Cosplay Gone Wrong

Speaking for myself, I think that'd be great! After all, conventions are funner with friends!
Speaking for Cameron, since he's only acquainted with a few others (who may or may not be characters here), I'm sure he could make new friends.

What about, we can start from a bit after the beginning of the convention, so everyone's already had some time to mingle and whatnot? Unless what you had in mind is different.

Blue Skies, Warm Winds, Dark Earth.

Berkley listened at the dragons' words with anticipation. She had put down the shaking egg she was cradling, watching as it - and everyone else's - hatched into a dragon. Several pieces of their shells grazed her skin after their 'explosion', some leaving trails of blood. The young girl didn't notice, though. Her full attention was on the mythical beasts in front of her, each standing proudly by their master. With eyes so wide they could have been holes to another dimension, Berkley stood frozen as her own dragon grew. Its scales appeared to be made of obsidian, with magma flowing between each piece. Its eyes were a fiery red, matching its whole body. Berkley could feel the heat emanating from it, threatening to burn everything it touched, but she was mesmerized by dragon.

Her trance was broken when Avalon roared once more. Everything and everyone around her was brought to the ground, barely able to support their weight. "I WILL ALSO GRANT YOU EACH A GIFT. A POWER IF YOU WILL. BE CAREFUL THOUGH, THEY HAVE REPERCUSSIONS FOR THEIR USE. GOOD LUCK. AND USE THEM WELL," echoed around the area.

Berkley didn't quite understand. She was about to question the great being before something happened. She didn't know exactly what happened, but she felt different. She could tell her friends were in the same boat, too. Before she could grasp the situation, Anthus spoke again, giving them instructions of some sort, only to be cut off - a large shadow had appeared nearby. Upon glancing at it, Berkley felt fear she never knew could exist. She grabbed at whoever was nearby, dropping her war hammer with a thunk that fell quiet when the dark aura spoke. She wasn't able to hold on to someone, as her actions were suddenly halted. Berkley had fully remembered her dream. She couldn't move. But instead of being mesmerized, she was utterly terrified. She could do nothing but look as a dragon skull shattered, as the shadow disappeared, as bits of the skull rained down on them.

Cameron is an airhead. He does things at his own pace, sometimes breaking rules if he finds them unnecessary. No one can seem to see him as the cause of any kind of trouble because of his idiotic smile. His is usually seen wearing a positive face, whether fake or not, and rarely explodes in anger. Though he is a simple person, he has learned to not react to insults or negative comments, instead laughing away his irritation. He has quite an impressive poker face, which he uses to his advantage when cosplaying, tending to get in character very easily. In addition, he respects hard work and frowns upon immoral acts. Which is a bit ironic, seeing that there are times he bends the rules.

-Short Bio-

Cameron, the middle child with two sisters, was often made fun of as a child for being an airhead. There was a time he would throw fits upon hearing it, but he soon "manned up" and smiled at anything and everything. He was introduced to the wonderful hobby of cosplaying by his older sister, who had used him as a wig model several times. He later accompanied her in conventions, taking an interest in the events. As soon as he was able to, Cameron began doing the same, throwing his outfit together from scratch. It took him years of practice to make anything decent, but it was great fun. While doing so, he also took drama classes, primarily for acting in character at conventions.
This was one of many conventions Cameron had attended. However, this time, his older sister was busy, leaving him alone in the con. He was acquainted with a few people who were also going, but decided to only approach them when the going got bad.

-Other-

A few notes on Inga.
Inga is a demon. He can transform into this busty lady. Since Cameron is only cosplaying as the young male form of Inga, he has the ability of transformable arms. Inga is very bubbly, energetic, child-like, and naïve. In relation to the anime, Inga is always 'hungry' for the truth behind a case, saying things like, "I can't hold it in any longer," which indicates his desire to transform into his female form, who is able to ask the perpetrator (and I think sometimes a victim?) one question that they must answer. This hunger and restlessness increases as he and his partner, Shinjuurou, get increasingly closer to solving the mystery. Once her question is answered, Inga satisfies her hunger by consuming 'the truth' and transforms back into a child.

With lots of energy, Yuu is a happy-go-lucky, carefree sort of girl. She finds happiness in being busy, never sitting down and doing nothing. She cares deeply for her friends, and although she doesn't always give the best advice, her intent is as pure as the driven snow. Yuu often jumps to conclusions, refusing to be corrected until given enough evidence. In addition, she will do anything you ask if her reward is food (particularly anything minty). She's a huge glutton, eating almost anything given to her. While she likes having a busy schedule, she also thrives from other people's joy. If someone's in despair, with a blink of the eye, she's doing her best to comfort them. If she has something someone desperately wants, she'll give it to them. Except for food, of course. All the food in the world is hers.

History:

Yuu was always surrounded by kindness. Her mother and father loved her dearly. Her friends were accepting of her. Her teachers praised her. Yuu, however, wasn't really aware of the affection she received. Or, more specifically, she had no interest in it. She merely wanted to do lots for the world and make everyone happy. Whatever resulted from that was just an extra thing. Yuu learned that helping others gave her a wonderful feeling inside at a young age. It was a small occurrence: giving her ice cream to a younger child who had dropped theirs. Seeing their smiling face made her even happier than they were. From then on, she vowed to live a life of making sure those around her were happy. She didn't particularly excel in certain skills and subjects, which didn't bother her in the least. As long as there was something for her to do, she was content. She was known as the 'helper girl' everywhere she went, and she found the nickname quite fitting.

Powers:

The power to create sweets: Yuu can turn any inanimate object into sweets and use them as projectiles. With more practice, she may learn how to preserve the taste. As it is now, they only take the appearance of sweets. If she turns anything edible into sweets, they have the same taste as before, though a bit sweeter. If it was bitter, it became somewhat sweeter. If it was salty, it became somewhat sweeter. etc, etc. As well, if Yuu were to find ingredients for certain types of sweets, she can create it easily, maintaining its taste.

I'm not sure if -> our characters know each other before they arrive at the hotel.

Highly likely that they don't know each other, though I might make exceptions. The pairs, however, will not know each other prior to their stay. So, you can perhaps be friends with one or two people, but they will not be who you are connected to.

Who will play the sins?

Whoops, guess I didn't explain this. No one really controls them. The person they 'curse' begin to reflect their attributes, and that's pretty much their role in the RP. (Person with lust starts having uncontrollable desires, person with sloth starts getting lazy, etc.) The whole 'game' thing is but a simple explanation as to why they spontaneously decided to curse people and (try to) make them fall in love. Maybe they're all watching from the underworld. The deadly sins as a being aren't that important, just what they are associated with.
