A human with the ability to channel magic and magnify someone’s abilities – the idea was absurd. Humans had ceased to exist from Aurion because they couldn’t handle the magic. Old as Deneva may be, she was still young enough to have never seen an actual human. Yet, she was like many of Aurion who preferred to take on a more humanoid appearance. It was the most popular form seen in the world, and for someone like Deneva it provided convenience and allowed her to blend in with other races.
Even with the belief that the prophecy was absurd; the blonde had still obeyed commands. This prophecy was the reason why she was here in this strange situation. Golden eyes glanced around the room watching as the image shimmered every now and then. It was subtle enough that the human probably wouldn’t notice it. And if there was one thing she learned, it was that humans overlooked and rationalized anything that did not fit into their perfect little world.
Her eyes trained back onto the human asleep on the couch. There was no telling how long he would be out. But perhaps that was a good thing. As long as he was unconscious, she wouldn’t have to answer questions. That was good. Crossing the room, she sat down on a chair that creaked with the added weight.

So before I make my first post - I want your input. In the plot intro I wrote it that the guy wakes up in a simple apartment. Now, knowing the appearance of Aurion this may mean that they are still on Earth. However, it could be Aurion if you want. Do you have an opinion of which world we shall start in?
The Prophecy

The planet Aurion exists parallel to Earth. It is a place that has been shaped and destroyed by magic. The inhabitants of this world are legendary, each race needing the ability to wield magic in order to survive. From the chaos caused by the magic, two individuals rose up above all the rest to claim the right of ruler. The power struggle between the two was fierce. And as the two fought each other, another individual ascended to stand beside them. And thus the Triad was created – splitting the world into three territories. The world has remained in relative peace since managing to grow and develop from the chaos of the magic, but currently that peace is on the brink of destruction. A prophecy has been made of a human man who is able to channel magic, able to magnify a magic user’s abilities. But humans have long since been extinct from Aurion, causing the Triad to turn their attention to another dimension.
Richard Cross is an inhabitant of present day Earth. He is a man who has found success in life, and is currently happy with how his life is going. However, such normality is soon shattered when one night he finds himself surrounded by a gang of hooded thugs. Strong though he may be, he finds himself out numbered and knocked unconscious. When he awakes, he finds himself not in a cage or some dark prison, but instead on the couch of a simple apartment. However, he isn’t alone. Not too far away sits a woman. While this strange woman may appear to be human – she is in fact a resident of Aurion, sent to protect this human man who is believed to be the one her people have prophesied about.
