May have been Vsauce's video "Why don't we all have cancer?" This question reminds me of that.Anyway, on-topic: I'll answer this question in an equally pseudoscientific and philosophical way tomorrow.

I did think of VSauce for a moment, but then I was like, "Nah, I remember another science channel that tackled this question way more directly". Although VSauce's cancer video is still awesome. Pretty much all of VSauce's videos are awesome.

Found it!
I once found a very interesting Youtube video on the subject, but apparently I never bookmarked it.

Hang on, it might take me a minute to find it again...
Alright then.

I'll try to post for Muse when I can. In the meantime, Neo, feel free to do the thing. ;)
So apparently I'm one of the few people here who had the luxury of getting decent sex ed during school. :I

I sort of got sex ed twice, actually. First was a unit in science class in like 6th grade, which was pretty much all about the biological basics, and no teachers even brought up abstinence/safe sex/STD's or anything since I guess it was assumed we were all too young to think about any of that, anyway.

Then in Health class in high school we went through it again - though this time the baby-making essentials were just quickly reviewed and most of the time was spent talking about STD's and birth control. We actually got a pretty thorough run-down of contraceptive options, actually, though they all had the caveat attached that none of them were 100% effective and the only way to protect yourself for sure was through abstinence. At least they were being realistic about it, though.

Well, I'm not involved in this scene at all, so me voting one way or another doesn't really seem fair to me. But eh...

Yeah, you're kind of a special case, so you don't have to vote if you don't want to.

Hmm, tough choice, But I think for the sake of activity I'll vote 2

Duly noted.

As for everyone else - vote for whichever you'd rather see. "Indifference" also counts as a vote if you really can't decide (I'd rather know if you actually don't care rather than have you either pick one at random or not speak up at all).
Ok! Got a post for GM up. I'll hold off posting for Muse till I get a general sense of where people want the RP to go from here (in other words, until I get some poll responses).
“Well, alright then. Back to our hidey-hole we go~!” GM sang, before he, his companion and his dragon all zoomed off into the sky, back towards their floating black box.

Expectedly, Basilix vanished again as soon as they stepped inside. After that, the realm GM called his own contained nothing but himself, Leon, a giant rabbit, the remains of some character’s dorm room, and his computer. “I really need to make some modifications to this place… make it less generic…” GM hummed as he sat down in front of his laptop. “I guess to start, I should make this place less awkward-looking, just floating in the sky like this.” As he spoke, he focused on making the outward appearance of his abode smaller, allowing it to shrink until almost nothing but the entrance remained. The inside, however, stayed the exact same size.

“Now then, decor…” he mused. “I wanna go for something different this time. The dungeon theme I had last time was nice, but maybe I’ll try something with a bit more pizazz this time around.” he said to himself, minimizing the program he’d been using to control the Guild world, and instead opening some sort of web browser. “I can still tap into whatever version of the internet that old academy RP had, yes?” he spoke out-loud as he attempted to get his device to connect, eventually holding it up and walking around with it a bit, before gravitating towards the piece of the structure that still looked like a dorm room. “…Yes? Yes!!” he cheered as he parked himself down at the border between a roleplayer’s creation and his own. “I’ll have to work on setting up my own internet sometime soon, but I can leech off of this in the meantime!”

Once he’d established a stable connection, he started poking around the web for inspiration. While it seemed a bit bizarre to watch the shift from futuristic holograms that could alter reality to simple Google Images, it was at least a bit more familiar and easier to follow. “What do you think I should try, Leon? Should I keep the medieval theme and maybe take a more upscale castle-like route? Or should I try something totally different and maybe go for a sci-fi sort of feel this time? I mean, a medieval fantasy sort of tone would more closely match the dragons and other creatures I’ve made so far, but sci-fi includes genetic experiments and all that which justifies pretty much everything. Plus it is closer to what I’ve been doing…” he rambled. “…Is there any way to combine sci-fi and fantasy?” he paused for a moment to think. “…Homestuck’s kinda like that.” he concluded. “BRB, stalkin’ some Homestuck RP’s.” he spoke quickly before vanishing, leaving Leon alone with GM’s belongings — including his laptop, which he didn’t even bother to close.
And now, I'll take a vote. Given where we are now, would you rather we...

1) Spend more time learning about our powers and/or the nature of the RP world itself or

2) Face some other nearby danger.
