She is traumatized. She does a lot of nasty stuff.I think she would do it to draw attention, because she's afraid of not making friends, and because she wants to assert dominance.But mainly she's just difficult because her parents died when she was young.

That doesn't assert dominance, it makes you look like the worst highschool bully ever.
