“Not much info I can think of, besides what’s already been said.” Vash answered Connor. “All we know is there will be 21 Trials, each following some sort of theme, I believe, and that we need to get through them all in order to have our…” Vash trailed off as he was distracted by the shaking beneath his feet, freezing in place for a moment before grabbing onto a nearby wall as the minor earthquake continued. “What in the world…” he mumbled. Thankfully, the quake wasn’t too severe and, quickly glancing around the room, it was clear no one was hurt or anything.
After that, he couldn’t help but let his eyes drift towards the open window, watching the large spire suddenly begin to glow. “Well… that’s interesting.” Vash commented. “Say, what's that thing all about?” he asked the lizard. "I mean, what's it do?"

Fun fact! The anime was in fact directed by a guy formerly known for doing lots of horror anime. Which would explain some things.

Terrified me when I was younger. Recently re-watched the series with a friend of mine and decided it would make an amazing avatar.

You wouldn't be the only one. Apparently back in the 60's the Daleks had a whole series of spin-off movies not connected to the rest of the franchise. That should say something about the Daleks' appeal.

I liked the cute Dalek, too, but I'm getting a little tired of it and I want something new. (Besides, I'm most likely keeping the sig, at least for a while longer.) Plus, it might return some day. Wouldn't be the first time I've recycled an avatar.
In the meantime, it would be nice to be able to change avatars when I want to.
Personally, I think that you should only recruit a GM once you know that you need one (meaning, after the RP has already started).
Assigning a co-GM before the RP even gets off the ground can be tough, especially if you don't know the co-GM in question super well, because they haven't had the chance to establish much dedication to the RP yet. Nobody has. Also, you have to teach them everything they need to know about running it from scratch.
Generally, when I feel like an RP is getting a little tough to manage and I want another thinking mind to help me organize it, I'll pick someone out from the crowd I already have. That way, I'm able to single out someone that I feel has already proven themselves to be dedicated to the RP, and they already know a fair amount about the RP due to having participated in it for so long. After that, you don't need to teach them as much.
In the meantime, don't worry about recruiting a co-GM you may or may not need. At worst, having two minds where you only need one could potentially overcomplicate things. Best thing to do is just start the RP on your own and if it works out fine that way, then great. If it proves to be a little much and you want a co-GM, go get yourself one.

Yeah, the Dalek is the old one. I tried to change it to an anime thing that may or may not terrify some of the more sensitive members of the site. ...I've lost track of how long ago that was. Probably close to a week by now. :/
And this isn't the first time I've tried to get a new avatar but it would just never change. One time I wound up waiting so long that I eventually gave up and picked a different avatar, which managed to switch itself within 24 hours.
