Hah.
Ha! I played that game. It was almost so bad it was good. Almost. It was mostly just frustrating, though.

Like I said, I don't recall the exact details.

So... are you trying to say you have no reason for being anti-vaccines? Because your previous post doesn't seem to bring forth any argument against them.

While I don't remember the particulars of , my stance has a bit to do with my mother-who worked as a paramedic and in the ER in a major city for years, besides that she was in the hospital constantly as a child (quite sick). I think her background-and her turn-around from that-speaks a bit.

I don't understand how this is an argument against vaccines.

Ha!I didn't swell, at all. I was eating hamburgers two days after because I'll be damned if I'm going to eat broth and soup for longer than I have to.

Lucky bastard.

Not only do I look like I received two brutal punches to the jaw, but I tried eating pasta yesterday because I thought I was getting well enough to move up to semi-soft foods - I could not chew it, at all. Too painful. I'm back on yogurt and soup today. And my surgery was last Friday. ...And my dentist said I'd have a relatively quick recovery. ><

I didn't swell so bad and had a relatively easy time.Should be soon, though. The meds are awesome.

For the first two days I kept thinking the meds weren't working as well as they should've been because I was still in pain. It was like they hardly made a difference.

Then I washed the holes out with saltwater and didn't feel a thing, so I guess they were doing their job - it's just that my level of pain overwhelmed them, I guess.

what exactly is WOTM?

Writer of the Month. It's the Guild's official writing contest, managed by myself, Brovo and Jorick. Basically every month, we come up with a "theme" for the contest, which has components, and the entrants have to use 1-2 of those components in their story depending on which level they enter. Anyway, after all the entries are in, the Voting Threads are put up and the winner is decided by their Guild peers.

It used to be a much bigger deal on the old Guild, where this had its own subforum and the WOTM managers like me had a few mod powers inside said subforum so we wouldn't need to keep asking the mods to take care of our business. Unfortunately we don't have a lot of the nice things we used to anymore and we're still waiting for Mahz to implement them, but we figured that in the meantime, we might as well make do with what we have and build up momentum and interest for the contest so that Guild members may still enjoy it. ^^

However, in these early stages, lack of interest and activity sure are a problem - so going to the voting threads, reading the entries and voting on one would mean the world to me, especially if you left some reviews on the entries - even if short. ^^

one time a fugitive ran through my backyard and the search helicopter hovered over my house for a second, it was wild

I didn't see anyone running on the ground, but then again I only saw the copters themselves for like a second. Took me a minute to get to the window when I heard them flying.

Sadly my Mom was one of those people who hates vaccines and is utterly convinced that they cause autism, so I grew up without them

>Magnum's mother believes vaccines cause autism.
>Magnum never received any vaccinations as a kid.
>Magnum has autism.

...I feel like this should've been proof enough to her that there's not a connection.
Or, even if there was, why would the risk of causing autism even matter if you were already autistic?
