I almost never write out IC posts on the Guild interface itself. Because as you pointed out, it doesn't save, it isn't reliable, and this forum has issues. It's still young and it's probably gonna be a while till it has a post autosave feature. Even the old one didn't have one until close to the end of its lifetime - the best solution is to use something that CAN save, like Word, and then copy/paste your posts.

Quirks

I tend to have these weird little conversations with myself sometimes. Except I don't really feel like I'm talking to myself - it's like part of me thinks I'm talking to one of my friends, about something we would actually talk about. And I do this without even really thinking about it, too. :/

I already saw this on National Geographic and thought about a red hammer only because I remembered the NatGeo special, and it automatically came to mind.

Thanks, K97, that sounds pretty interesting. Like it's said, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

You really should give the show a try. I find it to be really intense for most of the story, plus it really makes you think.

I just try to ignore everything that happened in the series after [spoilers], including the backstory they tried to give him. My opinion of the series stays higher that way.

I agree that Death Note isn't quite the same after that, but I will say that if you give it a bit of patience, the story really, really picks up again after a little while.
