Aye, though instead of being like Tashigi and collecting the swords to get them out of pirates/filthy hands, he just wants to collect some swords. Maybe get ahold of Mihawk's Yoru... Though, he might stay away from the Kitetsu blades. He's no Zoro, doubt he'll survive the curse of those blades. xD

Akane Hanezawa // Hanezawa Residence
Waking up in her spacious apartment, Akane let out a sigh. "Another new school year." My new life as a 2nd year, eh? Rolling to her side, she glances at a picture with a group of people on the nightstand. "Well senpais, looks like this is the year your beloved club finally meets it's end." she said rubbing her eyes. That club being the Manga Research Club. The club wasn't able to recruit any new members last year aside from Akane and the club was stuck with nothing but 3rd years, thus if the club doesn't gather a few more members it'll be dissolved.
Though, it's not like Akane is particularly worried about getting new members. It's not like she needs club status to read and/or create manga. If it goes, it goes. That's all there is to it. So don't expect her to be out recruiting for members. Finally getting up, she heads off to the shower. Getting changed, she then goes into the kitchen and prepares some breakfest. A nice big bowl of cereal. Yum. Considering she lives alone and doesn't like cooking, it was one of the few options for her in the morning. Not like it bothered her in the least. She happened to like cereal.
Taking out a brush, she readied herself in the mirror before straightening out her uniform. Well, time to head off.
Closing and locking the door, she heads off to school

As she approached the high school gates, she could see a first year bowing and being loud. With a laugh, she proceeded through the gates and headed towards the school building. There's still time before class, I think I'll head to the roof and get some reading done. With that, she stops by her shoe locker. Locking up, she heads up the stairs and opens the door to the roof. Normally students shouldn't be up here, but honestly....who cares? She wanted some peace and quiet. She then sets her bag down and sits along the wall. Taking out something from her bag, Now....for the latest Shut Hell. With a wide grin, she begins reading.

Oh Savo, I think I should give confirmation on the fact that Akane is a 2nd year.
And since people are picking favorite weapons or such, I'd pick Katanas/Swords.
Yay yakuza, well they favor guns but some would favor swords, Katanas are love.

As the mid-sized Wano Country patrol boat finally made port at Loguetown, he got off the ship and began tying and anchoring it down. Stretching, he took one last look at the ship. "You know, this is probably the last time we'll ever see each other. You've been good to me, from my escape from Wano, to getting me to this town. I thank you." with a smile, he did a salute and left the patrol boat, which hilariously donned a marine flag he stole from some fleeing marines that were fighting with a gang of pirates. Probably young recruits. He mused.
It might seem silly or crazy to most to be talking to a ship but Unlike most people these days, Kurama believed in the existence of the Klabautermann, a water spirit (or fairies) that's said to reside on ships....as a manifestation of the ships soul given form out of the love and care its owner gives it. Something like that. It might've only been with the ship for little over a year but the ship served as a home and kept him alive at sea, allowing him to get here. It was sad to say farewells and leave it here but their was no other choice. He came here to begin his journey, though it might be a bit degrading, coming here and joining a pirate crew might be the only choice he's got. One might say there's the Marines, but that's no option, he detested the Marines, at least the ones he has come across. Their first instinct is that anyone on the open seas must be a pirate and resort to hostilities right away. Well, at least the younger generation of Marines anyway.
Leaving the docks, he noticed that the crowd of people had their eyes on him and began whispering amongst themselves. "Well, Aren't I a lucky guy, getting the VIP treatment right off the bat." he snickered in mock surprise. He knew what it was, it wasn't that hard to tell. His samurai gi isn't exactly all the rage outside of Wano Country and there was another reason, his swords. Sheathed together with Kurenai, was Yamaoroshi, one of the fifty Ryo Wazamano grade swords. It was a matter of luck coming across it. He was lucky that the shop owner didn't have much of a clue about swords or he wouldn't have sold it to him for such a low price. No, that couldn't have been the case could it? With a sigh, he shook his head. It didn't matter, what really matters is that he holds a Meito, a sword with status. A sword he holds dear.
Looking around, he continued walking through the town he noticed a small thin like boy with a strange hat.....and yellow teeth, who seemed a bit lost. He also seemed to be looking for something. Hmm, maybe he came here for the same reason I did. Rumors do see to get around... What was it they say about this town? The town being the 'beginning' and the end' or something? And also was the town where a former king of the pirates was executed half a century or so ago? That might be something to see... With that thought, his stomach rumbled and any such idea was quickly quashed. "That's right, it's been a few days since I've last eaten. Might as well get some food in me before I start looking around seriously." With that, he heads off to a restaurant.

Oh damn, I think that's just as good or if not better than a trait (it even fits in with the fact my picture has 2 swords).

The immune to rusting and extreme heat would be it's be its only specialties and the name meaning isn't literal?
But man, to have such a great sword, exciting. Perfect for kurama. XD
I think Kurama will have a secondary goal now, on the side of attempting to finding zoro and becoming the best swordsman but to collect as many Wazamono err Meito swords!
