Meanwhile... Kamina seemed rather confused at me, which I dismissed as 'being himself.' I hate following solo members of our team. No, that wasn't directed towards Kamina; that was towards Spruce. Why couldn't Arnold send some lowly scrub to do this mission, whatever it was? Spying? Speaking of spying...

We made it into Scale City, after getting on a worn path to the main entrance (which was just a busted gate with moss all over it) and entering what could be considered the boundary of the city. "Eh. You can go follow Spruce by yourself. I got my own business to attend to." I said to Kamina, who probably was still following me. Heck, I was still facing the buildings across the cobblestone paths, ignoring the fancy and symmetrical walls and the obvious edge of technology here. A week ago or so, I'd be wishing to come here with Davis. Now, I had something else to do...

...and, finally speaking of spying: "God damn it, did Davis hire some lowly scrubs of his own?" Don't say I was deaf. "Go on. I don't think I'm quite myself today, you know... help Spruce and Celes out, would you?" I told Kamina as I turned to him, getting sarcastic and if not strange. I rolled my eye horizontally across the landscape of dry trees (with quite a few leaves) and arid grass, trying to find the source of an apparent voice and sound from earlier. Could've been the wind, but why would I be hallucinating?

"Didn't mind." -KaBling's OOC post from PMD: EOTV
Didn't mind.
"How about names? My name's Miles Hall, but I really don't want to stick around..."

...let's forget I said the latter half of that.

"How about names? My name's Miles Hall." I felt as if my sentence got suddenly cut off.... "I... well, first we're no longer human, second we all fought off some insane bird and dragon, third we're apparently going to enter a portal and get ourselves killed. I don't really think this is a good idea..." I usually come off as a hesitant person. Sometimes, I get pretty euphoric or serious (as seen earlier), but confusion was the best way to deal with the world at the moment. "I just stumbled here from the hospital, since I had nowhere else to go and... well, nobody likes the north, and East Metropolis seems to be burning. I mean, you can make out that cloud of smoke..." I squinted my eyes as I began pointing at our cityscape, cursing the presence of high-rises with broken windows and yelling dragons as I looked back at everyone.

"Frickin' buildings blocking our view." Time passes by quickly. First we're talking, second we're into healing and rest. Sounds like my hospital room for the first year, before getting used to all the hair loss and false news of recovery. "Hm?" That blue hybrid got my attention. I was just looking around the place and spying on everything until I heard a sentence from him. A twitch occurred somewhere in my body, while I carefully watched his claws that could've shocked the bird. "Oh yeah. I think I've asked a few already, though." Then, I had to deal with someone known as Elena, a... er, unicor... rhin... just a plain dragon with dark colourations. I tried turning on my heels, but... I didn't have any. As said earlier, we weren't human anymore... oh well, turning with feet worked. Although it was a bit hard, considering how I was a blob. "Uh, no. Not while walking all the way here, sorry."

Then, I had to- wait. That's all I needed to do for now. That, and ensuring my own survivability in a world where society collapsed within a minute.
Just as I got some breathing space, I was back into the situation of 'Magikarp disrupting one's business.' "Uh, no." I responded hastily, in case he decided to leap out from the grass. "As amazing love may seem, it's not always something people want. Especially in Spruce's situation. So for goodness sake, don't give him them a romantic dinner as soon as soon as they enter the city-"

"Oh Arceus." That probably just set off Kamina. I didn't want to imagine him running off, getting some restaurant to make reservations... oh well, can't use words to stop him now... and I remembered knocking Pokemon out for more than 5 minutes would result in a very minor case of serious brain damage. "Do you even LISTEN to me!?" I hissed sharply, trying to sound quiet because alerting Spruce would jeopradise his own mission.

Then, I realised his mission involved Scale City. And he was quite a fair distance from here, yet let alone there. I didn't need to be quiet. "DO YOU EVEN LISTEN TO ME!?" I repeated, finally letting my voice 'relax.' Then, I just stormed off and left Kamina by himself. My voice alone was enough to anger me.
"God damn it, Bill!"

I can only post IC tomorrow. I don't have much time left to make a post, let alone find a computer...

Well excuse me for playing SPAZ all day, because it compensates for a distinct lack of Starbound.

That, and I didn't have any other computers to use.
"Oh no you don't. Not in America, buddy. Not now. Do you realise what he's trying to do? He's been made into an assassin, and doesn't need anyone hampering his job." Thankfully, lying was easier when it came to me. Though I would've said he needed time alone, that seemingly didn't suffice. "We can follow him, we can't interact with him, so please don't try to do anything else other than exploding in enthusiasm."

Then, I finally noticed my magnet. How do magnets work again? "AaahH-" Before I could actually go from a quiet shriek to a eardrum-blasting scream (which I was pretty sure only me an Kamina heard (AND DAMN PRETTY SURE)), I had successfully clamped my magnet to myself, keeping my 'mouth' shut. "Right then." This was muffled, so don't expect anyone to understand. As I looked down at my magnet, it seemed to... well, the more I looked at it, the more my vision kept pulsating. The magnet probably did too, but at the moment I didn't want to freak myself out further. After five seconds of looking, I had gotten used to it and finally noticed Kamina's presence. "Yeah." I said, jerking the magnet away from my eye. "Just don't do anything stupid." I realised that was an understatement, but at least his behaviour was somewhat useful at times.
