When morning came, Sadon woke slowly. He rubbed his eyes and blinked a few times to adjust to the light. The night before was better than any he had known. Not only did he get a business opportunity that would help him greatly, but he actually enjoyed spending time with Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff. They made him feel like he actually belonged among their little circle. At home he had the forge, his horse Athos, and a German Shepard named Roxie.
Was Sadon was able to sit up, he suddenly felt a presence in the room. Turning his head, he noticed Roxie sitting beside his bed looking up at him. He smiled softly and pet her head, turning to put his feet on the ground before standing up. He had started packing his things last night, but never finished before he fell asleep. Roxie knew that they would be leaving their home in Riverwood, and she stayed by her friend's side the whole morning. He finished packing his things into the carriage Elsa had let him borrow, then made sure Athos was properly hooked up. Roxie jumped in the back of the carriage and made her way to the front where she could sit near Sadon. Then the three started their journey, Sadon looking back at his home one last time.
โDon't worry girl, it won't be gone. It's still our home.โ
The trip went well for them. The morning sky was clear and the sun shone brightly. They eventually reached the gates of the kingdom, and people seemed to be ready for his arrival. Once inside the gates, Sadon noticed Elsa standing on the main staircase. He smiled softly as Athos pulled the carriage up front. Once stopped, Sadon jumped down from his seat and Roxie followed, staying beside him.
โI hope I'm not too late,โ he said with a soft chuckle, rubbing the back of his neck to relax it from the long ride.
