I edited it so that any ninja skilled in chakra control would be able to break the Red String of Fate. It's main use was going to be seeing through illusions and clones, but Ezo has enough other ways of handling simple tricks like that that I'd be fine with cutting it entirely (cut... string... yeah).

That's the case. I had the majority of the first IC post done yesterday, but then I fell asleep and my computer decided that it was a good time for an automatic update. Pissed doesn't even begin to cover my initial reaction. I restarted writing it already, so expect something by the end of the day.
