Interest Check

Okay so as you can tell, this is a post-apocalyptic scenario. If you haven't read the description in the interest check yet, go read it. The link is above. Just a few important details: the toxic haze contains the ToGo virus, which causes people to turn into zombies. Characters will need gas masks to safely navigate the haze, which rises to about 40 feet high - up above that (rooftops, elevated roadways, etc.) is safe to breathe without needing proper ventilation. If characters breathe in the fumes from the haze, they will become infected and turn (within 12 hours). Infection can also be spread through bites/scratches from a zombie (1-4 hours to turn into zombie) and by consuming contaminated food/water (6-12 hours to turn). As in the description, daytime temperatures are in the 90s and nighttime temperatures are freezing. Characters will succumb to these extreme climate changes if they do not take measures to avoid/survive them. Have fun!!

- No God-Mode. You are human. You can get sick. You can become infected. You can die.
- Likewise, be realistic with your posts. Your character will get cold, hot, hungry and thirsty. Your character will get hurt from time to time. Your character will get tired.
- No One-line posts. Please write at least 1 paragraph (4-6 sentences) per post.
- No OOC bursts in the IC. If you have an issue, PM me about it or handle it here, in the OOC.
- If you're going to leave the RP, please don't leave your character hanging. Either kill them off or let them get infected so someone else can kill them off.
- Be creative and have fun.

Yes welcome! The toxic haze is just on Manhattan Island but the infection has been spread beyond that, due to the infected slipping through checkpoints and reaching shoreside before the military could quarantine the island. Therefore, the infection is spreading worldwide as this RP takes place.

Anyways, sorry I've been lagging. I'm working on the OOC now and will have it up in about an hour.

Okay. Edited my character sheets. Picked "survival" as a skill. That includes things like: how to make fire, how to purify water, how to make shelter, how to "MacGyver" things into something useful.. I hope that's okay.

As for the world, are there going to be Fireflys? Also, will there be the four different stages of zombie infections like in the game?
