I don't know if this is true for the Army, but I believe the Navy doesn't care as long as you don't break anything. Army may be different since it's more infantry based.

I wouldn't mind straying off the established rule tho. A group of competent cons led by shockwave and not megatron can do a lot, and in turn autobots so far lack leadership. Id'd be nice to see the cons rolling for a while :D *totally not con biased*

Hey, you're not the only one. My TF RP was during that several million years between the Ark launching and the bots awakening on Earth when the Decepticons basically ruled all things Cybertronian.

Also, I got tired of being stuck, so I did a quickie based on a previous character's history.
Name: Strongarm

Gender: Male

Height: 20 feet

Alliance: Decepticon

Disguise Type: A black Dodge Challenger

Appearance: Strongarm is a fairly bulky machine, but not to the point that most tougher bots are. He is mostly black with some very dark grey highlights. His hands are fairly similar to those of humans, only with four digits instead of five. Much of his body is covered with solid plates of metal, giving him an armored look.

Weapons: Strongarm is equipped with an internally stored plasma cannon and an energon dagger, but he is far more effective when unarmed. Due to how he was designed to fight, he is far tougher than his size suggests, with reinforced armor plates and as few gaps as possible while still maintaining a reasonably high agility. Even so, he's not as tough as some larger bots designed solely with armor in mind, as his combat style requires agility.

Personality: Strongarm is a warrior, right down to his spark. He takes great joy in battle, rushing straight to the front lines. He tends to be direct and fairly blunt, along with the usual immorality common among Decepticons. However, despite his hatred of humanity, he could not help but find himself fascinated with the look of their vehicles, and quickly found himself becoming what humans would call a car enthusiast.

Background: Strongarm was part of an experiment by the Decepticons, but, unfortunately, that experiment failed miserably. He was an attempt to reconstruct lost brothers in a combiner, but when the one remaining piece of the combiner lost all hope and self-terminated, only Strongarm was complete. Since he had yet to be linked to the remaining component, he did not suffer any negative side effects of the death, but the project was canceled.

I apologize for not getting my sheet up sooner, but I haven't had time at all for RP stuff yesterday or today. Unfortunately, it won't be up until Monday since I lack internet at home.
I'm working on it, but, same as with most of my sheets, the background is stumping me.
This is turning out to be a really fun RP to read. I can only imagine when I actually finish my sheet and join in how much fun it'll be to participate.
I've just gotta get the background laid out and I'll be done.
Both were mentioned as being in the works during the same interview. They haven't begun work on them yet, but they're discussing what to do with the franchise and are seriously considering both a 2D one for handheld and a 3D Prime-style one for WiiU.
Oh, while we're still on Metroid, I'm actually writing a fanfiction that removes the sexism from Other M's story. Also, Samus didn't mysteriously shrink in this version like she did in Other M. She's supposed to be 6'3", but Other M had her at your average woman's height, with the suit bringing her up to 6'3". Thing is, her suit normally puts her at about six and a half feet tall.

Here's my source for her height:

That's from the Nintendo Power guide for Super Metroid.

Anyway, maybe that's what the next 2D Metroid will do.

They're some pretty enjoyable shooter/exploration things, though I'm not sure if Samus can be called a "woman" anymore, seeing as she's a human/chozo/x-parasite/metroid/phazon-mutant hybrid. She's got some fucked up DNA, is all I'm saying.

Actually, the phazon mutation was reversed with the destruction of Phaaze because all phazon was destroyed. She never did get X DNA, she fed off of them because of metroid hybridization. So she's a hybrid of human, Chozo, and metroid, and there's a rumor flying around that the Omega Suit she got at the end of Fusion reversed that as well.

Now I feel like playing Super Metroid for some reason. To the SNES emulator!
I loved Other M's Nightmare fight. It was a really unique boss battle that really stands out in the midst of the other, more generic bosses.

The one thing I really liked about Other M was Samus's animation in the gameplay. She was really smoothly animated and her movements screamed agility, especially with the wall jumps and dodges.

My reason for loving Prime 2 is its atmosphere. Prime 2 was very dark and gritty, and I love gritty games. And Sanctuary Fortress is just jaw dropping. I also feel that Prime 2 has the best boss battles out of any Metroid game. They had massive scale and were more puzzle-oriented than in most Metroid games. But yeah, they're all great games, with Other M being at the bottom despite being fun.
