GM smiled pleasantly at the sight of how easily his new pets took the roleplayer down. He was almost disappointed that he didn’t get a good chance to test out their flight or regeneration abilities, but those were tests for another day. “Good girls.” He spoke to the wolves, and they immediately backed away from the corpse, their demeanors becoming much less frightening as they idled at GM’s side. Stepping up off his chair, he kicked the book aside as he approached Leon, watching him for a moment as if waiting for something. “Any minute now…” he mused, glancing at his own bare wrist, before finally he’d gotten the result he’d wanted. Right beside the corpse, the air seemed to ripple for a moment before another being materialized just like the wolves and all his other creatures had – except this time the only thing that appeared was Leon, not only alive once again but also healed of all injuries, including those he’d received earlier that morning.

GM grinned. “Welcome back!” he chirped. “The wolves work great! Almost better than my old pal Wai! Although, Wai was a security measure, but these guys make a better all-purpose army.” With another flicker of his eye, all but one of the wolf pack disappeared, the last of them perched calmly beside her creator as she continued licking the blood from her chops. “Told ya they’re under my control.” He told Leon, petting the lone wolf as if it were a loving black lab. “Now then… what to do next…”
Before the others could follow Muse down the hallway, the void reared its ugly head again. Except this time, it wasn’t just a flicker from the floor or the walls. Instead, the void completely engulfed them, and upon feeling a chill run down his spine, the shapeshifter realized that he’d lost sight of the entire party. “Aw, shit!” he cursed. “Nautilus! Books! Bellua! Where’d you guys go?!” he shouted as his body turned around uselessly in space, wondering if the sound of his voice would even travel past his own face.

A second later, though, light returned. A blue sky could be seen above them, a sandy desert below, and a sense of gravity slowly returning to assure them of which way was up and which way was down. Instinctively, Muse shifted instantaneously into his dragon form and, diving after the others, he swooped down and caught all the falling figures he could spot before quickly finding them a landing spot on the ground. He allowed the players to step off and then transformed back to his usual human self, and quickly realized that not everyone he was with before was still with him. Bellua was the first he’d noticed was gone, and while he did feel a small amount of pity he couldn’t say he was too surprised. As for the roleplayers, well, he’d met so many of them so recently that he wasn’t completely sure who or how many of them were left. He took a moment to do a head count, trying to silently identify each one in his head as he went, but he stopped as soon as he encountered a completely unfamiliar face – a roleplayer who’d been hanging out in the desert prior to their arrival. “…Oh. Hello.” He greeted awkwardly. “Who are you?”

I took my (written) final for driver's ed class.

It was multiple choice, and unsurprisingly easy.

The strange part was the fact that I wound up grading everyone's tests, including my own, because the classroom instructor told me to.

I'm fairly certain he's not supposed to hand the tests off to a student and let them determine everyone's final grades like that, but ah well. Given how shitty the class was I probably shouldn't be surprised.

I need to find a new vet, because the one I go to is definitely mentally handicapped. I was just wondering if Spam had any other fellow cat-owners who have seen this type of behavior before, it would help to see other people's viewpoints before I waste my time with Dr.Idiot.

Fair enough.

Sorry to say, then, that I've never seen that from a cat.
:/ Out of concern for your cat, I'd like to tell you that a vet is probably a more appropriate person to ask than an internet forum.

Why not? Like I said, the good guys are going to leave the place anyway. Therefore, Arty doesn't need to get up; the rest will come down to him.

Ohhh now I see.

Yeah, I suppose that works.

So, here's an idea. You know how GM is renovating the place anyway? How about this:- The island -- and the school on it -- slowly falls apart more and more, forcing the good guys to evacuate.- The part that GM is controlling will stay in place, possibly looking as something other than a floating box in the sky from the outside. Because as we all know, every self-respecting villain needs a Fortress of Doom.- The good guys then conclude that the creator of said box is the cause of the island being corrupted in the first place, giving them a(nother) reason to go after GM

The problem with this is that it still doesn't help our friend stuck on the ground. :/

We could have the Island finally disappearing from existence?Unless I'm mistaken it's been hinted that the Island has been flickering for quite some time now.

Well the whole island can't go - since GM, Leon and Euclid are on a different part of that island which isn't experiencing any troubles in that regard - plus I don't want to interrupt everything going on over there.

Which reminds me - Euclid has informed me that he has to leave the RP. He said his leave might only be temporary so I'll try to keep his characters usable, at least for now, but we should still act as if he's gone for good and move his characters out of the realm of importance. Euclid (the character) is fine since he's currently not doing anything - but it's Bellua I'm worried about. Hmm...

Edit: Actually, since Books will be taking a temporary leave soon, as well, it's possible for something to happen that splits the group up, thus separating Bellua and Books from the rest of the group.

Axe Cop is actually awesome.A comic book artist decided to make a story where he does the artwork and the story, characters, and everything else are made by his 5 year old nephew. The results are glorious.

That sounds like a brilliant premise, I admit.

Oh shit that scissors? I just notice, i thought it was hand cuffs or something this whole time.

I admit, they are kind of hard to identify as scissors, given the angle. I didn't even realize that's what the avatar was supposed to be until Giygas' comic.
