Lorelai had hesitated. She had meant to follow the queen and put her plan into action then. Lawrence decided it was his turn. The knight took the princesses hand and lead her to the dance floor. For a while the two danced idly, though not even remotely focused on each other. When they got close Lawrence smiled at the king and queen.
"Greetings your highness." He said with a deep bow, Lorelai curtsied. "If it is not too much trouble, I would like to request a moment of your time." He gave him a kind, yet slightly mischievous smile, eye brow quirked up. He leaned in close to the king's ear to whisper. "Lorelai wishes to beseech the queen with a present for your child. If you could grant them only a moment's time alone. Bonding and such is the way of women." Lawrence winked.
The princess smiled bashfully at the queen and nodded.
