Back story: Born to a wealthy family, Kaku’s childhood life was easy sailing. Though most children from such a high class house tend to be pompous and greedy to unfathomable extents, the boy acts in the complete opposite manner. Even though he received whatever he wanted when he asked for it, he soon learned self-discipline and rationality, choosing to not spoil himself. He ended up adapting a reserved personality, rarely bringing up his family’s social standing into conversations. Feeling that his name gave him an unfair leverage, Kaku found himself caring more about others’ lives than his own.

Since his father was the boss of a firm, dubbed after their last name, Kaku would naturally succeed him. The boy had no say nor disagreement to the notion, and began to take his studies with abnormal seriousness, even starting off back in elementary school. But the boy soon found things to fill his free time. Anime and manga became some of his hobbies, as he found the artists’ determination motivating. Striving to assert himself as the head of his family’s corporation, he first had to learn how to support himself before governing a company. Kaku picked up a part-time job to coincide with his studies at Todai University, along with attending seminars unaffiliated with the school. He also ended up fancying writing, as he personally believed that he must appear as stable in paper as he does in appearance.
Char's name is gonna be... Kaku. Should be up once I get home. Which'll be in an hour.
Gonna write up my CS during after school. It's Friday, so that means no HW~ Prepare for the kuudere!
Morning all~ Timeskip will be this afternoon, probably around 3-ish. Not sure if I have early dismissal or not, but eh, we'll see.
    Ironing out the Kinks:

The vice headmistress stretched her free arm behind her back, waiting until she felt the appealing feeling of the pop. ”So, why are we doing these errands? Shouldn’t we be back in the office, filling out some papers?” She asked as she craned her neck towards the cane she supported herself with. Though she wasn’t physically impaired by the slightest, she had gotten used to walking with the supportive tool. To the point where she finds it uncomfortable to walk on her own two legs. ”You know as well as I do that ‘filling out papers’ is codeword for ‘making some sweet lo-’ The woman clicked her tongue and tossed the cane upwards. Once gravity played its role, she caught the grey utility around its bottom. Facing the curve towards the snow, she shoved it and the gem into the freezing substance. She ruthlessly ignored the muffled cries as she dragged the cane through the snow white fluff, ”I’ll give you some breathing room once we get there.” She notified her partner as the proceeded to their destination.

When they arrived at the scene, there were already multiple students shooting stares at the duo of fighters. Students in arms, as they would be dubbed. The vice headmistress raised the gem out of the snow, followed by an over-dramatic gasp for useless air, ”I thought I was going to freeze to death! Even though I can’t feel, I still thought I would! I’m gonna have a cold now. Eh, screw it, I’ll just call for a random chef to bring up a cup of hot cocoa, after this is dealt with. Speaking of to-be underpaid swines…" The headmaster trailed off, fixating himself towards the students deep in combat. "JoJo! You're just in time. I was looking for a pussy to pound.” The VHM got into a combat stance, ready to intervene before things got hairy. ”WAIT… I want to see how original these kids are. I mean, if they come up with some good material, I won’t totally annihilate their souls.” The assistant rolled her eyes, flipping back a portion of her hair as they watched from the sidelines.

“Still as cocky as always… This time you don’t have the element of surprise, Freakshow.”

"Freakshow? Seriously? You’re fighting a student in the same grade, and that’s the best you can come up with to justify yourself? She’s a damn dragon! Call her something elaborate, like… scaley-face, or taco-breath… gecko-girl, jeeze, I don’t know.” The elder had to stop himself from breaking into a rant about Joseph’s horrible excuse for verbal abuse. ”Hey, look at his stance, you don’t think…?”

Already seeing the tact before it was employed, the two watched as Joseph suddenly went on the offensive, a style he did no frequent. Dagny, without enough time to react, was planted straight in the face by the fist. ”Oh. Shit. He just punched her. Alright, let’s see how Dagny reacts, then we can intervene.” After a short recovery, the dragon-girl balled her first and went for a lower attack. ”Well, I’m not to fond of carrying Joseph’s arse to the infirmary. And by me, I mean you of course, dearest. Let’s step in already.” The woman nodded, with a somewhat irritated look at her partner’s sly comment. The two sprung into action, leaping forward while readying the cane.

”OI! IKEA - Dragon Collection and Western-Coast-No-More, if a feline is to be pounded, it is that of my wi-” Rather than tapping the students with the flattened side of the cane, the VHM instead faced the gem inwards, lightly striking the students with the embodiment of the headmaster. Though it was only the tip of the cane, and now the face of the gem, coming in contact with the students- they were propelled back a meter and a half.

”Ms. Ek and and Mr. Conrad, please refrain from brawling unofficially, or face reprimanding.” She stared daggers at both of them, keeping their distance in mind. They were both experienced fighters, and easily brushed off the mere blows. ”WOMAN! YOU JUST SLAMMED ME INTO THEIR STOMACHS. I DON’T WANT FLESHBAG OILS ON ME. S-s-s-orry. My mother’s influence was showing a bit. Damn, even after reincarnation, does she still haunt me.” He sighed, causing the gem to dim the brighten up again, ”It’s getting a bit late, how about we call it off for a day? Subject to my ruling, and I’ll dorm you both together. Even after you graduate, I will force you two to be forever intertwined in eachother’s daily lives. Also, you nearly made a student shard himself. At least, that’s what the complaint said, right hun?” The woman replied with a quick nod, followed by a hand straightening her hair. ”Oh. This year, you both better be to homeroom on time. Otherwise you get to sleep in the orcs’ new fort.” With that last remark, the vice headmistress bowed, ”Have a good day.” They then walked off.

”So… Shall we get to filling out those documents, if you know what I mean- I’M SORRY DON’T-” Before the gem could plead for his existence, the cane had already been flung off far ahead.

    Truths and Secrets:

Varren reclined in his seat as Lilith took a sip from her beverage. As the girl found refuge in its unique flavor, in turn the boy smiled, knowing full well his efforts weren’t in vain. After only one sip did she start to look around, in a similar manner as Varren earlier, during his time alone at the table. She quickly returned her attention to her friend, or at least the boy presumed for them to be on such terms, and perked up as she raised her eyes to face him.

"Um... do you know who any of the other first years are?"

The boy leaned forward and reached for his coffee cup, finding solace in its bitter taste. It only took him a few seconds to come up with a response. ”No, sorry, can’t say I do. I’m not too… outgoing of a person. Along with that, I’ve been split between conversing with my father, looking over diagrams, critiquing projects. A plethora of stuff to really just kill the time, which I don’t have the slightest idea of how to fill. Being the heir to a weapons manufacturing corporation isn’t cut out for what it’s supposed to be.” Thinking back to the two physically augmented humans from earlier, who also appeared to be new at the academy, ”Well, I don’t know who they are, but I might know what are.” He thought to himself as he glanced back down at his company. He made a slight shrug with his shoulders before placing his lips around the rim of the cup again.

”Oh, I have to pick out my room soon! Gotta get set up and everything~! Have to install the coffee machine, the workspace, the ammunition storage.” The boy quickly returned to his exuberant way of speaking, as if the stern personality never existed. Yinyues was still unable to tell what species Lilith was. Though he could think of ways to ease the conversation in that direction, he felt like it was imposing on one’s privacy. ”Getting kind of late out… The boy commented as he glanced out the window. Since it was winter, the majority of the sun had already sunk behind the horizon. Soon the temperature would drop, making it unbearably cold for any attendee left outside. ”Gah… It’s gonna be so fweeeeezing.” He complained, holding his hands onto his arms.
Go for a post. You'll be able to accomplish a bit before I get home and bring myself to skip. But my first post will contain stuff from both Varren's and the HMs perspectives, and will not include a timeskip. The 2nd one will revolve around the next day, and will start after the students have already arrived at their classes. But, the cast should write their wake-up procedure, proceeding to class and their observations as they sit down in their new homerooms.
Expect a timeskip in roughly 3-5 hours. I'd like to get the classes situated n' stuff. Keep up the good posts!

So... I guess Ark flew back into the doorway of the main hall, and went all feely feely?
Feel free to make it without me. I will have a post up later today, sorry for the wait. Yesterday was a busy day, >.>

    ER MAH GERD GORILLAZ
Good posts everybody. Gonna log off for the night. Expect a timeskip to the next day later tomorrow, no specified time as of yet. Good night, and happy posting!

Varren had watched it all. The bird taking the hit straight to the cabin, leaving the passengers to gravity’s will, everything happened in a split second before his eyes. In the short amount of time he had chosen to close them, the transport had wound crashed into a dense forest. A trail of flattened snow laid in the helicopter’s wake, accompanied by a few crushed trees and a cloud of smoke ascending from the engines. The boy groaned in pain as he woke up, he stretched out his arms in hopes that it would ease the stress. Though his mind was too foggy to control his body, and he ended up leaning out of the opened bay. Falling shoulder-first into the snow, he let out a cry of pain, grabbing his lower leg which bursted with an uncontrallably burning sensation. ”Ow, ow, ow, ow.” He complained in a hoarse voice, coughing out the impurities in his lungs, along with incessant hacking. The student tried his best to hold back tears as he pushed himself out of the cold substance, propping his back against the exterior of the helicopter. He took in short breaths and found it quite the task to circulate oxygen through his lungs. ”Painkillers… I need them.” He managed to groan out, unable to operate his body with such a fuzzy mind.

Varren raised his hand to the strap fastened around his shoulder. He pulled at the cloth and rested the small backpack on his lap. With narrowed eyes the student searched through the bag, pushing unneeded resources to the side until he found the base grade pills. His vision was too blurred to read the dosage, the boy ended up tapping two pills out of the bottle. It was a struggle to swallow them with a liquid lubricant, his throat felt even more dry than before. But, at least the pain was minute compared to a few moments ago. He glanced back into the bay and ran his arm across the floor of the heli, finally wrapping his fingers around his K30. Despite the still throbbing pain, he dragged the rifle out of the bird and pulled back on the charging bolt. After surmounting the strength to stand up, he lethargically rose and let out another set of gripes, ”What happened…?” Something caught his attention out of the corner of his eye. The cyanic-colored cuffs of a pants leg, next to the tail of the helicopter. Blown by the faint gusts of wind, the remainder of the body rested on the other side of the exterior. ”I’ll check on this one first, then I’ll help out those inside of the Eagle.” He hopefully thought to himself as he limped over to the end of the helicopter, stopping before the pair of shoes, ”Are you alright? We have to continue with our mission, don’t want the other teams to fight them on their ow-”

The words froze in his throat, stuck to the interior of his larynx. He was unable to muster or conjure the rest of his statement, as he was left speechless by the sight before him. The eyes which stared at him blankly, never to blink again. The uniform which was torn and desecrated. The pale hands which were dug into the blanket of snow. Varren stood there with his mouth agape, finally managing to push some form of a sound out.

    Today:

Varren failed to hold back a yawn, cuffing a hand over his mouth as he let the sound roll off of his tongue. ”Man, I’m tireeeeeeed.” The boy pouted with a frown sinking on his face. He took another sip of the beverage, allowing the effects of the coffee to take action at a subtle rate. Out of boredom, he began to skim through the weapon designs his father had sent him, noting any faults he spotted whilst doing so. He kept a somewhat not so thrilled expression on his face as he moved from one blueprint to another, ”So these are what buyers are into nowadays? Gah, the market is too damn conformative. Needs some diversity.” He thought critically, knowing that his critiquing would not be taken seriously for a while. Not until he acquired a certification, had a meritable background, and inherited the family name and its business. Finishing up the analysis of the last diagram, he composed his notes and exported them to his father. Glancing up from his wrist-device, he stared longingly at the empty seats surrounding him. With glimpses of the people around him, Varren fully realized one of the struggles of a first year; Finding devoted friends. Or, any socially worthy individuals in general, for that matter. The students sitting at the table nearby looked more experienced, battle-hardened, as if they’ve already had the succulent taste of combat. He let out a sigh, deep in thought of his own capabilities, ”...Hey, can I grow stronger as well?” Yinyues muttered in a hushed voice.

The student sighed as he returned his gaze to the seat opposite of his, which was now filled by a familiar individual. The boy smiled happily, ”Hey Lilith! What’d you think of the opening ceremony? I didn’t expect the headmaster to have such a character. I was expecting something more… laid back and formal.” He had to restrain himself from bombarding the girl with questions and opinions. Though it was easy to tell that it was an arduous task to hide such overflowing ebullience. He analyzed her facial complexion with the assistance of the now brighter lighting. Varren finally noticed the fatigue in her eyes and instantly took action. ”Be right back.”

The boy was gone and back in a flash, with a steamy cup of coffee in hand. ”Erm, I added some cream and a pinch of sugar, just in case you aren’t used to the stuff. Wouldn’t want you to have a kidney failure by ingesting pure coffee, eh~?” The boy joked as he leaned forward over the table, placing the drink in front of her. Quickly taking into account that his scarf had almost fallen into her beverage, his hands flew to the edges and tightened it, ending in him sighing out of relief. The boy looked like he just dodged a life-threatening incident, he chuckled and sat back down in his seat. ”She looks like a normal human. Can’t pinpoint anything as of yet. She hasn’t completely smiled, so elongated canines could be a possibility.” Nowadays, a book could not be judged by its cover, sometimes it was unable to even be perceived by its internal contents. One deduction or hypothesis could be completely wrong until proven otherwise. He tipped back his own cup and took another gulp of the ground colored drink, ”Well, I hope this year will be a good one…”
