Bump! It would he super awesome if someone would like ti roleplay "Twist of Fate" with me. And I'm always open to hear any questions or twists you'd like to add to the plots.

So I've made my first post and now I'm off to work an evening shift. Be back in 4 ish hours.

They say that in the moments before your death, your life plays out before your eyes. They say that during death you see a light at the end of a tunnel, or you meet with a loved one that has passed on. But for Evelyn Kaiser, she had found that this was not the case. The moments before death were full of pain and regret.

She had left work in the evening to head to the local library to study. But the long project had caused her to lose track of time. Without a driver’s license and change on her person, she had been left with one option. The night stroll had started off pleasant. The streets had not been empty – in fact they were littered with groups looking for a party or some other form of amusement. The stars of the sky were just barely visible beyond the lights of the city, the moon only a fragment of the light which led her way. There was no sense of eminent danger, though in retrospective there probably should have been.

But it all happened so quickly. Shock had been her damnation – silencing her tongue as she was dragged into the alleyway. Teeth and claws tore into her flesh, her blood painting the walls. And then finally, a cloak of black fell over her.

But such solace did not last long. Pain - excruciating pain - called for her to return to the world that she knew. And above all, she could feel it. Evelyn could feel her body repairing itself ever so slowly. Her insides twisted and turned as they formed anew. A whimper escaped her lips, ever so quiet as she cursed the cruel hand of fate.

That is an excellent question. And as he is your character, he can be whatever type of creature you want. Typical vampire, werewolf, dragon, or anything you want. I'm quite open to anything that you feel fits for your character.

He is a creature of the night – something forgotten by humanity. He worries more about the politics of his people rather than the petty worries of mortals. However, something has begun to worry him. He is unsure of what it is, but it may disrupt his world.

One night, during just a normal stroll down the streets, he encounters a gruesome scene – the body of a human woman unfortunate enough to become some creature’s meal. As he’s about to leave, a noise draws him closer to the scene - close enough for him to realize that the human is still alive. While he doubts that she will live, he is compelled to help her. Taking her from the streets, he offers his home as a sanctuary.

He believes that if he cannot heal her, perhaps she will at least be able to die in peace. However, his worrying doesn’t amount to much, as in a matter of hours, the woman is awake and her wounds have healed. For while she may appear to be your average Jane, working at the local bakery and taking college courses on the side, she is far from “average”. The fact of the matter is that she is unable to stay dead. Perhaps the best explanation would be that her body possesses some sort of super healing ability – some mutation that occurred to make her a little less human. All she knows is that a bullet to the heart will keep her down for days at most – enough time to end up in the morgue but luckily not 6 feet under. But this time she’s not in a morgue, and her little secret of immortality just may rattle a world that has long been cloaked in darkness. Add cupid's arrow to the mix and all hell just might break loose.

Jealous here! This is my interest check that I'll update and change periodically. So don't be afraid of how many people have responded. If you like any ideas you see below, feel free to contact me. :)

First off, I'm looking for some roleplays that have drama, action, and romance, but let's keep things PG-13. I prefer to keep the romance MxF. I most often play female characters, but I also love to double up. (So any of these plots can be changed to accommodate this.) As for post length I'm shooting for casual with about a two paragraphs or more - I also try to match post length if possible. Also, feel free to bother me at any time as sometimes my writing muse takes longer than I want to come up with an idea, so sparking up a conversation with me may help me post at a slightly quicker pace. I would also prefer to roleplay through a normal thread on the forums as taking the roleplay to a private PM thread means that I usually lose the roleplay. However I love to chat about rp ideas over PM.

Now to the ideas - feel free to read the plots and then contact me (either here or in a PM) about which one you would prefer. I look forward to roleplaying with you - yes you - you awesome person.

Exiled – involves a prince, a thief, time travel, adventure [optional addition of an assassin and a young innocent maiden]

Plot

The Westlands had once been a peaceful kingdom. For thousands of years it had grown with prosperity. But such a utopia cannot last for long. As the years dragged by, greed grew in the hearts of those closest to the royal family. The queen's brother was one with such a heart. He conceived a plan of betrayal and deceit, for simply killing the king would not be enough to give him the throne - as his subjects would then most certainly rise up against him. No, he could not kill the old king just yet. That fateful night of his uncle's betrayal forever changed the young crown prince's life. Not only did he witness his mother's murder, but he was framed for the very act. Beloved by his people, they could not bring themselves to call for his execution, so the young prince was stripped of his title and exiled from his home.

Years have passed since then and the king has grown old and ill. With the king upon his deathbed, the kingdom believes that their next king will be late queen's brother. But with his last breath, the King announces a challenge. The one to find and return a legendary artifact, the Thief of Time, to the kingdom will be crowned king. Word of the challenge has spread far and wide as rogues to royals hunt for the legendary item. So it makes sense that such words have reached the exiled prince's ears. After all, he was raised on the stories of the Thief of Time - an object that is supposed to have come from the far future. He plans to take on the challenge in order to win back the kingdom that was stolen from him and to take his vengeance upon those that are responsible for his mother's death.

But the problem that none of the contestants foresee is that the Thief of Time is not a legendary artifact, but a young woman. She was raised in the High City, a desolate city in the air. It is a place where kindness doesn't survive. It is a place controlled by a notorious group called the Seven Sins. An orphan, like so many, she must figure out by herself how to survive. The best mercenaries and assassins come from the High City; it’s the only possible way to get out of the city and back to the ground below. She however turns to the path of a thief. But in a place so poor, the only things of value belong to the Seven Sins. However, to steal from the Seven Sins is punishable by death. But not all goes as planned and the Seven Sins newest execution machine malfunctions, sending the thief back into the past.

Two untrusting souls wound together in a strange destiny.

I will play the role of the Thief of Time.

Modified Plot for Doubling

(Read the normal plot for this is an expansion of the above)
In such a small town, not much happens. And this simplicity is about to drive her insane. A young maiden who is strong willed and dreams of adventure finds her opportunity when she witnesses a woman fall out of the sky. She is the first to meet this strange woman from the future. While she may find it difficult to believe the woman’s stories or to believe what she herself hat witnesses, she offers to help the thief find a way home.

However, not only is an exiled prince interesting in finding these two girls, but so is the crown prince’s uncle – the current Regent of the land. He has sent out an assassin to find the thief and kill anyone who gets in the way.

But what happens when love sparks in the most unlikely circumstances.

Character - Thief of Time

Phoenix / "Nix"

As a child of the High City, Phoenix has memories of her mother that are few and far between. For at a young age, she was abandoned, left on the streets as an orphan - a simple street rat. Instinct kept her alive, as did her skills of observation. She watched others, learned about what she had to do and what she shouldn't do on the streets. She learned to kill and protect her life. However, her greatest skill was theft. As she grew older, she interacted more with those around her - and eventually they gave her the name of Phoenix after she survived an incident that should have taken her life.
Nix, as she is most often called, aspires to one day visit the world below and live a life far more grander than the streets. And so she devised a plan, honed her skills, and eventually she made the Seven Sins her target. For while she could not fight her way down to the lower worlds, perhaps she could buy her way there. The first time in and out of the Capitol was a success. The second time, Nix was not blessed with such luck. It was not long before her execution was set. However, machines are finicky things for just one crossed wire might mean the difference between disintegration and time travel.

Character For Modified Plot - Assassin

As a child, he believed that he would grow up to follow in the footsteps of his parents and ancestors. For years the Fitzroys had been loyal servants to the royal family, preparing meals and making sure that the stone floors remained spotless for company. He learned from his father in the kitchens, working to clean the dishes that were dirtied by the abundance of food consumed at each meal. But what he loved most of all was watching the knights. And as a child he wondered if one day he'd ever be able to gain the privilege, honor, and respect that these men had.
His interest in the knights did not go unnoticed and his life changed the day the Queen's brother approached his parents. He showed signs of being a great warrior, that he would one day prove worthy of preserving the peace. With reluctance, his parents gave their approval and Gavin was taken away. But he was not to become a squire. For there was a different plan in mind - for he was taught to be an assassin - not an honorable knight. His allegiance is sworn to the current Regent and the brotherhood of assassins sworn to make the Regent king.

Flames of War – involves angels, demons, humans, and reincarnation

Plot

For an eternity, they have been enemies. Trying to stay one step ahead of the other, unraveling whatever deeds the other has done.

She was the leader of the Seraphim, standing just under God. She controlled the armies of Heaven and led the war against Hell.

He was the head demon, standing just under the Devil. He controlled the armies of Hell and led the war against Heaven.

Both with the goal to, not only, win the war, but to permanently destroy the other. During the last great battle, with sky and earth engulfed by flames, the two leaders engaged in combat. Overpowered by the strength and cunning of the demon, the angel sacrificed her own life in order to destroy the demon. At the loss of their leaders, both armies withdrew, retreating to their domains. It was only then that humans were able to flourish upon the planet’s surface.

Now, many long years later, the two leaders have been reincarnated as humans. Growing up miles apart, the two live unaware of each other. The demon is an heir to fame and fortune and has never had to really work for anything. The angel now lives a life of luxury built by thievery. And now fate is about to bring them together. At a conference they happen to meet, their personalities instantly clashing. But there is a spark there – a sense of knowing the other that draw them together. However, the war between Heaven and Hell is not over. And while they may not recall who they once were, they often dream of their past. And very soon, their former powers and abilities will return to them. It is then that they will need to take up arms once more and lead their armies into battle.

But what happens if hate turns to love and this former demon and former angel begin to fall for each other?

Innocence – involves a rock star, an heiress, and drama

Plot

She is an heiress. For the most part, she appears to be one of those delicate types, the one who giggled happily over flowers and butterflies while crying at the sight of any violence. However, the appearance of cute innocence can be deceiving. Beneath the facade is a girl with a rebellious soul, quick to anger and use to fighting as an excuse to solve any problem. Her parents have done very thing they can to try and contain their daughter. The violin lessons were a disaster, as well as the counseling.

But this world of chaos is interrupted when a famous rock star comes to town to scout out some talent for a new music video. He’s searching for something unique, a cute, innocent girl. He knows that it will add another dimension to his single, to express the feelings of forbidden love between someone so unclean and a perfect angel that must have just fallen from heaven. But this bad boy/rock star doesn’t know what he’s getting into when he spots the delicate girl with a harsh interior. He knows that she will be perfect for the role, but first he must convince her to take the role. And even if she does, what chaos will follow the two in the world of fame and music?

Heir to Steele Industries and the fortune that comes with it. But for her, such a fate is a cage. Any dreams she had of being an adventurer to an artist were struck down and replaced with more proper and etiquette lessons of what a young lady should do. She is now known for her quick anger and the fact that she would prefer to use her fists rather than her words. Her nights are spent away from her family, the bodyguards, and anyone who may recognize her as an heiress. On the streets she feels free, able to beat anyone who tries to oppose her. However, she knows that she is only biding her time. After all, her father will pay as much money as he can to keep her secret under wraps. And she knows that one day she'll end up as her father's pawn - ruling Steele Industries for that is her fate.

Prophecy – involves humans, magic, dragons, this world and another world

Plot

The planet Aurion exists parallel to Earth. It is a place that has been shaped and destroyed by magic. The inhabitants of this world are legendary, each race needing the ability to wield magic in order to survive. From the chaos caused by the magic, two individuals rose up above all the rest to claim the right of ruler. The power struggle between the two was fierce. And as the two fought each other, another individual ascended to stand beside them. And thus the Triad was created – splitting the world into three territories. The world has remained in relative peace since managing to grow and develop from the chaos of the magic, but currently that peace is on the brink of destruction. A prophecy has been made of a human man who is able to channel magic, able to magnify a magic user’s abilities. But humans have long since been extinct from Aurion, causing the Triad to turn their attention to another dimension.

{Your Character} is an inhabitant of present day Earth. He is a man who has found success in life, and is currently happy with how his life is going. However, such normality is soon shattered when one night he finds himself surrounded by a gang of hooded thugs. Strong though he may be, he finds himself out numbered and knocked unconscious. When he awakes, he finds himself not in a cage or some dark prison, but instead on the couch of a simple apartment. However, he isn’t alone. Not too far away sits a woman. While this strange woman may appear to be human – she is in fact a resident of Aurion, sent to protect this human man who is believed to be the one her people have prophesied about.

Plot

Under the cover of night, a war is waged between vampires and humans. As the years have progressed, the humans have developed weapons and strategies to counter the vampires’ speed and power. However, there are some vampires who prove to be more difficult to kill than others. One such vampire leads a clan called Chronos, and she has begun to turn the tables on this war. Elizabeth is her name, a vampire gifted with psychokinetic abilities which she has used to become infamous and slaughter any who oppose her.

But pride and treachery was her downfall – leading to an ambush of the Chronos stronghold. Unprepared for the ambush, the slayers slaughtered all of Chronos – leaving no survivors. But fate was not about to let such a powerful soul perish. With her body gone, Elizabeth’s soul found refuge in the body of an unborn child. And so she was raised as a human. Still, even as a human, she possesses all of her old memories, the mark of Chronos on her arm, and her strange psychokinetic powers that made her infamous as vampire. But unfortunately she finds that her powers are not as strong or as easy to control as a human – and for some unexplainable reason she is immune to a vampire’s bite.

Twenty-one years after her death as a vampire, she has resigned herself to living as a human. However, on her way home one night, she is attacked by a vampire. But not just any vampire – this vampire bares the mark of Chronos. When all seems lost and that she’s about to become this vampire’s lunch, she is suddenly saved by a man who slays the vampire. Instead of just vanishing into the night like any usual vampire hunter, the man decides to stick around – probably because the girl doesn’t seem entirely human. And while she would prefer to not get involved, the return of Chronos may lead to her teaming up with the people she despises most.

But in her absence, the hunters ambush the stronghold – defeating and destroying the very leader of Chronos. With her clan destroyed, she has no choice but to seek refuge with some other clan and wait for the return of her dear friend. And when the time comes, they can reform Chronos and have their vengeance. While Elizabeth’s body may be gone, her soul lives on.

Desperate for new life, Elizabeth’s soul found refugee in the body of an unborn child. And so she was raised as a human. Still, even as a human, she possesses all of her old memories, the mark of Chronos on her arm, and her strange psychokinetic powers that made her infamous as vampire. But unfortunately she finds that her powers are not as strong or as easy to control as a human – and for some unexplainable reason she is immune to a vampire’s bite.

Twenty-one years after the destruction of Chronos, Elizabeth has resigned herself to living as a human. However, on her way home one night, she is attacked by a vampire. But before she becomes this vampire’s lunch, she is saved by her old friend. The friends have only a small moment to rejoice in their reunion, as two hunters show up – given the task to not kill the two women but to capture them alive.

I will take on the role of Elizabeth and one of the vampire hunters.
