I thought Styx but it sure if that's too cliche.
Ever so slowly the darkness edged away - leaving her with a feeling that she didn't experience too often. She could feel her body reconstruct itself, patching her back together. Adrenaline ran through her veins keeping the pain at bay for at least short while. Kristina blinked once and then again as the world came back into view. However, it was not a scene she would have expected.
She glanced around at the bedroom in which she resided. A hospital room she could expect, perhaps even the lab table at the morgue, and if she had been lucky she would have woken up on the streets where her heart had been stopped. The details of the attack were vague to her - and she had no desire to retrieve them in more detail. If shock or trauma would keep them at bay... well maybe she wouldn't have to recall the pain.
Still that didn't explain where she was. Sitting up, she ran her hand through her hair as she glanced at her blood that stained the cloth beneath her. Quietly she sat, feeling a bit better each second that ticked by. Swinging her feet off the bed, she moved to stand. However her legs weren't ready to support her weigh. In panic she reached for something and only managed to drag a lamp down with her. Kris swore as the noise echoed around her. So much for attempting to quietly leave.

Sounds like an excellent idea. In my mind I see the kingdom of Atlantis be underwater or on the coast or an island. Perhaps half submerged?
I'm thinking that the Jinns will occupy the role of Thieves Guild - if that's alright.
As for names of the King and Queen I was thinking something along the line of Edmund and Veronica. But that's only what I just pulled out of my head and can definitely be changed.

I believe it's time to let the roleplay begin as I do not have anything to add or ask. :)
Okay, still hashing out the details of my characters. But I thought we might also want to start hashing out more details of the world and maybe a simple plot to the roleplay.
Great! So when shall we start the roleplay? I'd suggest we start when he is strolling down the street and makes the discovery or we can start when it's discovered she's he healed.

Sanctuary
He is a creature of the night – something forgotten by humanity. He worries more about the politics of his people rather than the petty worries of mortals. However, something has begun to worry him. He is unsure of what it is, but it may disrupt his world.
One night, during just a normal stroll down the streets, he encounters a gruesome scene – the body of a human woman unfortunate enough to become some creature’s meal. As he’s about to leave, a noise draws him closer to the scene - close enough for him to realize that the human is still alive. While he doubts that she will live, he is compelled to help her. Taking her from the streets, he offers his home as a sanctuary.
He believes that if he cannot heal her, perhaps she will at least be able to die in peace. However, his worrying doesn’t amount to much, as in a matter of hours, the woman is awake and her wounds have healed. For while she may appear to be your average Jane, working at the local bakery and taking college courses on the side, she is far from “average”. The fact of the matter is that she is unable to stay dead. Perhaps the best explanation would be that her body possesses some sort of super healing ability – some mutation that occurred to make her a little less human. All she knows is that a bullet to the heart will keep her down for days at most – enough time to end up in the morgue but luckily not 6 feet under. But this time she’s not in a morgue, and her little secret of immortality just may rattle a world that has long been cloaked in darkness. Add cupid's arrow to the mix and all hell just might break loose.
