Monte continued on his travels, walking along he kept a quick overview on the area, and then looked into the tall grass. "Right, if we go head first we could run into multiple opponents, meaning it would be an easy trip to the Pokecenter." Monte mumbled to himself observing the area. "Right, a left would be an easier area, meaning normal and bug-type Pokemon. The right would lead to Ekans area. I think we can take them on." Monte finished his mumbling and looked up. "Let's go." Monte ran to the right running into the grass. He saw an Ekans hissing at him Perfect! He thought to himself.
Monte ran up to them and bowled his Pidgeys Pokeball into the floor like he was playing cricket. He quickly stopped running and stood a meter away from the battle. "Right, ready..." The Ekans looked at the Pidgey with pure hate. "Set..." The Ekans began to approach Vela and quickly went for a wrap. "Go!" The Pidgey charged and went for a peck, but Ekans used it's speed and only got clipped on the tail. "Huh?" Ekans quickly wrapped itself around Vela and choked it with a wrap. "Wait..." The Pidgey obeyed it's trainers orders, however was slowly losing conciousness,
"Two more seconds!" Yelled out Monte as his Pokemon slowly lost HP. "Now, Peck!" When Ekans least expected it, Pidgey dove straight into the Ekans midsection. The Ekans bounced back and cried in pain, however, Vela dove in for another Peck, but got sucked into a poison cloud. The Peck, however, connected. Vela stood there, still as a statue, and eventually fell over. "Goddamn, must've been the poison!" Monte quickly returned the Pokemon. "We gotta go back!" Monte sprinted back towards the centre of the forest.
