I've only excessively used GIFs on the thread with..."squadala"I think I've managed to lower my gif usage on other threads, though that's not for me to judge. But thanks for the tip anyway, appreciate the advice.

You had seemed to imply that your reasoning behind not using gifs recently was just due to technological limitations and that you would still post them if you could - hence my assumption.

You're welcome anyway, though.

And, jeez, I can't believe I forgot the "squadala" guy. I hope he sees this, too.

I've since vowed to only use ellipses in necessary circumstances, so, yeah, a bit late.

You were overusing them just earlier in this thread - when did that happen?

I mean not that I'm complaining, though - good on you for making that smart decision.

....Dots are my gimmick.... doesn't everyone know this by now...?

Alright listen.

Listen.

Listen.

You and Derpenstein both need to learn this:

Just because something is "your thing" doesn't mean it can't be seen as annoying. If people don't like your "thing", they have every right to voice that opinion.

I mean, DragonKing's thing was bestiality - that didn't make it ok. DarthWarman's thing was ragequitting - that didn't make it any less pathetic. Raichu's thing was mentioning how much she liked pie every two minutes - by god did that get insufferable quickly.

I mean I feel like these examples are a level above what you two are doing but the logic still gets across. Just because something is "your thing" doesn't make it cool. You wanna be known for a cool thing? Come up with something cool.

Ellipsis/gif overuse is not cool.

...Actually come to think of it, overuse of anything generally isn't cool. That's why no one liked Mummy despite all the other Whovians in Spam generally getting along fine with everyone else - because Mummy included Doctor Who in every post, like you do with ellipses.

Drago's "thing" (or was he renamed 'Darog'?) is remembering his first beer. But he doesn't reminisce about it every time he's online - which I guess is why it's a beloved(?) Spam meme and not an annoyance.

I feel better having gotten all this off my chest.

Edit: I just realized I referenced a bunch of old, mostly-now-inactive Spam members in a post directed at two newbies. There may be a flaw in that logic.

I'm kind of against new people getting attacked as soon as they jump in just because they don't understand how things work - but then on the other hand there are people that I feel don't exactly deserve to be protected, especially after they've been around for a while.

So really it's a case-by-case basis.
Are we still talking about our favorite Doctors?

Because I would just like to say that the Classic Doctors are really overlooked.

...And that William Hartnell is awesome as the Doctor.

...That is all. *flies away*

Edit: holy crap the default avatar is hideous

Well the default avatars are randomly generated unicorns and each member has a unique one.

I remember back when this site was first getting running and no one could upload their own avatars yet, so we all had unicorns. Some of them were hilariously bizarre to look at. ...Good times. Good times. XD

So Turt's a user that makes alts to annoy everyone? Oh, well I guess Lambda was made about a week ago.

He doesn't often make alts, that I'm aware of.

He's just annoying in general.

...Why did he keep a feral dog in his house?....Or is it just normally angry and just extra hates cabbages?.....Was the kid feeding cabbages to the dog under the table until it snapped?Too many questions in that gif. Urrrgghhhh.

You're late.

The non-captioned version of that gif practically dominated Spam as recently as... well it feels like yesterday.

Surprising no one recognizes it now. It used to be in half the members' signatures.

Where the hell is Joe when you need him?
Eh, Netflix would just keep me up longer. Forums tend to lull me to sleep faster - depending on which ones I visit.

and here's me waking up at twelve....*sigh*

Nothing wrong with that, if you ask me, assuming you don't have anywhere you need to be in the morning.
