Hmm...so animals wear clothing, eh?

Why wouldn't they? It would probably vary from species to species about whether nudity is taboo, but it's protection from the elements and possibly in battle, a sign your civilized, and in some cases that you have money.
Seafaring is a natural part of expansion; maybe just put the island in the middle of the ocean with closest land thousands of kilometers away so people can sail around the island and its lakes but not anywhere else.
Name: General Eciton Maximus
Age: 30
Gender: Male
Species: Army ant
Personality: A ruthless leader who believes that army ants are destined to rule the world, with other species of hive insects below them and other animals working as slaves. Eciton feels that other animals, unorganized as they are, are unworthy to live in the rule of the army ants and that they are blessed to even work as slave labor. He cuts down any his way without a second thought and is willing to sacrifice millions for the sake of the hive. However, this same personality quickly distances him from any who are not part of his species.
Appearance: Picture this, http://myrmecos.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/Eciton_Soldier.jpg, picture it bipedal, then picture it with a suit and top hat on. Then picture it on all sixes again.
Strengths: An expert strategist, willing to make any sacrifice.
Weaknesses: Physically weak, completely uncharismatic to non-army ants.
Description: As a young army ant, he underwent physical testing and mental testing like any other non-queen of his species. However it was found that he was much weaker than the average trooper and couldn't move nearly as fast. Almost as if nature was making up for that, he was brilliant at the mental tests and would clearly make a great leader. As he underwent training for his new position, he grew proud of himself and his species as this was a time of great expansion for them and put them on the map of the powerful nations in South America.
Just as his elders predicted, the skirmishes he led went quite well. He quickly rose through the ranks to where he is now, and is already regarded as possibly the best general of the army ants. He hopes to take over the rest of the small fiefdoms of the other animals in South America, but such a thing is quite difficult for even the army ants because it's difficult to hold that much territory especially if the animals fighting now formed an alliance to stop army ant expansion.
I call dibs on that patch of forest in the southwest then. And maybe a perk for seafaring, better quality rafts and such, for three points could be good. And another two point one for fishing that allows fishing rods instead of just spear fishing.
Rumiko, you're going to have to edit your post. You have enough power for about one of those things. Each turn you power is replenished, but per turn you have an loose limit to how much you can do. And you cannot decide the outcomes of your actions, that's what I do. I'm going to put up some rules now because I should have made it clearer on how things work.
http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/25728/posts/ic I have decided to put up the actually game now, feel free to get started right away or wait a bit to see how everything works and ask questions.
In the beginning, there was One. This being created the universe, the galaxy, the sun, the water, everything. He created life, he created death. When He felt he was done, He went to sleep. But more came after him. None were as strong, not by far. But they still had strength. And they wanted more. Much more.

In this game, you play as a god in Greece. You can be the god of whatever you want, as long as it's not absurd like a flying spaghetti monster. In this game, you can form a pantheon with others, be the One True God, go on crusades against the One True God because you're the Real One True God, just build up a following, whatever. Your ultimate goal though is to get all people on the planet earth to worship you and to ascend to a state higher than Godhood, but however you reach that point is up to you.

At this point in time, all area outside of Greece is blocked. If you were to try to go through it, you would sense your power fade away until you cannot affect anything.

Since your character is constantly changing through the events that happen in the game, you don't have a regular CS. Instead you will just put your characters name at the top of your post and I'll put your follower count on my post, as well as any new abilities you have gained.

If you have any questions, ask. You have the power of a poltergeist until I say otherwise.

Rules
1. You cannot decide the outcomes of your actions.
2. You cannot control other Gods or make them meet with you, unless you have their permission to do so.
3. You have a set amount of power, and it directly corresponds to how many people are following you. If you try to go over that limit I'll make it so you just fail at the end of the turn.

Hi, you never answered my question.

Sure. Your allowed to be the god(des) of whatever you want, as long as it's not absurd. No flying spaghetti monsters or invisible pink unicorns, but that's just about the only limitation on what you can be. Plan smart though, since once you get set as the god(des) of something it can be difficult to expand into other areas.
