Shit. I hope Marik gets out of this, "edgy" phase and back to normal soon.

Agreed.

Sorry for the late reply. I've been extremely busy, and only getting busier.

That's alright. Didn't seem late to me; I only just posted yesterday. ^^"

Kaga can you PM me explaining what the semi-GM powers are because I'm lost on that....

You mean the powers that roleplayers have? Did I leave that out of my summary somehow?

The capitalized "FUCK" gave off that it was some kind of sexual joke... The rest was pure guessing. Here's one for you... A programmer is sent to the supermarket with instructions to "buy butter and if they have eggs then buy a dozen."Returning with 12 butters, the programmer says, "they had eggs".

Haaaah.

I'm back. What had I missed?

Our group lost track of you. Remember how everyone was disappearing, presumably due to the void? Yeah... that happened. But that's ok; you can easily re-appear and catch up with the group. All we really did was run out of the cafeteria and meet up with Rae and Bellua's group. Note that they haven't responded to us yet - we only just got there.
"I wouldn't cower in the fetal position just yet." GM added in Euclid's direction. "Seems to be taking him a while to get here..." he mused, his eyes staring into the distance as if he were concentrating on something. "It's fuzzy, though. Must be near a void." he shrugged, before looking back towards Leon with a grin on his face. "Well first..." Before Rose could object, he placed his hand on her forehead, eye-aura increasing in size for just a moment, before Rose completely vanished. "Don't worry." he spoke up quickly. "She's perfectly safe, just... stored away, for lack of a better term." he informed Leon. "At any rate, before I can make you into a full-fledged helper of mine, there's something I need to take care of." Similarly, he placed a hand on Leon's forehead, allowing his aura to increase in the same way. He expected a slight fuzziness in Leon's head for just a moment, but other than that, the change should've been barely noticeable. "There." he spoke once he was finished. "Now you're ready to serve me..." he grinned. "Just as soon as I... think of something... to do..." he trailed off, realizing he didn't quite have his to-do list for the day all planned out. "Oh yeah! I was gonna redesign Rin, and you can help me out! Then beta test her!" he smiled. "Now where'd I leave my laptop..."

Derr... Somehow I've completely missed this one. So, here's a basic plan: - GM drags Leon along, seeing as the latter just promised to do whatever the former wanted.- Euclid can do whatever he wants. Seeing as he's currently in shock, however, he likely won't move a lot.- If Bellua arrives first, Euclid can run from him. At some point during this escape, he can lose track of Rose, at which point we can let her fade out. Also, it allows for drama, which is always good (As long as it's not in the OoC thread).- Alternatively, Muse arrives first, and Euclid goes along with him for some kind of protection. Seeing as it wouldn't be the first time Muse lost track of a character, this also provides an opportunity to let Rose fall off the island.Does that work?

Here's what I was thinking;

Spoiler alert; GM has the ability to transfer objects and people in an out of what could most accurately be described as a video game-like inventory system. That's what he did earlier when he made Rin/Basilix appear/vanish. GM promised under the terms of their deal that he wouldn't hurt Rose, but he could still store her away for safekeeping in the meantime.

This keeps her out of her hair until we think of a more long-term solution.

So how would you suggest "breaking it up". Prettiness is my biggest issue, even my engineering teacher says so.

Oh you know, break it into a few paragraphs. Perhaps one that serves as an intro to the story, one that gets a bit more in-depth, and one that talks more about how the game will be played.

I'd say it's the formatting. A giant block of text like that not only makes it seem like not enough effort was put into it, but is also more likely to result in a "tl;dr" response from readers. My advice is to break that into paragraphs - pretty it up a bit. That should make it easier on the eyes as well as make it look like you put a lot of time and care into it - and people love seeing a GM that looks like they know how to put effort into something. It'll make people more likely to trust that you know how to run an RP and therefore won't have to worry about a GM letting it fall apart on them just as they finally get their CS together.
