Rokku, Zero has a very good point. If we still had six groups like before, there'd be no problem, but there's only a single group right now. Of the three I've limited myself to, only one is consistently RP'd, which is Samus. Dark Samus is just out there, and Kalama's remaining in the Cyber Realm for the foreseeable future. Please limit yourself to two consistently RP'd characters at a time, but I'd still prefer just a single character. Then limit yourself to two characters that are simply out there that could pop in, but I'd prefer that count to be zero since the only reason I have those kinds of characters is because they're necessary as plot points, Kalama being the guide and Dark Samus being the main antagonist as far as is currently known, both by me and by the players. Even Samus is more of a plot tool than an actual PC, being there as a sort of liason to the newcomers. Grand has his three that consistently interact with each other and are too closely tied to not include with each other, as well as his own plot character, but he's allowed more wiggle room due to helping me keep this running.

I'd rather not see you go because of this, but nine characters is more than unnecessary with this clean slate.

EDIT: I should note that this is the final word on this, and the condition to you continuing to participate here. I'm putting my foot down here. Trim down your character count to the required count I've specified, or don't participate, it's as simple as that.
Okay, that decides it. We'll stay.

Also, he is intended as an NPC type of thing. I wasn't saying he would do that, because his personality's more about you guys doing things and his staying out of involvement in the details, more about making sure a Multiversal threat gets dealt with. Even with the kind of power Dark Samus has, she simply isn't enough to get him involved. You'd have to piss off a seriously powerful entity to get Kalama involved, like if we were to go piss off Morgoth over in Lord of the Rings. That's why Kalama isn't actually there, because nothing in the Zelda universe is powerful enough to warrant his direct attention.

Also, the magical barrier I refer to is the one you dispel in the initial area of the castle, the one you need the Light Arrow to get rid of. However, since Hyrule's now more organic and lore-based, it's likely the Master Sword itself may be enough since it's the Blade of Evil's Bane.

Oh, and speaking of LotR, any objections to that being our first actual universe once we're out of the internet?

EDIT: I gave some thought to it and realized one of my above statements could be taken as me going back on what I said. I just want to clarify that it was never my intent to have Kalama come in and break the RP like that, what I meant by "could" was that he's capable of it. I'm only rarely gonna have him go into a world, but he will be more involved once we're in the rest of the Multiverse since being in the Void for too long proves unpleasant for him, even though he's fully capable of surviving in it for an extended period of time.
Look, guys, I can work with this. You forget that the main guide (Kalamadea) is an all-powerful dragon god, because you were just dealing with the real version. Due to the fact we're down to a single Multiverse now and part of our lore is no duplicates of ascended beings, avatar Kalama merged with real Kalama. Since lore's getting in the way, he could come in and obliterate that magical barrier for you no problem if it's an issue. Just make your choices, guys. I don't mind you bypassing some minor detail like that, as long as you remain responsible about it, which I trust you guys will.

Zero, here's that site I spoke of. It's using a heavily modified version of SMF, as you will likely recognize. The admin still has to get around to renaming my boards and doing the rearrangements I've requested that are outside of my power, so it's still in the old and busted format and you can likely see for yourself why I did away with most of the lore. I'm linking you straight to the board itself.

All right, first off Birth, being a counter for Phazon spread, seems a bit pointless now with Phazon nearly completely nonexistant. Dark Samus only manages to barely find enough to keep herself going, and there's no telling whether she's got a constant source or is having to scavenge throughout multiple worlds. If you want him back, I'll allow it, but I have to let you know he's a little pointless at this point.

Also, I need you to trim down your character count a bit. We only have a single group, so five or six characters constantly being played like you had before is a bit much. Two or three should do it. I've limited myself to Kalama, Samus, and real Dark Samus.
I'm afraid so. Much of the original lore was cut so we could get the RP to a state that people could actually know what was going on. Code wasn't the only thing we cut out if it helps any. We're not dealing with the Honeymold, for instance. It's also down to a single Multiverse, with the internet being a very extensive standalone universe. We'll be carefully managing new lore from now on so it doesn't end up bloated again.
Possibly to their surprise, the Hero of Time actually planted the sword in the ground and stepped back. With a smirk, the Hero crossed his arms over his chest, then said, "Have at it." At that point, they might suspect something was up, the Hero really shouldn't be parting with the sword so easily. If any of them tried to pull the sword from the ground, they'd quickly find out what that something was; the sword would not budge no matter how hard they tugged at it, at which point Link would say, "The sword has to choose you in order for you to be able to wield it." If they thought better of trying to take the sword, Link would pull it back out and say nothing before heading towards the village to the east.

Samus, however, was already moving by the time the Pawns were promoted. With a tap of a hand to her chest, energy radiated around her as she entered Hypermode, and a high-pitched screeching noise began to emanate from her suit as it was strained by the Phazon flowing through it. All she had to do was walk, with the rocks simply breaking on her suit as if they were nothing. When they reached the cliff to climb, she deactivated Hypermode and analyzed the handholds, finding they were, indeed, of a ferrous material. Without a word, she entered Morph Ball and used the spider ball upgrade to quickly scale the cliff. At the top, heat poured from the cave entrance they found, though a weak rock barrier covered another entrance, which led to a Great Fairy's fountain as Link would likely remember.
I agree, but I really don't want to risk losing more to flawed logic like that. Plus, as mentioned before, a board will be better for organization, and everyone's going to be involved in managing it and making sure things run smoothly, that we get the word out, all that good stuff. Plus, the site owner loves the idea of this thing being on her site.
I may go ahead with the move back to the board. I'm not quite finished with getting it set up right, but I should have it done by the time we finish Hyrule.
Damn, another one lost to downtime? This is really worrying me.
Your choice, Rokku, but know that as of now the whole Code thing is pretty obsolete due to the internet universe rebooting. The Crucible's also not as fragmented this time, so we'll be getting to the rest of the Multiverse much sooner.
