Hazel gazed up at MA's huge Victorian building and took a deep breath. It's only the first day. Maybe I'll make some friends before class tomorrow. She thought hopefully. Hazel climbed the white marble staircase and dragged her 5 heavy bags up the staircase, and pushed the huge white doors that led into the building. Inside everybody was rushing all over the place and in the corner she saw a big machine that looked like it would sell coke. Confused, Hazel walked over and read the directions on the strange machine: TYPE YOUR NAME IN TO GET YOUR SCHEDULE. There was a screen on the machine that had a keyboard on it. Hazel carefully typed in her name and all of a sudden a paper shot out from the bottom on the machine. She picked it up and it read: Hazel, Grade 7, 13 years old, Counselor: Miss Riley
Ohhhh, it's my schedule. As Hazel read the schedule all of a sudden a tall girl with black hair pushed her aside and Hazel fell over. Hazel looked at the girl who clearly was trying not to laugh. "Oops, sorry!" Said the girl who clearly wasn't sorry at all. Annoyed, Hazel stood up and gathered her bags and marched to the elevator. She so did that on purpose! Hazel thought as she stepped in the elevator . . .

Personality: Aphrodite would be like the popular girl at your school but nice. She is sweet and kind but can be picky when it comes to people. Like in the Greek myth of Aphrodite, Zues makes Hepheastaus marry her because he was afraid of all the gods fighting over her (Aphrodite dosent like Hepheastatsus, she likes Ares). Aphrodite can be mean sometimes, but she is obsessed with fashion and beauty. Her favorite class at MOA is Beautyology. One of Aphrodite's best friends is Persephone btw (So whoever is Persephone will be her best friend I guess.

Backstory: Aphrodite was born from the ocean- the West Wind saw her rise out of the ocean and he blew her towards the land. Also she was born from sea foam. Anyway when she got to land 3 nymphs worshipped her and brought her to Mount Olympus. This will be Aphrodite's 2nd year at MOA

Welcome to Mount Olympus Academy! Where you can be a god or goddess or create one. All the students call Mount Olympus Academy, MOA for short. Students will have to send a form to get accepted (form rules below). At MOA you will take classes according to your characters powers\interest. The headmaster of the school Zues will deny or accept your request.

Name: Hazel Dettwyler

Ability/Magic: Water Powers and the ability to turn into a mermaid when water touches her and she can speak to ocean creatures (ex: dolphins)
Personality: Hazel is as innocent as a flower. She is the most kind and caring person you will ever meet. She treasures her fish Bubbles and is overprotective of him. She dosent like to talk about her back story very much though- it still gives her nightmares. That's why she tries to not have enemies but good friends. Hazel can also get very nervous around new boys and girls.
Appearance:
Backstory: Hazel's powers\magic was recognized when her mother (parents were divorced and her dad became a drunk also she is an only child) took her to the pool. When Hazel who was 3 at the time touched the water she immediately drowned. Then all of a sudden she raised up out of the water with a small mermaid tail. Her mother was was not surprised because Hazel's grandfather had powers as well. They both hoped that nobody saw Hazel transform. Hazel and her mother hid for years in Long Island near the beach so Hazel could practice but only at dawn when nobody was around. When Hazel was only 10 years old she was in the basement and heard screaming upstairs. Her drunk father had found them and murdered Hazel's mother in front of her. Hazel screamed and her father chased her into the ocean. Hazel dived under water hiding with sea creatures while her father drowned. Scared of humans she stayed with the sea creatures for 2 years. On her 12th birthday her sea friends urged her to go out into the world and that Hazel was welcome to visit them. Hazel left the ocean with a bag of some belongings of hers and her mothers and her sea friend Bubbles. When she found Magic Academy she was über excite to join. Hazel hopes to find friends and be accepted here.

Backstory: Amanda is from 1856 and was raised in an orphanage that was haunted. One ghost named Melody stole Amanda's soul and tried to overtake her body to live again. Her body is half of Amanda and half of Melody so she may seem a bit confusing at times. Amanda found this shop, Hell Helpers, and she is excited to work there
