That said, I should probably mention that I may or may not be able to post within the next two days. I have college orientation tomorrow and Wednesday and, while I plan on having plenty of time to write posts, I can't guarantee I'll have a ton of internet access to post them up. Also this weekend I'm going to a convention so I can guarantee that you won't be seeing any posts from me at all those two days.

^^" You know I appreciate the effort but you don't need to keep me updated on all the times you'll be away for "a few hours". It's not like I expect everyone to be online 24/7 - we all spend "a few hours" offline every day anyway. You only really need to notify me of an extended leave - like, anything more than a day or two.

I'd view it as immensely annoying to have to constantly say "this post didn't happen", due to making assumptions about the behaviour or attitudes of a group of entities that I haven't defined yet. Making assumptions about unknowns because they lack nominal importance would be a bad habit from my point of view, especially if things aren't named yet because they haven't had chance to be introduced.

And I... wasn't making any IC posts in which I assumed things. I will wait for GS. I wasn't arguing that I shouldn't. I just made a small mistake, and then admitted that I was mistaken. That's all.

Well then I apologize for implying that I and only I could be correct. I also apologize immensely that my potential misuse of terminology even started this ugly debate - as I was only trying to express the fact that I didn't realize Vita was waiting on Gray Star to post. That is all.

I thiiiiink that doesn't work so well if you're trying to have an RP with a solid plot, using NPC's we (the players) know nothing about. Not all NPC's are simply wallpaper.

You raise a good point that Gray Star should probably be controlling the NPC's in this case. I for one never said that she shouldn't - only that I didn't realize that's what the situation was.

:/ Listen, that's just how I define them and how I've seen most people define them. I can understand how NPC could be defined as GM-controlled, and if that's what Gray Star wants to do, then that's fine. I'm just speaking based on my own experiences in roleplaying. Please don't accuse me of "making stuff up".

NPC means non-player-character, meaning anyone can play them, so we wouldn't need GS to post first. You're thinking of a GMC, which can only be controlled by the GM.
