Mid/High Casual - Divinus: The Deity Roleplay Mk.II

Well given that I've been hovering for a couple of hours I figure I may as well introduce myself.

I'm Iktomi nice to meet all of you. So a bit of quick background. Originally I was just reading the character sheets and a few IC posts and decided to message Kho to inform him that he had set up a fascinating roleplay and gathered a fantastic group of writers. One thing lead to another and the wedding is in a week he convinced me to create a character.

End of background, now current events! Before even thinking about a Demigod I would like to determine what his/her domain/portfolio will be. The simplest way to do that is determine who brought them into this world. Any volunteers?

Edit: Just discovered that their domain/portfolio isn't dependent on their parent so scratch that aspect. However I am still accepting applications to be the father/mother of the yet unknown demigod.

An Ideal World - Bleach

Q: Would people like to be able to create unique histories and their own lore (royal families, factions, races) at some point in the RP?
A: Given that you are aiming to create an ideal Bleach RP I believe that history and lore should be able to be created, though monitored naturally.

Q: Would people like to have the chance to lead their own Arcs later in the RP?
A: I agree with previous answers it would depend on the individual, and whether or not it fits with the current events.

Q: As Bleach is a verse centered around conflict between factions and inviduals, it stands to reason that an RP based on it will also be as such. The question is, what races do people prefer to be playable? Shinigami, Arrancar, Quincy, Spiritually Aware Humans, etc etc.
A: I do not particularly care which race ends up being playable, however I do believe that it should be restricted to a single one. Perhaps later on once the RP has established itself firmly and has proven it can sustain multiple races.

Q: Would people prefer the story's villain faction to be playable, or ought they be controlled by the GMs entirely--or is a middle ground best?
A: I believe the villain faction should be controlled primarily by the GMs, with them reaching out to recruit from the player pool occasionally if the need arises.

Q: Should there be a limit to how many characters a player can make?
A: Yes there should be, and it should be fairly low at the beginning. Just like with the races I believe the cap could be raised later on if both the RP and RPer have proven they can maintain it.

Q: Who the hell is this Iktomi guy?
A: That is a valid question, however it is beyond my ability to answer it.
