I think Yuki's gone.

There goes the James-Honari-Elric love triangle.

Darnit, I hate to say this but I think I have to quit for personal reasons, life been quite busy and after today i think i have to cut out some roleplays thatt I was doing, and I unfortunately had to cut this one off due to the fact im already behind :( ~Sorry I couldnt accompany you guys through out the whole adventure, maybe next time? But you weren't even that far behind.
So post, then.
"A vampire cure..." James repeated absently, curling an arm around his daughter's tiny body. Even like she was, she seemed infinitely frail in his eyes, like thin glass and paper. Perhaps he was biased, he thought, but he couldn't help but think she was fragile, vampiric abilities or no.

"I bet we'll find one soon, too." he agreed, rubbing her hair. "Soon."
With this, he gave a soft "Good night, Anya", and stared at the ceiling, waiting for his breath to slow as the soft lull of slumber overtook him.

What happened when i was away >.>((Slightly overwhelmed that we have past the 1000 post mark...))

James slayed a Dire Hyena. Elric fought a gnoll and received few injuries.
Tirarian helped.
Also maybe we should think about going ahead to the morning, when the shops and guilds are open.
"Thanks. It'll only be a little while." James said, ascending the stairs. He re-entered his bedroom, then stripped off his armor, leaving himself in a plain shirt and breeches. The metal gear and surcoat lay in a pile as James collapsed backwards onto a mattress.

"That was some fight, Anya," he yawned. "But your papa won. I think we should go to bed now, though. We gotta search this town same as the others, and that means tomorrow's gonna be busy."

An airship is very debatable. Don't make these calls without referring to GM or at least players. Airships are such a powerful technology, they would take the world by storm. You would see one everywhere within 20 years of their invention I promise you, the ability to ship people and goods without having to worry about terrain would easily sustain an army of 100,000, probably far more. I'm guessing we don't want such powerful tech though

That "powerful tech" is all over D&D, which is what this game is based on.
But you're still confusing the setting with medieval Europe, when we're not in medieval Europe. This setting has magic and weird hyena men and probably an airship hiding somewhere.

100,000 people from every army in Europe, and everybody laughs at the crusades because they all starved and got diseases. Not to mention that 100,000 could well count civilians, because if you wanted to go they let you because they believed all were equal in the eyes of god.Your argument of high fantasy does have a point however, though it isn't like we are in a state of total war. In the event of conscription and magic to support the army perhaps something along the lines of 80,000 could be mustered. However they wouldn't be too efficient, mostly built on militia, but so was every medieval army. As for saying peasants were still around, big deal. Russia still had peasants in 1850 (and arguably afterwards)

Nobody laughs at the Crusades because it was an amazingly huge campaign that succeeded in taking Jerusalem.
Secondly, we're talking about a coalition aided by magic and shit. If the Orcs join in, then every Orc will join. That is a lot of Orcs. Orcs are more efficient than militia.

And nobody even mentioned peasants.
