I've been looking for something like this!

Supernatural CS.

EDIT: Regarding the lack of teacher characters, I could make one or suggest that we NPC them?
That sounds pretty tough. Hopefully it's one of those (infrequent) occasions where you're actually getting something in return for all the hard work? As ever, I will happily wait with maximum patience! Your posts are always a joy to read and you cannae rush genius.
Does this mean I've been relegated to ranged combat? Sounds good to me

Gaius followed orders and joined Rhiannon who was sitting effortlessly in the yoga lotus position, her eyes not looking at anything in particular but also not missing anything that went on. She nodded as Gaius sat down in a seat nearby and waited for the others not selected by Lauren to also take a seat. They were so young, at least to her.

Does that make me old, I wonder

Suppressing a mirthless smile, Rhiannon gazed at them for a moment, weighing how to start before rolling her shoulders and relaxing a little more.

"Okay, simply put we're going to go over what you know about the world, its politics and the history which are relevant to this mission and our very existence. A lot of what you'll know may be wrong due to propaganda and lost knowledge but I'll correct you and by the end hopefully you'll understand why what we're doing is so important." She turned her head towards Gaius who had leaned forwards, indicating he had something to ask. "Go ahead." She said.

"I understand the purpose of this but how can we be sure that the information you're giving us is not propaganda from this side? I'm already willing to lay my life down for this cause and always have been but I would rather not have my mind filled with falsehoods by my own side. It would be somewhat of a betrayal." There was an odd twinkle in his eye and Rhiannon knew from her long life, and mainly from her experience with Gaius' forebear, that he was fishing for something specific.

"Because this information is coming directly from me and is firsthand." She stopped short of revealing her age but the thoughtful look on the boy's face told her he had already suspected such.

How could he possibly know about that?

"Anyway, before we start I want to hear everything you know. It could be something you've seen or learned from your past and interaction with either our organisation or the established government. This is partly so that you all know a little more about one another as well as educating you on current affairs. Who's going first then?"
That and if he's been involved in an unfortunate accident you'll feel really guilty.

Name: Matthew Garden
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Appearance:

Dressed in standard military dress found in the escape pod, Matthew has the build and bearing of a typical soldier.

Biography: Matthew had no idea who his parents are, only rumour which may or may not be about his parents or about one of the many other urchins he grew up with; there would simply be no way of telling for sure. After being taken for experimentation even those rumours were wiped from his memory and he has simply been told that he destined for a great cause, a noble cause. Satisfied with this basic purpose he did not resist the experiments upon him even as he saw his fellows turn mad or at the very least become unstable.

Even now, after he has begun to sense his own instability. Matthew still trusts in the cause he was given to. He suffers temporary lapses of memory in which he has been told his sanity was severely suspect. Largely he has merely suffered memory damage and considers himself lucky compared to how many of his compatriots ended up.

Personality: Usually a kind, honest and caring man Matthew has begun to suffer from a near-Bi-Polar disorder causing him to sometimes drift into a malicious and scheming personality.
On this occasion she's singing. Now that she's aware there is no spirit and that she is in fact a faerie (or a Ellyllon as it is known in Welsh lore) she's a bit more relaxed in the use of the power which is largely brought out when she is singing.
There we go, a bit of faerie Rhiannon for everyone!
Rhiannon caught sight of the elder man from the confrontation earlier and hurried towards him, slipping through the crowd easily thanks to her slight size while always being careful not to be trampled.

"We need to get to safety." She told the man, pointedly ignoring any questions that he might ask about her bloodstained clothes, the splashes on her face and the loss of her cowl; her red hair now flowed freely out and gave her a somewhat wild appearance along with the new found confidence she had gained with the realisation of her existence. She was one the faerie people, the powers she possessed were merely part of her and not due the possession of some evil spirit and God had seen fit to allow her to escape the flames of His supposed followers; He had shown her that He permitted her existence and continued in faith in Him.

Not waiting to see if the man followed her or not, Rhiannon slipped back into the crowd and headed back the way she had come. Marduk, the dragon, and the other member of their strange group were not so far away and she burst free of the crowd in front of them with a strangely excited smile; the chaos all around them was mere background to her new sense of self and she revelled in the boiling over of madness around her while she had gained control of herself for the first time.

"This way, quickly. They're already in the city and a mob with clubs against soldiers are cattle to the slaughter." She glanced behind them as she spoke, seeing the approach of the Crusaders even though they were far away with several obstacles in the way. Why hide from her powers when God had told her to use them? Especially if for the sake of others?

She danced back, almost disappearing back into the crowd before wheeling back again towards the two.

"Come, come. Hurry, hurry, do not tarry. Come, move your feet of lead! Dare not drop what you carry. Hurry, hurry, 'else we'll all be dead!"

As she sang power crept into her words and merged with the lyrical tune of her voice. Those the small poem was aimed at would find their feet urging them forwards, to follow her, independent of their own wishes.

"Do not be afraid, we will be safe soon!" Rhiannon declared, laughing gaily as she danced in front of them towards their intended sanctuary.
Shiny. I was debating whether to go after him like usual or try and keep the ball rolling. I shall do the former in light of this!
