought to herself as she gently lifted the bowl in her hands. The poison that will set us free... With that thought in mind, she tipped the bowl up and downed the pasty substance as quickly as she could without choking. Afterwards, she drunk both hers and Flake's cup of water before wiping her mouth clean. "Let's do this."

At first, the assassin did not know what to expect. Intense pain? Bleeding? Vomiting? Stomach aches? It was just as torturous having to sit there and wait for the symptoms to come as it was actually having the symptoms themselves. Raine was so busy worrying about it that she almost missed the first signs of the poison's affect: she couldn't feel her legs anymore. Originally, she thought it was because she had been sitting down for so long but as she tried to stand up, her legs gave out from beneath her and Raine fell to the ground hard. "Ow..." The woman mumbled as pain shot up her nose; she'd managed to face plant the ground when she fell and, boy, did it hurt. Raine tried to reach up and check to make sure that her nose wasn't broken but soon found that she couldn't move her arms either. Panic began to set in after that moment. Is this what Flake had to go through? It's a horrible feeling...She thought to herself as a sharp pain pierced her stomach, though she could not even clutch her stomach in pain due to her now useless limbs. Eventually, the pain began to be too much and the assassin ended up passing out on the floor. The last thing that she could remember was the faint sound of footsteps coming down the stairs....

~~~
Oruin had a slight smile on his face as he finally entered the area in which the two of them were being held. From the looks of things, everything had gone exactly according to plan. Raine was sprawled out on the ground and Flake was still lying in the same position that he had put the bounty hunter in before. Both looked very dead at the moment. "Now, for the last part of the plan..." the medic mumbled to himself as he went and opened the jail door. The medic strolled over to Raine and slipped a small, folded piece of paper into her shoe, figuring that it was a place that no one would happen to discover the note. It held a brief message from Ourin, a map of the land, and directions on how to get out of the forest and where to find their stuff that he managed to steal from the guards. He then proceeded to exit the area to go and fetch a pair of guards, yelling, "Help! Help! They've been poisoned!" The next hour went by in a blur for Oruin. He had to lead the guards back to the cell and explain to them what had happened. He then spent who knows how long trying to "revive" the two before announcing that there was nothing else that he could do. They were gone. By then, the news of the assassin's and bounty hunter's death had reached the ears of other inmates and, of course, the man in charge of the prison as well. He would no doubt relay the information to Raine's uncle who would only be relieved, but not satisfied. She still had the inheritance papers. He didn't.
Oruin then assisted the guards with transporting the bodies to the site in which they dumped all inmates that died inside in the prison. It was only a thirty minute walk from the prison into the dense forest behind it. It was there in which the guards tossed the two bodies into a pit that was about twelve feet deep and a third filled with actual dead bodies. "May they rest in peace..." Oruin muttered softly after saying a quick prayer. It was only then that he and the guards left, leaving the two to rot.
Accalica only caught bits and pieces of Bleddyn's exchange with the Bear Tribe's leader, though she figured that their talk went well as the two finally shook hands and the two tribes began to merge together. It was only then that the woman returned her knives to her belt and proceeded to retrieve her items from the ground with a slight grunt. "Well, this should be interesting." Accalia mumbled softly to herself. They rarely met up with the Bear Tribe outside of the biannual meetings but, when they did, the two tribes always had a pleasant time in each other's companies. With a soft sigh, the woman adjusted her bag on her shoulders before heading in the opposite direction, knowing that sticks would be needed for the big campfire that the others were probably tending to at the moment. That, and she did not know many of the members of the bear tribe that had come along this time and the woman was not keen to meeting new people.
Taking care not to stray too far from everyone else, Accalia eventually found a spot that she thought would be great for finding dry branches and got to work. The woman fell deep into her own thoughts as she worked and ended up going unnoticed by those in both the Wolf and Bear Tribes. Not that it mattered. Accalia was one of the few Wolves that chose to work alone whether than with others so it wasn't hard to simply empty her mind of unnecessary thoughts and focus on the task at hand; it as that skill that made her one of the best animal trackers in the Wolf Tribe. Instead, she was hunting for dry sticks instead of deer tracks this time. After a few minutes of intense stick tracking, Accalia managed to collect a small armful of sticks that were perfect for maintaining a nice, warm fire. Smiling proudly to herself, the woman crouched down and reached for another stick that caught her eye, though she was too engrossed in her own thoughts to hear the nearby Bear Tribe member. In fact, she didn't even notice him until he ended up falling on her, pinning her to the cold, snowy ground.
"Ah man..." The woman muttered to herself after the guy had finally gotten off of her and, although she wasn't hurt, her clothes were now slightly damp due to the snow. “M-medveds apologies, I hadn't seen you!” the man exclaimed and Accalia gratefully accepted his hand as she wanted nothing more but to get off the ground. Normally she would've been rather heated over the fact that someone had knocked her over into the snow but the guy, who introduced himself as Audrun, seemed to be very apologetic about the whole situation. Then, to top it off, both of their tribes' leaders and a few others appeared seemingly out of thin air and Jogdeir proceeded to whisk Audurn away as if he had offended her in the worst way possible. There was no way that Accalia would add to his misery, especially when she heard some of his own tribe member snickering at the situation.
"I-I'm f-fine. I wasn't paying a-attention and ended up-p bumping into him-m." The woman explained through chattering teeth; her wet clothing was already affecting her body and, upon seeing this, Bleddyn wrapped an arm around her shoulders in a fatherly way. "Come, let's get you into some dry clothes or you will become sick." He stated and Accalia didn't refuse. After all, Bleddyn has been like a father to Accalia ever since he decided to take her under his paws after her parents died and she would obey him as such. The trip back to the large campfire was a silent one and the woman assumed that he had believed her little fib since he had not ask her anymore questions about the incident.
As soon as they made it back to camp, Accalia was guided over to where the Alpha Female was conversing with another member of the tribe and, after seeing her shivering in the cold, she was swept away into Bleddyn's large tent. "How did you end up getting your clothes wet, Accalia?" The woman inquired as she handed a change of clothing to the shivering woman. "I wasn't p-paying attention a-and bumped into s-somebody." She replied while she shimmied out of her current clothing. Accalia then watched as the Alpha Female hum in response; apparently she seemed to accept her response just as her husband did. "Well, make sure you're more careful next time. We wouldn't want you getting sick." The two soon fell into a comfortable silence which was only broken as Accalia handed her wet clothing to her. "Do you know where Jogdeir is sitting?"
While the Alpha Female was not completely sure of the Bear Tribe leader's whereabouts, she was able to direct Accalia in the general direction in which he should be. Though she was actually looking for Audrun, not Jodgeir. After all, it is impolite to have someone introduce themselves without returning the gesture. Finding him was no easy task. Accalia had to dodge the Wolf Tribe children as they chased after each other without really paying attention to where they were going and avoid getting pulled into boring conversations by the elderly. Not only that, but she also had to maneuver around Ulric and his ever growing crowd of female admirers. Tsk, they just want to earn the title of Alpha Female once Ulric becomes our leader. Accalia would rather leave her tribe than to be guided by someone as dimwitted as him.
Finally, after searching around for a little bit, the woman found him sitting next to another member of the Bear Tribe on a large, fallen tree trunk and he looked far from happy. "Hey, I never got to introduce myself: I'm Accalia, daughter of the late Otsanda and Rezso." She stated, taking care to include both of her parents in her introduction. There was a small moment of silence as Accalia thought of what to say next. Usually she would have simply taken her leave and never looked back but Audurn intrigued her, though she wasn't exactly sure why. "Since we both failed to get any firewood for the bonfire, would you like to help me collect some now?" It was something that still needed to be done, whether they liked it or not. Plus it was starting to get later in the day and collecting good, dry firewood was much easier when done during the day not the night.
