Yeah, I think that absence of mine killed it, unfortunately. I do have another RP started up that could use some new people. It's getting a little stagnant after almost a week of no IC replies, assuming you're interested in Transformers.
Just letting you guys know, I just got back from processing and I now know when I'm going to basic. I'm shipping out on December 30th to do basic training at the Great Lakes. I'm currently marked down as an E2, and once I finish the year out (and, thus, my fourth semester of JROTC), they'll be bumping me up to an E3. I'm having to take a job as a Utilitiesman until a position in either engineering or cryptology opens up.
A post for Darkstar would really help. I'll PM Mars.
Metalstorm
Metalstorm was quick to transform once again and fly out of the way, but the Seeker still had some tricks left. More missiles went Metalstorm's way, but flares were sufficient to throw them off. The insane flier then let loose a spray of machine gun fire that tore the final Seeker apart and hurtling towards the ground. The skies, much to Metalstorm's delight, were clear once more, at least until the next encounter.

Overboost
Roughneck grinned in immediate response to the question. "I think you'll like what we have here. While Hyperspeed is definitely in charge and arranges raiding parties, manages resources, etc., that's really all he does. He's more of a manager, to be honest. We run ourselves like a family, bound by one goal: survival. We're here to keep the Autobot ideals alive in Optimus's absence, so that if we do regain contact, he won't find a planet populated entirely by Decepticons."
All right. Sorry to see you go. I won't kill off your character, though. I don't like killing off people's characters, so I'd rather not do it unless a situation has literally no other alternative.
So... should I post now, or continue waiting on that collab?

Also, there's a good chance I'll be at basic training starting in June, depending on how my additional occupational training turns out being scheduled. They're gonna try to get as small a gap between the two as possible. But so far, it's looking like my chances of getting in are quite high.
I was hoping to wait for a couple more posts, but I'll get one up during lunch today.
I'm going to be busy for the next few weekends, but I'll still have plenty of time during lunch at school.

EDIT: Also, there's a good chance I'll be going into basic training next month. While I'm there, Mars and Zero have authority and can advance things when needed. I'll likely be gone for several months when you include basic training and occupational training.
Metalstorm
Metalstorm's paranoia was well-warranted, as the remaining Seeker took advantage of the now-grounded bot. He streaked over Metalstorm and dropped several bombs in a straight line, and Metalstorm was right in the bombing path.

Darkstar
After putting the finishing touches on the paint and stepping back, Spotweld said, "Well, you probably guessed you're going in a cell, as is sensible. Unfortunately, we lack a brig due to being unable to acquire replacement forcefield generators for the cells when our last ones burned out. Until Hyperspeed decides what to do with you, you have access to all the low-security areas. Make yourself at home, if you can call it that." Darkstar would find that Spotweld was quite skilled. The paint job matched almost perfectly, and there was little sign of replacement parts. But the biggest thing Darkstar would notice was the disdain in Spotweld's voice. He obviously didn't like the idea of a Decepticon wandering the base, but there was no other option except to just let him go, which was not the first thing Hyperspeed wanted now that the Seeker knew the location of the place.
Metalstorm
The targeted Seeker dropped a cluster of flairs to throw off the lock, but one of the missiles made it past them and blew out one of the Seeker's engines. It was dumb luck, but that was more than enough to take the Seeker out of the fight, even if it didn't kill him. However, the other Seeker was now on his tail and had a lock on Metalstorm. Three missiles were let loose and streaked towards Metalstorm as alerts blared in his audio receptors notifying him of the danger.

Overboost
Roughneck grinned and followed Overboost, while Hyperspeed returned to attend to the resistance as a whole. It was likely that Overboost may not see Hyperspeed much, for this was easily the largest Autobot resistance group he'd ever seen. There were hundreds of bots in this cave complex. As they walked, Roughneck continued, "I deal with it by keeping busy. I can focus on the task at hand instead of my condition. As for the other two... they deserted us in favor of a suicidal resistance group, and were wiped out with the rest. The sad part is they knew full well it was suicide to join them, but they just couldn't deal with being unable to transform."

Specter
The caravan was lightly guarded for its size. It had half a dozen guards, and it appeared to contain enough supplies to last them a decacycle. Without regarding Specter's statement, the raid leader gave the go ahead and the party moved in. They were quickly noticed and fired on with several cries of surprise.
