The Academy

Amber just sat thought, as Lauren turned to the others. She thought about the Administration, and how they were better than her dad (giving her food and etc.) She overheard Lauren trying to comfort the others, but there was something fake about the way she talked. Again, Amber felt like she was hiding something, like that this place was a lot worse than what it was known to be. She shrugged off the idea and turned to the others, trying to be social for once.

What types of classes will we be attending?

Amber sensed that Lauren was hiding something, but decided to ignore it. "Eh, I don't know. I mean, it's better than home. But I don't know how I think about these administrative people... They sound harsh..." she replied, sipping her root beer.

The Academy

Amber's throat was getting really dry. She threw the cig on the ground and stepped on it to cease the flame. She then walked back into the cafeteria and treated herself to a glass of root beer.

"Well, if I'm stuck here, I should at least try to be social.." she said to herself walking back to the Halcyon table.

She decided to go talk to Lauren. "So uh how long have you been here? I mean, at The Academy." she asked, sipping her root beer.

"Ah okay. Anyways it was nice meeting you, Andrew." she said as she stood up and walked outside. She went around to the back exterior wall of the cafeteria and pulled out a cigarette and a lighter. She breathed in the smoke and looked up at the stars ((or sunset, I kinda lost track of time)).

"I'm Amber," she said once again. She looked down at her pizza, her appetite gone. "I'm gonna go out for a smoke, want to join me?"

"Uh what's your name?" she asked, taking a bite from her pizza. The pizza tasted like the cheap kind that you get from the store and heat up.

Amber walked to where the pizza was. She grabbed a piece and walked back over to the Halcyon table. She scanned the Halcyonites, her eyes went to the boy at the end of the table. "Hi," she said sitting across from him, "I'm Amber."

The Academy

She took the papers and read them over. She was actually glad that she wouldn't be going home. She hated that place anyways. Amber then thought about which faction she would be in.

"Well I'm definitely not a brute," she though to herself. "And I'm not very smart, nor a goodie-goodie..."

"I would like to join Halcyon." She said aloud, folding the brochure back to the way it was handed to her.

I've watched since the last season of Tennant :3I love it
