Oleandra was enjoying some peace in her garden. It was one of her few keepsakes and something she loved to do. She adored the flowers because they did not wilt in her prescence. Instead they seemed to rise and stretch towards the princess. This garden was precious to her, as it seemed that only it went untouched by the Hell outside the castle walls. The Princess would never admit it, but she afraid. Terrified even.
With a steadying breath she began to tend to the flowers. Watering them and trimming their dead leaves. Gardening calmed her. It was in peaceful times like this where she wondered how the queen faired. Things had been rough and Oleandra could tell that the young queen was trying hard to put on a strong face. Could Oleandra be that strong as well? If something were to happen to the queen, everything would be left to her. That was the princesses nightmare. She knew she was not fit to rule, she lacked the spine. Instead she prayed for a miracle.

Queen Solandria sat in the study, reading over a few documents concerning weapon and livestock trades. She hadn't slept in a few days and was becoming irritable. Her shipment would be late due to a storm that caused the trade routes to be blocked. Her men needed that armor. Though she was a queen, Solandria acted closer to a general. The warrior queen was both famous and infamous amongst the masses.
