Rhiannon was tired but not so tired that she couldn't sense the girl who had approached and then spoken to a tree. Leaning back she placed a hand on the root of the tree she leant again, projecting her thoughts through the oak, through its pollinating spores to the other tree.

"Hello again, we're not too scary, honest. We're all a bit special here anyway. I'm Rhiannon, who are you?" She spoke into Hunter's mind via the tree in a similar way she might talk to the plants themselves. It was an easier power than the one she had displayed and took next to no energy at such a short distance although there was a small time delay due to the indirect nature of the medium.

"I'm kind of part human so I wonder if you'd affect me? I'm pretty well versed in techniques affecting the mind including how to block them." There seemed to be a fair few vampires around at the school but Rhiannon wasn't going to alert them to one another's presence. She was aware that some races had various feuds, including her own, so she wasn't going to just blurt out that Allegra was also a vampire.

She stood up, the a root lifting up so as to provide a handhold to help her. Suddenly she was very tired although it was still early on in the day. Adruin demonstrated his ability meaning that now everyone had shown some skill that they had or had shown no intention of doing so.

"Since we're done with show-and-tell what now?"
Rhiannon reached out and slapped Flint before standing up and holding a hand out to help him up.

"Slap delivered in full. Do that again and I swear I'll sing you into having nightmares for a week!" Flint's ability had dawned on her fairly quickly but it had still panicked her initially and she feared her own weakness of the lungs might manifest itself with her increased heart rate but thankfully she had been able to swallow the blood back down before it exited her throat. She suspected the vampire girl would know anyway but hopefully not even the werewolves would have had a chance to detect the blood.

"Well according to humans my race stole children to turn them into us and played tricks on people so that they'd walk off of cliffs and the like so I guess most of the world hates all of us, huh? Still, I guess that's why we're all here. Anyways, I guess it's my turn for show-and-tell?" She noticed a few saplings that had managed to rise between the cracks of the ground and had been crushed by Flint's fall.

"Well, most of you know my unique ability to influence emotions or instincts through song, poetry or anything rhythmic. My power as an Ellyll is like this..." She knelt down by the saplings and touched the one that seemed the least likely to survive. It began to jerk before standing tall again. There was a pause and then it began to grow rapidly with cobbled stones underneath them all rising as roots began to thicken and lengthen. In under a minute a fully-grown oak towered above them, its foliage fully grown and gloriously green even in the relative shadow of the castle wall. Rhiannon sighed tiredly, leaning against the trunk of the tree she had just created and gestured at it warily.

"The Ellyll are kind of like tree sprites and dryads but we can control water, and to some extent fauna as well as flora, so tending to plants in this manner is much easier for us."
"Oh Sweet God!" Rhiannon shrieked, running over to the half-destroyed body and kneeling by it. "Who knows some healing magic? Go and get someone who does!" Her heart was running apace with panic as she looked around for something, anything, that could help. And then she paused for a moment as it hit her, explaining Alex's earlier exclamation. She looked slowly down at Flint's head.

"I swear, if you did that just to show you're immortal or something I am so slapping you."
Zachariah's first image of coming into the school: Someone stepping off a ledge to splatter all over the ground. Not a great start?
Handshake interception. An all new kind of social interference.
"Hmm, I wonder if Ellyll vampires are different to normal vampires..." Rhiannon murmured before waving her hands in front of her, realising the oddness of her musings. "Ah, not that I'm asking to be made one! It'd be interesting though, right? Oh, I'm Rhiannon by the way. I'm basically a Welsh faerie. I'd love to fence against you some time although I'm only a beginner." She intercepted the handshake vigorously before turning to Adruin.

"What grand titles! Well, I'm a choir singer on a national level and am Guardian of Nature!" She declared, somewhat sardonically, before laughing at the title she had created. "Hah, 'Guardian of Nature!' Makes me sound like a tree-hugger. Well, I guess I am in a way. Nice to meet you, O'Angel." She had a thing for satirising pretentious titles of claims even though she meant no offence by it. Then Zaccar spotted Flint.

"Maybe he could be super bouncy?"
I think strength always depends on the situation anyways... I mean, near a heavily forested lake Rhiannon and Alora are probably joint strongest but in an urban location they'd be fairly weak. Admittedly Rhiannon has her singing ability but that's still not all-powerful and is more of suggestion and manipulation magic than attack magic; it just depends on the context.
"Oh I know, just pulling your leg." Rhiannon grinned and then watched in amazement as Alex was hidden by mist and then his dragon form appeared, towering over them all. "Woah, that's... amazing!" Unlike Flint she had no fear of Alex's dragon form, possibly because of her Ellyll blood. Her living seat managed to escape from his duties, approaching the Dragon-Alex to observe.

Meanwhile a tree nearby 'jumped' and she glanced over towards it to see what had caused the disturbance; trees could not see but did have a sense of touch so it would not have responded to Alex's transformation. In the tree sat a girl in a cloak but since she had not yet approached them Rhiannon did nothing, although she chose not to draw attention to the girl in case she wanted to stay hidden.

"Can you speak as a dragon?" She asked, bouncing around at his feet, inspecting his claws with interested. [b]"Also I call shotgun on getting a ride! That is if we're doing that, of course..."
I'm UK time, nemo, so I'm a bit out of the loop too!

Krodin: Most of us are now in the courtyard (except Hunter and possibly Alora, Erza is AWOL since Rusalka has dropped out (for now, at least)) and Alex has shown off his dragon transformation. Other than that... we've had breakfast.
"Oooh, alright then, skipping class it is!" Rhiannon exclaimed as Flint hurried them out into the courtyard. As Alex indicated that he was going change into a dragon Rhiannon looked around for a safe place before seeing Flint stretched out on the only nearby bench.

"Guess we'll stay over here then, bach." She agreed as she sat down on Flint's back before he could sit up. She winked at him as she pinned him down with her slight weight on his back. [b]"That'll teach yer for hogging the whole bench!" She glanced towards a nearby tree, wondering how to display her own power; an Ellyll's power should be used only when necessary for protection or to guide or aid a plant. There was probably a crushed flower nearby or something that she could fix, it wouldn't be a dramatic display but it was compatible with her beliefs.

"Alrighty then Eragon, let's see this transformation!" She called out. Of course she was aware the reference wasn't entirely fitting but it still amused her and she laughed lightly, her lyrical tones echoing around the courtyard cheerily.
