Well, there goes one thing that looked promising...

You are free to join up. Just PM me here with your username, as I've had to enact admin approval for registration to filter out bots. Email activation is working very strangely currently.

...Can I just stick with this one anyway? I'd rather RP with a smaller group, really...

The RP is split into several groups of four to six characters, eight at the very most for a single thread. You can also go to a private world with a couple of other characters. You're not limited to go where everyone else in a group is going. You can split off into a small group of your own, granted you give your avatar an ability to sense crucible pieces and move a group into that world.

You're also not limited to being restricted to a single group. We have several characters that move between several groups. In all honesty, you'll have more freedom and a lot less confusion by joining the main bulk of the RP.

As Raidne said, it's best to not have the RP split across sites. Plus, I'd rather see the site grow than have an RP open up here.
Excuse me? As one of the owners of the original RP, I'd really rather you join the actual RP instead of simply making one of your own. It's right here.

We're always welcoming new people, and I'd rather not see the RP taken without credit. Plus, you'll get a bigger group to RP with if you join the site.
Name: Laurie

Alias: Sage

Age: About 35

Power: Time Sense (not sure what else to call it)

Sage can see all possible futures, as well as all alternate pasts and presents. All of time is in her mind.

Weaknesses: She always sees all times simultaneously and is currently incapable of determining just which future will actually occur. As of right now, she has no control over her Time Sense, so she's constantly hit with everything at once.

How long at the Institute: About three years

Favorite subject: Quantum mechanics

Favorite teacher: Beast

Appearance:

BRIEF Bio: Laurie's time sense initially was not present. The gene was dormant until the age of 32. When the gene surfaced and she was hit with the full force of time, that's when Cerebro found her. Before the gene surfaced, her life was rather average and kind of dull. She spent time at Xavier's Academy learning more advanced subjects than most high schools teach as well as how to focus her time sense, but the sense was so powerful that, even with three years of rigorous training, little, if any, progress was made. It continually evaded all attempts at control and focusing it. And the attack on the mansion only served to reverse what little progress they had made. As such, due to the severity of her need, she was kept at the mansion, hiding out in the modified danger room with a select few others.

Notes: This is based on a Doctor Who OC I have, actually. She's based on a TARDIS.
Nice. Anyway, I'll get started on my sheet. I'll just do my own since I seem to be the only one doing an independent dragon.
Well, of course I'd like my dragon to travel with them, lol. Glad we could work something out. I'll just see if Bird's okay with it, and then get started on a sheet.

It is worth noting that I'm accustomed to Casual and Low-Advanced, so just be ready for some fleshy posts.
Finally! A subscription system! :D

You may play a riderless dragon, with the understanding that your character could not be directly associated with the quest. We're still working out our plot line, so this might change, but so far, the riders are supposed to be trainees that the king is sending out as a sort of last resort. Right now, I just don't think you'd stay interested if you played only a dragon.

I'm assuming that dragons are not capable of speech outside of thought here, much like in Inheritance? That's one difference between my character idea and that. He can speak verbally and would be quite old (in the tens of thousands), so he could possibly aid in the training? I can discuss it over PM if needed.
My post will be up soon. I'm gonna have Kalama be there when the signal was activated since he's been with the League for a while. Just assume the reason Brainiac didn't take him is because of his immunity to mind control. Actually, that's exactly why. I'm gonna say Brainiac attempted to seize control of Kalama but failed since Kalama's immune to mind control.
I'd be interested if I can play a riderless dragon.
I did some asking around and found out the average nature of trolls (I've not played much of the games, nor have I read any of the books, but I plan to). I'm gonna make them a monster race, but someone could bring in a troll that, unlike others, does travel. But since they don't really travel, I'm gonna make them a monster race. Keep in mind that monster race doesn't mean you can't make a character that's a troll. You can play any sentient monster in the game, but you'll have different reactions based on what sort of monster you're playing.

I have found a fifth race that can be a player race, though. Sorcerers would be a separate player race, since not every human can be a magic user. Since magic changes the person, it would be considered a separate race, just as Witchers are considered separate.
