A Story I Put together called Vie: The Chosen (for now) [fantasy]

Stories told of their King who when all else failed cast himself into Deces Mountain after the traitor Deces. No one in the 700 years since has set foot on Deces Mountain, and the people in the wake of the broken kingdoms built a huge wall around the entire mountain in attempts to thwart anyone going on the holy land. There were small villages scattered throughout the kingdom that now thrived after the fall of the King, now that the people ruled. To the people on the streets of the central city Vie the name of their King had been long forgotten, and what he had died for long lost.

The magics that fabled to lie trapped on the other side of the wall and any trespassers would face the wrath of the combined forms of the King and Deces, and all who survived would carry forever the mark of Reve on there body forever, a thin band of red over the eyes around the head. The ancients once called the lands sacred, for when one would go in, they would never return and were believed to have been eaten up by the essence of King Deces. But one day a small group of teenagers wandered through a crack in the wall and met the Men who had died there in that mountain. As they stepped through their minds were scattered to every point on inside the walls and back again as if they were everywhere and no where at once. Its said that the first of The Chosen was a boy named Reve after his fathers fathers father and so on back into history and the time of the King’s. Of the First Chosen Reve and three others are left and they maintain the balance of Good and Evil throughout the kingdom, but they feel there forces dwindling and know that to the east one day something will come from the other side of the mountain and destroy them, they had to find a group of Chosen stronger than the rest, stronger than even them…

Will you Fight with the first Chosen against the Hordes of the Great Illusi? Will you find out the true meaning of what lies inside Deces Mountain as no one before has? The news has gone out and the Chosen have addressed the cities and villages to send their brightest and best, and so they came, with dreams of being immortal and all powerful. Most would find their brains rotted.



This story is about the Area of Deces a native land with many great minds in it. To the east lies the rest of the world and beyond the mountain that marks their territory they know nothing. At any age can you become one of the Chosen but you must remember your mortal body is taken when you enter the Mountain area within the walls for the first time and if you ever dare to return your mortal body will be given back to you while there. This is usually the only way one of the Chosen can die, though since beasts have started to come around the walls of the mountain from the east as they crossed the border from the places still ruled by kings they haven't been safe.
These beast and the twisted “men” that control them seem to be able to destroy the Amber Heart that keeps one of the Chosen alive, turning it to dust that floats away to a place unknown( so far). One thing is for sure the Chosen would never fight among each other and no Chosen is the same as another, there power reflects who they were when they went in the Walls and what came out were immortal creations of King Deces to protect the Lands of Vie. Why did Deces make you immortal? Only the King knows that, and some will never find out until the day comes when one Chosen leads Vie to its salvation and is shown the Entrance to the mountain that so many had died in vain to find.

This is going to be put up in all the Interest checks so ya, also i think i have a good idea going here and i wont have a limit on the Chosen. Should have a First post by next week. :)

Michael thought about what Vic said, but he didn't understand what she meant. "Last i check Demigod's still died and went to Hades You want to see his dad anytime soon?" He said pointing at Shay "Cause i sure as hell never want to meet the man." Michael walked back over to the couch and sat down the room was starting to spin and he thought that now was not a good time to have an episode. He closed his eyes and began to breath deeply, he rubbed his hand across the rough grain of the table and slowly relaxed.

Camp Half-Blood

Michael wondered for a moment what she was telling Vic about but he figured it wasn't that important. Michael felt the scar on his shoulders from his experience with retractable armor. "Its not the durability, its just hard for most to get the mechanics down for an individual." He looked at around the cabin and got up to serve himself some water. "So how are we suppose to track this fleece down anyhow? Speaking of which this is kind of starting to sound like a suicide mission, i mean we don't know anything about who took the fleece or why, is this some sort of trap?" He said turning back around more talking to himself than anyone else in the room. He hoped they would find the fleece fast and not have to worry about what whoever had it wanted to use it for.

Michael looked at the girls armour " that's pretty cool, not many trust retractable armour anymore" he said as he sat on the couch, he noticed they were the first ones there and he took a peak out the window to see if any of th other ones where on there way. The view didn't look very promising so he turned back around and started talking to the group again "Any objections about who's comming along?" He said lttin an eye slip up to his father who had a small smile on his face, he loved seeing people cause a ruckus.
