Hoshit I thought I was the last to reply to the IC. And I thought I bookmarked this. Nope.

I'll get that post up now. Now as in, two seconds. I wrote it ages ago and saved it in Word, I just thought I threw it in already. \ all the fails.

Edit: And posted. Deredere-side of yandere is a go. ovo

Copypasting my old CS here.
Awesome, one new player already! Welcome to the crew. /says the person with only one IC post
@Draexzhan: Never read the webcomic, need to take a look at it now. I've been in need of good new web comics to read after reading all of my current ones and having to always wait for updates. And yeh, writing him will be fun, especially when they get into actual battling, since he'll know squat about what he's doing.

@Sparx: Heh, as someone who's had a Staraptor as a staple of any given competitive team since the generation it came out, I know firsthand how much that thing can kick ass BP It's also the star of my mono-flying team. Sigur doesn't know that though, poor boi. He will learn the error of his ways
I know Sigur's SU said he preferred badass Pokémon, and he does and will refuse to catch anything else, but I figured it'd be fun to give him such a contradicting Pokémon because hey, why not. Torturing your characters is fun.
The scientist guy hadn't yet answered (and quite possibly, not even noticed his presence or question from all the ruckus around them), when a yet another soul joined their not-so-merry group of trainer wannabes. Sigur didn't really pay much attention to him or his arrival before the guy addressed him, all smiles and patience, and told him they should just take it easy since they just got here. He snorted, turning around to face the newcomer with a cock of his head.

"S'cuse me, but it's you who just got here," he corrected, half annoyed and wanting to get back at the guy, half just talking shit because he was bored. And, hey, the guy was too laid back for his liking. Might as well try and see if he could get the dude riled up or taking part in a battle of wits. At least he'd have something to do while waiting, then. "The bunch of us who actually were here on time have been waiting for a good ten minutes or more for this guy to get his ass in gear."

Just then, right as Sigur finished talking and pointed a thumb at the man in question, when the guy suddenly got to doing his job and leading the assorted bunch up a hill. A bit taken aback, Sigur blinked after the man once, gaze slowly turning to look at the thumb he'd used to point. Wow. He had some freak powers in there.

Shrugging, he walked off to follow suit after the others, not sure if the guy he'd talked to earlier had answered or even heard him.
Some minutes later, everyone was crammed inside a dusty ol' Pokémon lab, waiting around while the professor fetched their starters or what have you. Sigur had his hands in his pockets and was sifting his weight from leg to leg every now and again, impatient and bored. He didn't particularly look forward to the adventure, but he did want to get out of the lab. It was suffocating, just like the ship had been.

And then the guy returned, with a huge variety of Pokémon in tow. Sigur raised a brow in surprise. Wow, now that was certainly now what he'd expected. That was kinda impressive, actually.

The first one to pick out their critter for the go was the pink, foreign homo. He grabbed, out of all the things possible, a freaking Cleffa and then proceeded to almost squish to death. Yeah. Great. This sure was a promising bunch of trainers alright. The guy exclaimed something about being a star, and Sigur couldn't help but let out a dry laugh at that.

The next traineer chose a Starly - because hey, who wouldn't want to carry around a small bird to shit all over your clothes all the time? And the one after that went with a Honedge, giving Sigur reason to steer clear out of her way. The sword was freaky, and Sigur couldn't get why the girl was so happy to own a cursed piece of metal. Eh. Women. Next someone chose a Beldum, and unlike the others before him, didn't get all hyped over it or launch into a giggly-rant. Well, at least someone was sensible.

Sigur looked around, realizing he was next in line. Eh, fine then, might as well. He took a lazy step closer, scratching the back of his head and grumbling to himself.

"Guess it's my turn then," he mumbled as he reached to grab the first ball he saw. He didn't particularly care what he got - wasn't like he was going to be friends with the thing anyway.

"Taking this," he stated simply a he swept the random ball from the table, tossing it in the air once as he walked away from the line and the other trainers. He turned the pokeball around in his hands once he was far enough, and then tossed it carelessly in the air.

In a flash of light, the ball opened and a small creature took form on the ground in front of him. Sigur leaned forward, just a tad curious despite himself.

And in a second, in front of him stood a...

"..."

"Iggly!" The Pokémon exclaimed happily, nuzzling against her trainer's leg. Sigur merely stood and stared, his expression indescribable, before he spun around in a flash and shouted.

"Yo, hey, prof! Is... is switching Pokémon possible?" As he spoke, he shook his leg to try and make the Igglypufff let go. "By. Any... chance?"
I'm fine with either, but a reboot might be easier? Either way, I'll probably use the same opening post I did for this one (minus the third day, of course).
Alright Ontos, a bit delayed but there's a reply for ye 8D
Hitomi barely had time to recover from the previous onslaught of meeting new people, when yet another few found their way downstairs. The first one to arrive was a boy most likely older than them, introducing himself in clear enough English to make Hitomi doubt his heritage for a moment - but only for a moment, as he soon continued to call for someone in Japanese. But, wait, SEES? Had she joined something like that? What was that a shorthand for...? If it had something to do with the student committee, she must have joined by accident. She hardly needed to be part of anything that would force authority upon her. She was definitely not an authority figure in any meaning of the word, and couldn't see herself working well with people who were - like this Kirijo person. Wait... Kirijo, wasn't that-?

She didn't have much more time to dwell on that, when the student Kirijo had called for arrived and instructed them to follow. He did it Japanese though, so Hitomi couldn't help but glance at the foreign student she'd just met to make sure he had understood as well. He had. Good. Now she wouldn't have to speak.

On their way up the stairs, they met a yet another student, this one seemingly as meek and timid - but far more blushy - than Hitomi herself. She regarded her with silent disdain. She didn't like herself being shy and weak, and it wasn't a trait she valued in others either. It always made her remember what she must have come across to others. So, offering her a small smile and a nod she wasn't sure the other girl caught, Hitomi rushed past her upstairs. As she did though, she couldn't help but catch bits and pieces of the awkward conversation that followed between her and the foreign student. She apparently wasn't that good at English... but she tried. She was brave. And he... uh, well. His pronunciation needed work, definitely, and his politeness levels were all over the place. Not that it was surprising from a foreigner. Still, he tried too. She didn't want to speak even in her mother tongue. She was... pathetic.

Hitomi hastened her steps and burrowed her gaze deeper into the game she was playing.

-

All too soon, Hitomi found herself standing in the middle of the third floor, accompanied by nobody but the blonde girl she'd met moments prior. The upperclassman had instructed them to decide who got what room, an act Hitomi was very bitter over. He could have... a-at least assigned them one. Now she would need to talk to someone to figure out which door to claim. She didn't want to just be rude and pick one by herself. But this girl, she... was just a bit intimidating.

In her panic and indecisiveness, Hitomi just slumped down on her suitcase and continued her game. Maybe if... if she finished another route real fast, she would get enough self-confidence to try and ask her about which room she wanted. Maybe. Probably not. But at least she'd feel a little less awkward if she did something, as opposed to standing there like a fool.

Before she could so much as begin to immerse herself in the game world however, she heard the other speak, her voice shattering whatever calm Hitomi had managed to form in her mind. She flinched, mind cold and chest burning from anxiety. Oh. Oh no. She... she talked to her, and she didn't even ask about the rooms! Ah, o-okay, what did she say now? Weather, yes, uh...

Hitomi peeked up from underneath her bangs, trying to see a window. She couldn't, her hair was in the way. She didn't want to brush it away, though. She didn't want to move. The other girl wasn't even looking at her, and her tone of voice was anything but friendly. Part of her was scared, and part of her angry. Why was she even talking, when she clearly didn't care for an answer?

No, don't think like that. Be... be polite.

"Yes..." she peeped out, her own gaze not directed at the other girl, either. Her PSP looked safer to lay her eyes on. "It... it's warm. I would prefer the rain though." Realizing that might come off as either rude, negative or both, she quickly stammered to correct herself: "Um, I... I mean, rain is refreshing. It gives life to things. Like, like flowers. Flowers are... pretty..."

She had no idea where she was going with this at this point, so before she got the topic too far from what she really wanted to ask, she drew in a breath and added, seemingly out of nowhere: "Either room is fine with me!"
She would beg to differ though 8P
