(I'll make more doodles later. :p) Alaric Keto | Male | Twelve | Hufflepuff
Appearance: ~ Lighter olive-ish skin ~ Starting to get a few pimples here and there ~ Short black-ish hair ~ Cerulean blue eyes ~ Slightly willowy stature, a bit taller than his peers ~ Fairly "average" build, but somewhat boyish Wand: Curupay, dragon heartstring, ten inches Pet: A rather old owl named Minna. Alaric doesn't seem to care much for the owl herself, but is still protective of her nonetheless since she used to belong to his brother. Strengths: Alaric's best class would definitely be flying (although Quidditch doesn't really seem to be his thing). The other class he seems to be alright in is Defense Against the Dark Arts. But really, the most prominent "talent" of his seems to be throwing around empty threats, actually. That and sucking up to any purebloods he happens to spot. (...The boy doesn't excel much in anything, really.) If the ability to fanatically follow someone counts, that'd be a thing too. Weaknesses: It's ridiculously easy to take advantage of Alaric if you're pureblood and hate muggle-borns, since he tends to gravitate towards people whose blood status he considers to be better than his. (Half bloods are alright to him, but he still views them as people he wouldn't want to associate himself with unless there were no purebloods around... despite being a half blood himself.) If he comes to respect you enough, though, and your interests happen to align with his, he'd probably start to follow you rather... fanatically. Personality: While Alaric isn't really one for frequently getting into fights, he's definitely the type to be easily provoked. Any and all insults towards him will be considered good reason to a) start holding grudges b) for him to start clumping you into the same group as "mudbloods and blood traitors" or c) (if you've ticked him off enough) possibly start a fight. (He'll definitely start a fight if you've been questioning his idea of justice or , though. Definitely.) On a side note, it's probably worth mentioning that any blood traitors / muggle-borns / muggle-born sympathizers will instantly earn his undying hatred. Aside from that, Alaric also has this tendency to try and play the role of the "hero", and will frequently try to help out others / maybe even save them if the situation calls for it. (Of course, this treatment is almost exclusively for purebloods. Muggle-borns, muggles and blood traitors will all be ignored. Half bloods... are a big "maybe".) The boy pretty much considers everything he does to be the "right thing to do", actually. It's probably not a good idea to question this (since Alaric never questions things like this), and doing so might... mess with his mind. History: Alaric was born to two half blood parents in Britain (although his mother's family was Irish and his father's Finnish / British). Growing up, his brother had always been a big influence to him, with him looking up to him even more than he did to his parents. He never had much exposure to the muggle world, either, so most of the concepts there were (and still are) rather foreign to him. While his parents were definitely anti-muggle / muggle-born, his brother was the one who really brought the prejudice up a notch. (This didn't really start until his brother's third year at Hogwarts, though.) Alaric, as a child, would always look forward to when his brother came home from Hogwarts during breaks and tell stories of everything that'd happened there, especially during Quidditch practice. (This lead to him being slightly obsessed with brooms for a while.) Sometime around when his brother was in his third year, however, his stories turned from more light hearted ones to ones focusing more on muggle-borns and how they were a hindrance to the wizarding world. And, as time went on, they developed undertones (and then overtones) of how ultimately, it would be true justice for someone to wipe the muggle-borns and blood traitors off the face of the planet. It was then that Alaric started to get the idea that, maybe, he should try to actually help the purebloods get rid of the mudbloods to maybe gain his brother's approval. This started off as more of a minor thing, but soon developed into an unhealthy obsession, and eventually evolved and invaded almost his entire mindset. Then, a few years later, it was time for Alaric to go to Hogwarts. Naturally, remembering his brother's stories, he was rather excited to go. (...Although he probably won't remain happy for long after he realizes how many muggle-born students there are compared to the number of purebloods.) NPCs: Father - Alvar Keto - Hufflepuff Mother - Darina Keto Brother - Archie Keto - Gryffindor - Perhaps the biggest influence in Alaric's life so far. He looks up to him even more than he does his parents, and would probably die for him. His prejudice against muggle borns also stems from him. Since he's already graduated from Hogwarts, though, he probably won't be appearing much in the roleplay.
A question - are the villains going to be against muggle borns / in favor of purebloods in any way? I was thinking of making a character who might be sympathizing with the villains, but he'd probably side with anyone who's prejudiced against muggle borns, so... :p
Okay, why haven't I found this earlier? :p I'm definitely in.
This looks like it has the potential to be really entertaining. xD Don't know if I can commit myself yet, but I'll be watching this thread for sure.
...And that friend would be me. :p

This idea sounds promising, so I'm pretty interested. (I might be a little slow on posting, though, since I'm sort of busy at the moment.) Also, I'll vote for the first option.
Would you guys mind waiting for a little longer? I just have to finish the biography section now, and then I'll be done. :p
Name: Ashti Cicone
Gender: Female
Age: Eighteen

Physical Appearance: Ashti doesn't stand out particularly in terms of appearance, but she's not excessively bland, either. She's just... Ashti for lack of better wording. If there's one thing that's particularly noticeable about her, though, it'd be her teeth. Saying they "aren't attractive" would be a ridiculous understatement - they're chipped in several places, and one or two are broken off completely. Otherwise, her features are fairly average - her hair's caramel / amber-ish, her eyes are a darker shade of blue and her skin's been tanned a light olive color. Ashti's face is also splattered with freckles, which cover a good portion of her features. She's also quite flat chested, which gives her the appearance of someone slightly younger than she really is. Her height suggests someone in their early twenties to mid twenties, though.

As for clothing, she still wears clothes that remind her of home rather than wear clothing more suited for traveling. This usually comes in the form of sort of farming clothing. (So baggy pants, rougher fabric, etc.) Some of her clothes are also rather patched up, and look like they're well worn.

Skills: Ashti's quite agile and light on her feet, and so tends to be the first one to try and scale a tree. Or a cliff wall (which, of course, never ends well). There's also the fact that she tends to listen in on others' conversations, but since she freely gives this sort of information to whoever requests it... this usually becomes both an advantage and disadvantage for the people around her. Otherwise, she's also taken a liking to explosives - she's not... too great at creating them herself, but she knows some of the basics. (She also does have a fair bit of strength, but has no idea how to use it at the moment.)

Personality: Regarding personality, Ashti's not much of a "woman" as much a child. It's not a matter of naivety, though - she's aware the world isn't paradise, and she definitely isn't idealistic. Another thing about this is that she tends to be blunt, and, for the most part, doesn't stick to social norms unless she thinks it benefits her. "Ambitious" is also something Ashti can be considered as, but this... never ends well. Whenever there's something new, something she's never done before, she'll go ahead and get some sort of farfetched idea about it.

One of her worst negative traits is her urge to act more "cool" (or, in other words, "badass"). It's not as much to fit in as much as it is to prove to herself she's capable of taking care of herself. If she refuses your help, it's usually just her ego speaking for her, since she'll never admit someone's better than her.

She's also extremely energetic, and is usually chattering away to whoever's unfortunate enough to be closest to her. As mentioned before, she does have the tendency to reveal that information to whoever she feels like revealing it to at the moment. The only way you could stop this, really, is if you're one of the people she considers to be her friends. Even then, she's still likely to "accidentally" say something about you to the others once in a while. (This stems from, again, her more "childish" personality and her just liking to mess with people.)

Ashti's never strictly loyal to just one side, either. If she finds it entertaining enough to mess with them, then she'll do it. And, as mentioned before, since Ashti holds a more , romance is one of those subjects she tends to veer away from. Not because she thinks "she's an independent woman doesn't need a man", but more of "romance is gross". Purely platonic relationships are alright by her standards, but even then, you'd have to win her trust first (usually by some sort of ridiculous "trial"). Ashti's mostly motivated by her urge to see as much of the world as she can for herself, but she doesn't mind stopping to just mess with a few people and laugh about it later.

Biography [Where are they from, what did they do in the past, tie in motivation]: Ashti grew up in a relatively unknown town, where her entire family worked on a small farm.
I'd prefer to do it myself, since I'm almost finished my post. :3
I usually don't roleplay female characters, but I'll make an exception for this one since there's too many males. :p I'll probably have a CS up soon (probably sometime tomorrow).
I'd love to give this a shot.~
I feel like writing, so I might add a little more to the personality section later. :p

Pure Name: Justice

Nickname: Alaric

Personality: "Justice", to Alaric is a very... loose term. He's most definitely the most tainted one out of the Pure, in terms of sympathy and compassion - his means of making ends meet is usually pretty dubious (although this's explained by the fact he believes justice is harsh). He'll always do the "right" thing without hesitation, though, but this also results in him just doing things blindly at times. If someone he considers to be higher than him in terms of moral righteousness tells him to kill someone, for example, he'll agree without a second thought.

Of course, being the embodiment of justice, he still tends to follow some sort of "honor" code and can be considered more naive in this respect. (Alaric also thinks of people in terms of "innocent" and "guilty" instead of "good" and "evil".) He also speaks rather awkwardly, though, which's most likely his attempt at being polite / possibly chivalrous.
