Yeah, I think a smaller group would be better to start off with. c: One or two more people would be perfect, in my opinion.
Ooh, this looks really interesting. :D You can count me in!

What is your goal with this power?

Actually, now that I think about it, I sort of want him to use it more defensively than offensively, so I guess he'd be using it as a dust shield of sorts? That doesn't really match his personality, though... I don't know, I think I might have him go for a different power (possibly light / illusion manipulation, or maybe a combination of electric and water manipulation).

EDIT: Oh, actually, I just realized what power would really fit in with his personality and everything. :D He really likes butterflies / birds in general, so maybe that could work as his power. (I really don't know how I missed that before...)

If he can move dust at the speed to create a sandstorm, he can force it down someones throat and into their lungs.

Or manipulate the dust that everyone breathes normally and ruin them from the inside.Air manipulation or anything to do with small particles are always very powerful abilities that should have some serious limitations IMO.

Okay, I'm probably going to have to come up with some sort of major weakness, then... I was thinking that he'd maybe have trouble breathing, so he'd face the problem of himself not being able to breath as well as his enemies? (Not quite as bad as asthma, but I was think he'd start choking up / start finding it hard to breath.) Also, since dust gets blown away easily, his powers probably wouldn't work at all when there's even the slightest bit of wind. He'd probably have to be able to really close to the dust for it to work as well, so I'd say standing two metres away is the maximum distance.

So, does it sound too OP right now?

It sounds like it can be used very opportunistically, how absolute is his control?

It won't be too much control, just with areas that have a high concentration of dust, and only if the parts are small enough. Like, fine / possibly dust that's almost powder-y. (He won't be able to control small pieces of rock, though.) I'm guessing his powers work best indoors, where dust gathers more easily. If the dust's made of the right material, then he could probably stir up a miniature sand / dust storm, mostly as a defense. For offense, I guess he could... make the dust get into his opponents' eyes...? I guess he'd be able to absorb some of it, as well, although that wouldn't be great for his health and probably make him all coughy for a while.

Dust is simply very small particles of something larger. Dust may just be really fine sand, and sand is just really fine gravel, and gravel is just ground up, broken up pieces of rock and boulder, and rock and boulders are the bedrock and the mountains. To control dust, I would think you'd have to control rock itself, and the minerals that are often in it.My opinion, of course

Okay, thanks for the input! :3 I think having him control smaller bits of sand / rock would make a little more sense, then?
Blargh, one more question before I start finalizing things. Would the ability to control dust be too OP for a power?
Yay, so the duck relic is most definitely going to be a thing, then! :D I'll get the CS up sometime tomorrow.
Alright, I just got back from school, so I'm going to start working on my CS soon. I just have to ask, though, would you guys be alright with me using this as my character's relic?
I really enjoy roleplays that're character driven, so you've caught my interest. :3 I'm probably going to be posting a CS for this sometime within the next three-ish days.
I haven't posted in the OOC for quite some time now, so... just thought I'd say hi. :3

(Also, the tension between Haruka and Shiori should be pretty entertaining / funny later on, I'd imagine. I'm enjoying this so far.~)
