Name: Zain Varia

Appearance:

Minor History: Zain's family had very little, and it was up to him to make a future for himself. If he'd applied himself, he probably could have done just that legitimately, but he didn't. So he used his computer skills to hack into the roster for one of the top schools in the world and add his name. He showed up a week later with no one the wiser. Finally he had access to the types of education he wanted. Zain spent most of his time researching the End Armor systems, trying to understand the core mechanics of how they worked or how it was they were built. And right about then is when he tried to hack into Creed Salumin's database and found himself stopped by a firewall unlike anything he had encountered before. Not a day later, he was kind of presented with an ultimatum. He opted for the choice that didn't involve formal charges. They still won't let him use their computers, which is probably not the dumbest decision.

Personality: Zain is cool, calm, collected, and cocky. Sure, that last one is often deserved considering how 90% of the people he meets are idiots, but nonetheless, he know that he is overconfident. Most would peg Zain as someone who would plan out and analyze their opponent before acting, but it's really the other way around. Zain loves being in the midst of battle, losing the thinking part of his mind in the rush of instincts and actions. He goes a little bit berserk at times, not distinguishing friend from foe as he decimates anything in his reach. When not trying to act big or going crazy with bloodlust, Zain is probably half asleep. He tends to always be tired, frequently yawning and complaining about having to do any little thing.

Skills: Zain understands how machines work. He is able to hack like a pro, fix just about any electronic you can throw his way, and dismantle it just as easily.

Mech
Name: Azure
Energy Gun: A cannon-like blast from its forehead used more for the considerable knockback than the meager damage.
Energy Blade: Anchor-looking spear/sword/scythe/ax thingamajig (here's a better picture of the weapon).
Specialtie(s): Melee, specifically dealing with multiple enemies in close quarters.

Mech Ability: Protect Generator - Creates a bubble that stops all attacks and forces that lasts a maximum of 5 seconds. Only Azure is protected inside the bubble, so anything inside it at the time of activation is pushed back.
Drawbacks/Weakness: Very lightly armored to allow for more speed, which leaves it extremely vulnerable to being taken out from a distance.

RolePlayerRoxas said @Jay: Seems like it was accepted before, so I guess there wasn't any issues with the deck. The Fusions don't have materials listed, though. Any two/three Azures, I take it?

It was in a different RP, so they will need to be accpted for this one. Each RP has different standards.

The Azure fusion monsters aren't intended to actually be fusion summoned. That's really just placeholder for them to be summoned from the extra deck (kind of like those Neos that had to be summoned with NEX).

Edit: Not like it's going anywhere, so there isn't any rush on reviewing.

Okay then, here's my standard Yugioh character with his trademark Azure deck. He's a little bit rusty since the last RP he was in died before he got to use his deck.

Name: Ian Rouse

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Personality: Ian is cool, calm, and collected. Seriously, if his heartbeat was any slower somebody would have to take down time of death. He is almost impossible to get a reaction out of, barring the use of high voltage. He always seems to be sort of distant, detached from things, but even so he is usually in a mildly good mood. In a duel, he tends to look down on his opponents, even if they are winning, and when he loses he usually laughs as if he knows a joke that his opponent hasn’t seen. Odd as he is, Ian is the most loyal person you’ll ever meet. He would literally go to the ends of the Earth and back to protect a friend from being hurt. Speaking of hurt, Ian hates physical violence. He has a history of thrashing members of rival gangs that he sees using violence with his terrifying modified cattle prod. Hypocrite? For sure, but he doesn’t care.

Brief Bio: Ian doesn’t talk about his past, but from what others have been able to get out of him, he apparently ran away from a bad home. Whenever he gets close to the subject, he always looks like he’s in pain. His friends know that there are some things a person just doesn’t need to talk about, so they let him keep it to himself.

Though he was born and raised in the worst part of the slums, you wouldn’t be able to guess it from just looking at Ian or even talking to him. Ian is relaxed and patient and always willing to help out a friend in need, or even a stranger on occasion. He got himself into some… stuff a few years ago and was forced into joining the Silver Dragon gang, and it was the best thing that ever happened to him. Ian was shocked at how stupid all of the other members were; even the leader was an idiot. Ian beat them all in duels, and then beat a few that refused to concede with a modified cattle prod. Sure the gang only had ten members at the time, but it still seemed like a huge thing to him at the time. Yeah, those were fun times. The old gang leader, Cybell Yvenstar, and Ian have an unstable relationship, which the other gang members have oh so eloquently summed up in four simple words which they often yell at the rival leaders, which are: “Get a room already!”

Ian saw his spirit partner for the first time one day when he was walking around the more affluent districts of Anima City. It felt that Ian could see it, and it begged for him to rescue it. Within a week, Ian had taken the Azure cards for himself and left one rich card collector without riches or collection. You don’t fight back against a boy when he holds all your secrets you don’t want the world knowing in the palm of his hands, poised to be spread across the web with the press of a key.

Ian's reason for entering the tournament is quite benign actually; Azure Child saw a poster for it and begged Ian to enter. His spirit monster could feel that Ian really wanted to enter but wouldn't have on his own, so Azure Child didn't stop pestering him until he'd signed up. Ian's gang members are looking forward to seeing him wreck the competition and win it all.

Azure Child doesn’t see the cool, rough persona that Ian put up. As an empath, he sees Ian as he is on the inside, a kind boy scared of being hurt by others. Azure Child frequently reacts to things how Ian would react if he wasn’t acting all Joe Cool.

The Azure Archetype

The Azure are a race of empaths who each feel the pain of those around them and as such are all pacifists. But the sapphire tears of the Azure are incredibly valuable, and their world was decimated as attackers from across all of time and space forced them to shed their sapphire tears. Years and years of sorrow and fear have culminated in the birth of a small Azure newborn. Whether he will bring back the light of hope or destroy the world with pain is yet to be seen.

The Azure are all Water and Aqua with some exceptions. The Azure focus on banishing themselves to activate their abilities and then summoning themselves back to do it all again. The Azure are mostly impervious to spell cards, with notable exceptions. Their weakness is their miniscule attack of just 300 and the fact that they must remain in attack position or else be destroyed.

Field Spell
When an “Azure” monster in face-up attack position is attacked and destroyed by battle, you gain life points equal to the defense of the attacking monster. Cards sent to the graveyard are banished instead. This card’s name is treated as “Umi”.

Azure Compound Sorrow

You can target one “Azure” or “Tearstained” fusion monster in the Extra deck. If you selected an “Azure” monster, tribute “Azure” monsters from your side of the field whose total defense is equal to the defense of the selected fusion monster, and then special summon that monster from the extra deck. If you selected a Tearstained” monster, tribute “Azure” monsters from your side of the field whose total attack is equal to the attack of the selected fusion monster, and then special summon that monster from the extra deck. You gain life points equal to the tribute monsters’ combined attack.

Magi RP (IC)

Marid Baqai

Character: Marid Baqai

Age: 22

Gender: Male

Race: Goi

Flag: Kingdom of Artemyra

Appearance: A thin young man with dark violet, nearly black hair that covers both his eyes, which are yellow. He wears white underclothing underneath a cloak of black crow feathers. The cloak looks like the crow’s tail covers his back, and the wings wrap over his shoulders to cross over his chest, the wingtips going down to cover all the way to his knees. Marid’s hair is just long enough to blend into the top of his cloak. Coupled with the fact that his hair covers his eyes from view, this gives the appearance that he’s also wearing a hood.

Background: Marid is the thirteenth prince of the Kingdom of Artemyra. Like all Artemyrian princes, what he wanted to do with his life was up to him. So he went out and conquered a dungeon. Well, it wasn’t exactly that simple, he actually sat outside the entrance to the dungeon and watched the people that entered for almost a year before he went in himself. He took only food, his staff, and his trusted companion Doua.

Household Vessel (Djinn): In the 52nd Dungeon: Alloces, the djinn of astronomy and gravity; a Strength Djinn.

Household Members: None

Abilities:

Marid has a giant crow named Doua that is his most trusted friend. Doua is incredibly intelligent, and is even able to keep himself orientated and flying through Marid’s gravity wells.

Metal Vessel: Marid’s metal vessel is a staff topped by a crystal ball. Alloces’ power is to manipulate gravity. He can make object lighter or heavier, increase, decrease, null, or reverse gravity, and push or pull objects.

• Xifa Damm: Reorientates gravity to be another direction, either for himself or his target.

• Teel Damm: Blasts an object away with extreme force.

• Harak La-Damm: Stops all motion within an area, or restores gravity to normal.

Weapon Equip: Alloces’ weapon equip takes the form of a metal ball with a dagger-like hilt. The ball separates from the hilt, giving it much increased range. The ball remains in a line from where the hilt is pointed, but Marid controls how near or far. The metal ball hits with incredible force. The orb has an extreme gravitational pull, and it absorbs blood, using the metals in it to increase in size. The ball is far too hard to be smashed, but it is easily cut. Should it be cut, the pieces become smaller versions of the original, each with the same crushing power and pull as the original.

Full Body Equip: Many broken chains drape from and hang off Marid’s body, connected to golden circlets around his forehead, neck, waist, wrists, and ankles. The circlet around his forehead has a second, smaller circlet in the center that reveals the signature third eye present in most djinn equip, his being yellow.
“Duke of the starry sky, let me relieve you of your heavy burden,
use my Magoi and take shape, Alloces!"

Extreme Magic: La Damm: The magic circle fills with a black liquid, held up by some sort of surface tension. A single drop falls from the center, creating a black hole where it lands what sucks in everything beneath the circle.
"Carrier of the heavenly spheres, let some of that crushing weight fall and crush my enemies, Alloces!"

Not to go against the GM or anything, but a Magician cannot be a King Vessel or a Household Member. Also, I'm very interested and am making a character for #52 Alloces.
