Yeah, this time it's official. I'm having to pull out. I'm only keeping one RP, and that's only because I've been in it for two and a half years. I'm pulling out of all RP stuff since gaming is killing my desire to post in anything.
I'll definitely be sticking around and reading, because I love what I've read so far. Heck, maybe my interest will return and I could rejoin if there are slots open.
When Onyx fell, Aadab immediately withdrew her extended spirit to save its strength, which, to her surprise, was still plentiful, yet she was beginning to feel it getting closer to unhinging. Just like Demoko, however, she suspected Onyx was not yet finished, and it was Demoko that voiced both of their concerns. Onyx leaped back onto the bridge, looking a bit battered but not that injured. When Onyx fired the hurricane blast towards the three of them, she firmly planted her staff in front of her and threw up a spirit barrier around themselves, and she grunted as the blast hit, but the barrier held. When the blast cleared, the barrier splintered into many pieces, which then turned and streaked towards Onyx. Aadab preferred to use her physical abilities alone for combat, but against such a powerful enemy she had little choice but to mix the two. Whether they did any damage upon impact or not, as each shard impacted it dissipated and was withdrawn into Aadab. Even as the others were showing stress, though, she remained calm.

Is that one not Heroes of Beacon?

The movie? Or the sketch?
I unfortunately had to do that recently after an RP I was given died after three years of going. I wish it could keep going because it was an awesome RP, but, well, three years is nothing to be ashamed of. I was in it for two of those three years and had co-ownership for half that, then a little bit towards the end when I received sole ownership of it. I ended up giving control of its fate to the assistant GM in the hopes that a fresh look from the top could possible give it new life, but I honestly don't have any hope for it. It's currently just him and two other people, where we once had 20-something people spread across its board on the site we had to move it to due to the fact that it got too big for one thread.
Thanks. Also, love the signature. That was my favorite sketch from that movie.

Also, I wasn't in that many. I was in only three, now I've shaved it down to just one, so I know it's not a burnout. As I said, I think gaming is what killed my inspiration.
I think what caused it is the fact that I'm finally kinda sort of able to access the means to game like I used to. For a while I couldn't because my PC's board conked out on me, but we managed to scrounge up some spare parts at work so I could have at least a decent gaming machine. I mean, it's good enough to run Fallout 3 at max settings even with the mods I have that enhance the visuals a bit, so it'll run all the games I own.

I doubt you'll see this if you're leaving the internet for a while, but take care. Just no that you'll be back... There is a reason it is called the 'Web'!

Heh. I'm not leaving the internet as a whole, just RP, though there is one RP that I'm sticking with to the end even if my interest has left me, another Zelda RP that I've been participating in for two and a half years. I'd feel kinda bad if I left it after that long.
Oh, I should also let you guys know that my ship date may be pushed forward in not too long, or it could get pushed back or not change at all. I've taken (and passed) the DLAB, which will allow me to get into cryptology, and the request for a job change is currently processing.
