Hello, I was thinking of hosting a space/fantasy themed nation rp, where you control a planet in a galaxy, with space flight capabilities!
Update: 1
So I want to break down each planet/nation into five categories.
Economics: exports, imports, unique tradables, inner workings and what ever else.
Military: Units, Ships, tactics, military history, strengths, and weaknesses.
History: Unification of planet, history of faction and why they achieved space flight.
Society: Some history on it, what is normal, values, education, religion, and values
Species: Build, features, looks, unique characteristics, strengths and weaknesses.

For general concepts I want to do sci-fi/Fantasy I'm willing to do some magic, but i don't want like "Lizard Soldier uses disintegrate and rips apart the entire fleet of mechs charging him." Instead I'd like it to kinda be like "Lizard man holds out his hand, using all his concentration to muster up his mama reserves to cast a single bolt of moltent blue fire at the incoming mech" stuff like that.
Also If you have a unique species be sure to make sure they're not physically possible "12 feet tall lizardmen with a 6 foot wing span, each one sighs 600lbs plus" you know get some realisms in there.
I want planets to have realistic militaries too. Not like "we're super liberal, and don't do anything that involves violence, but our space armada is armed with the toughest marines, and pilots in all the galaxy." With that being said no over powered people,ships,magic, home planet defences.
But I'm open to suggestions so if you can convince me why 12ft tall lizard men with 6foot wing span, and magic that can kill entire armies and fly, who also happen to be super peaceful and liberal with a military so powerful it makes black holes push them away? Then... You can try. But I'm not a push over so better make it convincing.
I'd like to have it rolling relatively quickly. Sit down talk about ideas then roll right into it.
Anyway I want at least four people other than myself to do this sooo... Is aaaanyone interested?

I totally agree. I don't like the barbarian random event/military random event. I have a set of ideas on what s going to happen in my nation from my own little events and such ( because I enjoy the struggle bus ) but the whole "can't come in" is apart of my nation" its supposed to make my people ignorant of other nations and such. Buuut I agree with bad harvest, and plague, and bad omens I totally agree with those. Its just we don't have a way for raging barbarians to be fairly administered.
