The Fall of Jerusalem

I follow the rule of: two days with no posts and no responses or two-three posts in between. It's not a posting order per se but it does spread things out.

Guardians

I have some elements of a story but I want to leave the 'ending' a little open-ended. It's more of... I have planned developments and revelations which will lead us to an ending.

I'll leave this for tonight and then put up the OOC/IC tomorrow.

They would work but not as effectively as they would against, say, humans because even basic technology is made less effective in the presence of Twilight Beasts. Just about the only thing beyond crossbows that's effective is very long range artillery and even the shells from those artillery will degrade.

Anything manufactured by modern means is also less effective. e.g. A sword created by factory means would be less effective, and prone to damage/shattering, than a sword smithed in the traditional fashion.

Guardians

Mostly to electricity. Older technology would be more effective but bladed weapons (including arrows and crossbow bolts) have the most effect on the creatures. They have no vital organs so it's about the damage they sustain rather than where the damage is dealt.

Clockwork weapons and technology is the new interest since they remain completely immune to the strange effect of the presence of Twilight Beasts.

Rhiannon stepped nervously away from the elderly man, wielding a stave and all divine fury as if he were a prophet; he certainly looked like one. The offering of apology relaxed her although his assertion that something differed about her made the anxiety return and she looked around to see if anyone was close enough to hear.

"Please, sir, I'm here on Pilgrimage. The Father at my village issued me this Pilgrimage as he fears I may be... possessed by an evil spirit. It gives my voice a siren's powers if I will it and I've never hurt anyone but if he says it is evil I must exorcise it. Please don't tell anyone though, they would burn me as a witch." Speaking in fluent Latin, taught to her by the Father who disapproved of the Bard's teaching, she continued to look around nervously, prayer beads clutched between her shaking hands again. She had noticed the large man's eagerness to stay away from the Prophet-like man but drew no attention to it, she knew all to well the necessity of keeping a secret.

"I pray at the feet of a different saint every day from Matins until Nones to cleanse myself of the spirit." She continued her explanation, eyes glancing around them or for her parents; her father in particular was growing tired of this Pilgrimage and she sensed a growing animosity from him, perhaps he would tie her to a stake himself if this continued.

Ah yes, History GCSE, I remember those days. I did the same subjects - by the end of it I was thoroughly bored of modern history and went with Early Modern and Medieval at University (I'm in Wales for Uni atm).

I'm the opposite - I prefer social and economic histories to military :3

Not especially - they should be realistic (and will need to speak English although not necessarily fluently - just makes the RP easier!) and somewhere between 16 and 25.
