Marzia had been staying at this place for a while now and was taking care of the feral cats. One was small and white and today it was playful, running around, wanting her to chase. It ran into the basement window of the Star Inn and looked up at her with a soft mew. It sniffed at a book. Marzia picked it up and flipped through it up she saw the word MALICE in big, scrawling hand.
The book began to glow. She began to glow and she gasped. The world faded and so did the kittens mews. She woke up in a forest, realizing how oddly calm she felt. Calm, and confident. She stood and took in her new attire as well as the weapon strapped to her back. Looking around she saw a few other strange looking people and creatures.
"Where am I?" She demanded.
