Lorelai's smirked at first, hearing him "legitimize" her felt like such a pot of shit. However, the second she heard that it lasted until the queen gave birth, she was enraged. Her face froze in an expressionless state and her glass slipped from her fingers. Though she appeared placid outside, inside she was seething.
Her inner thoughts hissed with hate.
Pregnant? The whore is PREGNANT? As though she did not have enough of the love from this wretched place. The love from the king an Isiah was not enough. Now she needed the love of a child as well? And who's to say it's even Steffan's? Perhaps....it is Isiah's.
"My Lady." Cooed a warm voice in her ear. She turned around and Lawrence was there. Her was wrapping his arms around her waist, or rather, he was putting her belt on her. Her belt with her sabre. It was only then that she noticed that she had been frantically clawing at that spot on her dress. With it back she found strength. "Now smile." She did but it was dead. However, it appeased the masses as they cheered for the king and queen, having vague interest in the sudden " true princess" and more happiness in the ongoing royal lineage.
Lorelai continued to smile and then curtsied, however her eyes looked dead. "I am not worthy of such kindness my king. I pray the best for your child as I know it will have a caring mother and father who will love it and each other very dearly." she said looking at Steffan, then Irena. "If it so pleases his highness there is another performance."
