Because everything is never as it seems.

Fixed.

I read on a website that you should buy them so you can keep them alive.

Not quite sure what the logic is there, since the pet trade is generally a factor in the endangerment of many species.

For one thing, if you're keeping one as a pet, odds are you're not breeding more of them - preventing them from doing the repopulating that they could be doing in the wild.

If the website you read that on was the same website that sold them, odds are they lied to you to make a buck.

That "I'm Blue" song by Eiffel 65 is like a giant earwig to me.

I sure hope you mean "earworm", because "earwig" is a type of bug.

...Ironically.
I remember the last guy I knew who was in total denial of becoming a brony.

I can't even put into words how obsessed he is now.

Okay, that works for me. In other words, you're just making him up.... Again though, who is Ara-something? :P

Not someone you know anything about. Yet. Perhaps you'll find that it might be worth investigating.
Though,Wayback does serve as a good manual online backup, since you can give it links to pages that you want saved there. Ever since Guildfall, I've been going there every so often to save all the pages of my roleplays. That'll keep Wayback from being too spotty if I'm ever in this situation again. ^^

Its a singleplayer only game.

So single-player roleplaying in the form of a dream...

...Wouldn't that just be an ordinary dream?

I mean I enjoy sleep and dreams as much as the next guy, but I think I'd still prefer the roleplays that my conscious mind put effort into.

Uhm, Kaga? Who is Ara-something? Is it a player from the previous 'season'?

If by "season" you mean the previous incarnation of this RP, then no.

To clarify, said previous incarnation got almost nowhere before Guildfall. The roleplayers had only just met Godmodder (who at that time didn't even had that name) before one of them so conveniently asked for a demonstration of his power right before the crash of the site, thus inspiring this version of the RP.

So in other words, all those little instances in which GM references people he used to know or the way that things were "before", he's referencing something completely different.

Sorry I didn't clear that up earlier; I see now how that could've been misleading.
I need to ask: was it decided that Rae and Bellua would meet up with Muse's group, or no?
GM was too distracted to answer Euclid immediately, instead remaining focused on Rose. His eyes widened a bit when Rose so easily accepted her fate, not used to such a response in the face of Death. He hadn’t the slightest clue whether her act was one of bravery or sheer stupidity, but he brushed the thought aside, his grin reclaiming its place on his expression. “Well then,” he spoke. “Far be it from me to deny you such a request!” He drew back his sword, preparing for a powerful slice, but stopped himself when he heard Leon’s protest. Ordinarily, he would’ve taken it as any other man pleading for his life – but he wasn’t pleading for his own life. Oh no, it was Rose he wanted to keep alive. The words echoed in his head, “don’t kill her”, and for a moment he seemed lost, struck by a powerful sense of deja-vu as he looked between the two faces. Then, a new, almost empty-looking smile covered his face, growing wider and giddier as Leon’s mental scream rang in his ears. Lowering his sword, he turned back to Leon.

“Sure, whatever you want, Ara- I mean, roleplayer.” He spoke, still wearing the same deranged grin. “I mean, you could serve as a very nice replacement for someone I once worked with… if that seems like a fair trade to you.” The sword disappeared. “Granted, it won’t be quite as satisfying as the first time, not as mysterious or secretive, but it’ll still do! The Guild’s bigger than my old place, you know? And I feel like I need more people working under me this time. Ah! Which reminds me!” He spun around to face Euclid. “That deal I mentioned? That’s what it took the guy to be my little servant. I promised he could run around in the Guild world, free as a bird, and hunt you down and kill you.” He grinned giddily, sharing information like a gossiping teenage girl. “He wasn’t a roleplayer like you guys, though. No – in fact I got the idea after I dragged you here and couldn’t help but notice the connection. As for this monster’s name, he called himself – or, no, I suppose more accurately you decided to call him Bellua.” He paused after saying the name, eagerly waiting for the fear to cross Euclid’s face. “Sound familiar to you? I don’t know how important of a character he was to you, or how long you spent on him. Must not’ve spent very much time on the name, though, since it sounds more like something a Disney princess would have, imho~”
