Hey, haven't had time to go through the CSes completely, but do y'all have need of a "demolitionist, hacker, repair woman, and inventor! If it's got wires, I can do it!" character?
Is this still open? Don't want to wade through 9 pages of OOC unless I can join :P
OOC: Collab with Zoombeh

Ravira glanced around at her new teammates as the crowd cheered for their induction into the academy. She’d only gotten a chance to talk to Schwarz, but the other two looked… pleasant enough. One moreso than the other, but no obstacle was too high for the power of friendship!

Or, so she hoped. But having him run away like that at every chance might not make it so easy. She frowned slightly until the one person who’d stuck around turned to her and addressed her. She smiled across at him, and, resting her staff against her chest to free her hand, she extended her hand for a shake. “Haha, don’t worry about him. I’m sure he’ll come around!” She paused for a moment, suddenly at a loss. What had Ozpin said his name was? K… K something? P something? Oh goodness, that just wouldn’t do.

“Heh, you seem to have me at a disadvantage,” she said, pulling her Scroll out after they shook hands. “You know my name, but I seem to have missed yours. What would you like me to call you?” She pulled up her map and glanced at the glowing objectives thereupon. Ah yes, they would have to get their things before going to the room.

Running a hand through his hair again, he nodded even if he didn’t share her optimism. It would be nice if Kuhaku did, and logically four years was more than enough time for him to do so, but Perry didn’t count on it happening anytime soon.

“Perry Symund. I don’t particularly mind how you address me. We should probably go grab our belongings,” he replied as he turned around and made to leave the auditorium behind. The Headmaster seemed to have finished announcing the teams and it wouldn’t be long until the other students made to get their belongings from the Main Hall. Hopefully the two of them would make it ahead of the main crowd.

Ravira fumbled around with her Scroll for a few moments, trying to figure out how she could hold it to see the map while also carrying her staff, but eventually shrug with a frustrated grunt. Without giving him fair warning, she tossed the tech at Perry and poked him with her weapon. “Lead the way, fearless leader! We must go acquire our things and then make our way to our new abode!”

Thanks to good reflexes, when something smacked into his back, Perry managed to turn round fast enough to make a fumble for the falling Scroll. He might have been successful too if it weren’t for the staff that got in his way. Wincing a bit as the Scroll clattered against the hard stone floor, he pinched the bridge of his nose before picking it up and inspecting it. There didn’t seem to be any real damage to it as he opened it back up, so he stored it away before turning back around. “Yes, let’s.”

Despite that little mishap, it didn’t look like the Main Hall would be congested. The other students seemed content to stay in the auditorium and socialize amongst their newly formed and announced teams.

Ravira tittered apologetically as Perry fumbled the toss. Good thing Scrolls were made for much worse situations than dropping a few feet. But she felt especially silly when he put it away without looking at it. Apparently he already knew the way to the acquisitions office, and didn’t need her to throw her Scroll at him in the first place. And now she’d have to ask for it back! But not yet; that whole scene had already been awkward enough, and it would be better to get it back when they could laugh about the whole thing. Later it would have to be.

The “Uniform Issue, Supply Warehouse, and Requisitions Office” was just off of the Main Hall, and they managed to spot it without trouble. There was a bit of a line (apparently because the old badger running the whole thing had to mutter some under-his-breath lecture about something or other before actually fulfilling his duties), but it certainly wasn’t too bad. At least it wasn’t long enough that Ravira felt the need to see if she could get access to streaming services on her Scroll, since it wasn’t like she had it at the moment.

They made it up to the man, and, after politely listening to his tirade and only rolling her eyes when his back was turned, Ravira gave over the slip enumerating the supplies that she would need. The fellow glanced down at it, glanced back up at her, squinted, and then hustled into the back. At least he was good at his job; he emerged within the minute with a heaping stack of supplies, setting them down before her and then looking expectantly at Perry.

Ravira pawed through the things: uniform (and some spares), check; plenty of low-quality dust, check; pencils, batteries, and other necessities; check. Armor? Check. She felt the chainmail between her fingers and then stood there oddly for a moment.

How was she going to get this to the room?

While he had been planning to head to the Main Hall to retrieve the things he’d actually brought with him to the school, it seemed that Ravira had a different idea. Shrugging his shoulders, he didn’t mind and diverted towards the Supply office. Unfortunately there was a line, something that Perry couldn’t help but sigh at even as he stepped in to take his place along with his team member.

He supplied the man at the counter with the paperwork and drummed his fingers on the counter as he was moved aside to wait for someone to round up the necessary pieces. Whoever was working behind must have cared a great deal more than the counter employee since it wasn’t but moments before a pile of belongings were laid out in front of him. Several sets of the uniform, some school supplies that he hadn’t thought of getting until he saw them on the list, some extra Dust to refill his supplies, and a pair of clothes to replace the one’s that’d been ruined during initiation. It wasn’t too hard to rearrange and wrap things up so he’d be able to carry them around, but turning he saw that Ravira did not seem to reach the same solution as he did.

“Huh. You want to watch over our things? I think I should have some extra room in the bags I brought to help you carry some stuff.” Thinking for a moment, he returned the Scroll back to her and mentioned, "If you point them out, I can grab your things at the same time."

“Oh, thank you! Sure I can watch the stuff.” Ravira accepted her scroll back, and smiled at his offer to grab her other things. “Oh, no, I didn’t bring anything with me. That’ll all be arriving later; no point in bringing stuff when I don’t have anywhere to put it yet!”

“I see.” With those remarkable words, he left for the Main Hall. Finding his bags amongst the hundreds of others proved somewhat challenging seeing as they’d been moved around, but he didn’t take more than a few minutes to locate the rather distinctive fabric used. Shuffling his things around so that one was left empty, he slung both over the shoulders afterwards and made his way back to where Ravira waited.

“Here,” he said, holding out the sizable travel bag for Ravira to take, “should be enough to hold your things.” Once she took it from him, he’d set to work cramming his own new belongings into the bag he kept for himself.

Ravira merely stood to the side for the few minutes that it took for her teammate to go grab his things. He was an interesting fellow, it seemed: polite, but not particularly friendly. It almost felt like she was imposing on him. He seemed to do everything with a sense of urgency that didn't seem quite proper for the situation, and it was kind of getting on her nerves. He made her feel slow and even more inadequate than she already was.

She put on a smile when he came back, though, stuffing her new things into the bag as quickly as possible so as to avoid ruining Perry's day any further. He'd undoubtedly want his bag back as soon as possible. Once she had everything in place, she awkwardly slipped the shoulder strap over her head and pulled back from the counter, letting the bag slip off and the weight to rest on her shoulder. She grabbed her staff and moved to follow Perry back to the room.

Ravira saw that door to their room was ajar when she reached their hallway, and she cautiously poked her head in, knocking on the doorframe with her staff to indicate their presence. "Hello, ladies!" She moved over to the bunk that the two of them were by, trying not to break into whatever conversation they were having. She knelt down until the bag was on the floor, and then slipped the strap back off and began removing the things.

It really wasn't her place, but after a moment, she turned to look at the two again. Schwarz didn't look like she was feeling well, and after a bit of hesitation, Ravira paused in her unpacking and spoke up. "Hey, you alright?"

Given he had received less supplies, it hadn't taken him as long as Ravira to pack up. Once it looked like she was ready, he bid the workers goodbye with a small wave before turning around and making his way out and to their team's room.

He stepped in after Ravira and made his way over to the only unclaimed bed after she'd chosen her own. Glancing at the two that had gotten here first, it didn't look like anything had really happened. Ravira seemed to be trying to start up conversation, so he left it at that and focused on setting up his living area for the moment.
Name: Ravira Tudios
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Appearance:
(Sorry, no image at this time; I haven’t had time to make one)
Ravira is very slightly taller than average, standing at 5’5” and already finished growing. She’s 120 pounds, but with a classic pear shape; she has skinny arms and a thin shoulders, average breasts, a high waist, and larger buttocks and thighs. Her fashion sense and armor tend to balance or hide her proportions, though, so she generally does a good job of avoiding rude comments about her shapeliness.
Ravira just started wearing full armor after the initiation. She wears plate breastplate, shoulder and leg guards, and greaves; all over an undersuit of chainmail. Only her hands and face are uncovered; her hands because she needs them free to attack, and her face because she puts down her armored hood and mask while not in combat.
Oh… and she’s only got one arm. Ravira recently lost her left upper appendage in an accident. She ties up the left sleeve of whatever she’s wearing so that it doesn’t flop about quiet so much.

Personality:
Ravira is a happy-go-lucky, slightly crazy, fun individual. She makes friends easily and does everything with them; she seems to dislike being alone, so she’ll often tag along with whomever happens to be doing the most fun thing for the next few hours.
Ravira is also very adamant in her beliefs. She’s like that one kid on campus who won’t stop telling you that you need to join the Church of Latter Day Saints, and she’s willing to argue with anyone at any time. It’s not because she dislikes you, it’s just that you’re wrong, and she simply must fix that!
But Ravira isn’t all fun and friendliness; if you want her to do something that she’s morally against, she’s not going to do it with you. If you stand in the way of doing what she thinks is right, she might just bowl you over. It’s possible that getting out of the way and nodding with fake enthusiasm might save you from her puny wrath at some point. Or, maybe you could just take it, and laugh at how much it tickles.

Weapons:
Ravira’s weapon is her magic; she can channel power wildly in a general direction and it might hurt someone if she manages to hit them enough.
But that’s not particularly helpful. So, she uses a staff to channel her magic. This focuses her attack into a laser-like accuracy, while also providing the added benefit of allowing her to combine it with the power of Dust. Depending upon which type of Dust she slots, her attacks are granted additional effects.
And she can whack things with her staff, but she’s not particularly good at the close combat thing.

Semblance:
Righteous Burst
Ravira channels, building up power. She can choose a target to unleash this power on, providing the target with a shield proportional to the amount of power she has gathered. Not all of the power goes into the shield; the excess energy bursts out from her target, knocking back enemies and shielding allies with a power and radius proportional to the cast’s power.

Strengths:
Ravira makes friends easily
Ravira has naturally high Aura, allowing her to tank extra damage and cast more spells than average
Ravira wears heavy armor, further protecting her from incoming damage
She has a lot of supportive ability
Ravira can deal a lot of damage if the enemy leaves her alone and she’s able to channel her magic attacks uninterrupted

Weaknesses:
Ravira is missing an arm. Simple things that others take for granted can be difficult tasks for her
Ravira has some antisocial tendancies that might make her quickly made allies wary of her
Ravira is extremely stubborn, and if she thinks that something is the right course of action, she will be very hard to sway from it. She would rather waste everyone’s time arguing about something or throwing a fit than to cave
Ravira has very low burst damage. All of her damage potential is over time, so she can’t really deal with someone who is attacking her directly
Ravira has to stop attacking to channel her semblance; this makes her an especially bad in solo combat
Ravira is not a decent close-combat fighter

Theme Song
Great Scott, Charak, please use a word processor. In this day and age there's no reason to have so little punctuation and so many oddly capitalized words.
Abby is certainly capable of wielding a weapon, I'm sure.
Scarifar, I'm online for the next 1.5 hours; hit me up on Skype if you want me to change something.

Edit: Nevermind; due to popular demand, I have removed my post.
"Right." Coral nodded as she caught the relic. Whether she was responding that she understood the weaknesses, or that she would have no trouble leacing Schwarz to her doom, was left to interpretation.

She dashed up to the big snake's head and activated her semblance, teleporting above it and falling lightly on its head. Her clone had at its eye, though not much was going to land from there, especially with the snake already dodging her partner's weird glowing lights. Coral held on, dodging the errant strikes as well, until she saw that Schwarz had actually managed to land something. The scales were fizzling away, leaving the delicious sight of slightly-cooked meat. Her wicked smile in place, she raised her claws and began silently tearing away. All that could be seen were chunks mysteriously tearing away from the snake's head as Coral dug through it.

Then a flash from the top of the ruins signaled Michelle's shot, and Coral felt a huge weight tear into her side, flinging her completely from her target. Her aura became blindingly visible as it tried to absorb the blow, eventually cracking and splitting as the round exploded and the shrapnel buried itself in Coral's flesh. Her clone fizzled out as a warning bell chimed from her and Schwarz's linked scrolls; the hit had been too much, and her Aura was at the warning threshold.

For a moment, she lay there in the dust, blinking to rearrange her world. Something had happened, but she couldn't quite figure out what it was. She reviewed her memory as quickly as she could piece it together, and painfully pushed herself up to a sitting position. She'd managed to get knocked far enough into the woods that the snakes hadn't seen her as she came out of stealth, so that was good; at least she wasn't in immediate danger.

She looked back at the battlefield. What had that been? There had been a flash of some sort; she looked in that direction. Oh... a sniper. She grit her teeth in fury and pain, and contrary to the flashing of her scroll, activated her semblance again.

She teleported up to the individual who was causing her so much pain, and ripped her weapon from her unexpecting hands, tossing it down into the ruins below. Michelle never got a chance to figure out what was going on; as soon as her weapon was tossed away, an invisible fist slammed into her face, sprawling her out on the rock. She could do nothing but cover her face and try to roll away from her attacker as Coral rained down blows. Coral's aura reserves were drained, so thankfully her knives still lay in the woods where they'd scattered upon her injury, but punching wasn't that different from stabbing, and she was good at it. One didn't spend a stint in a fight ring without learning how to dish out damage unarmed.

Coral deactivated her semblance, banishing her clone and making her horrid visage appear in a puff of inky smoke in front of Michelle. Black blood oozed from her side and her mouth, and her left arm lay uselessly at her side. She reared back her fist to launch another punch, but something clipped her, and for a moment she paused. It was all that Michelle needed to dodge away and pull out her pistols, opening fire at her assailant. Caught in the crossfire, Coral's last sparks of aura blocked what they could until she ran out completely, collapsing to the side and tumbling from the pillar to land in a bloodied mess on top of the rifle that she'd thrown down just moments before.
Not me, though! :D
As Uglyandstuckup turned away, Coral dropped her low, menacing pose. “I wouldn’t do anything rash. Behave!” she mimicked the other two in a high, annoying voice, rolling her eyes comically and flailing her hands and tentacles into some sort of expression of blonde disappointment. “Coral you’re being naaaaaughty you bad girl!”

She stopped midpose to smile at Schwarz. “I wonder if they’ve managed to find all of the pieces of the last person who told me to behave. You’re lucky I like you!” She reached up and ruffled Schwarz’ hair before starting to walk back into the forest.

“I agree with that guy, let’s get out-“ she started, eyes closed as she approached the forest. Then she heard some sort of commotion behind her, and something big rustled through the trees, and when she opened her eyes, she was staring into one eye of a huge snake. “Ooooooh, a snake, cool.” And then there were three other snakes? Well that just didn’t seem fair.

Schwarz ran up dutifully to give her backup, asking if she had any ideas and spitting fire into the eye that she’d been studying. The snake head reared away, and Coral put on her grumpy face. “Walk around them? Though I guess you probably made it angry with that move.” A chorus of hissing confirmed that, and with a sigh, Coral unlocked her weapons.

“Then I suggest we get to the stabbing part.” Her weapons rose from their slots, swiftly forming around her hands like large, disconnected, especially deadly claws. She grabbed two of them to use like normal daggers, and turned to face the closest enemy. “Do they have some sort of weakness? I normally just stomp on snakes.” No point attacking them if her damage would do nothing, after all; they looked well-armored, and it was likely that everyone here actually knew more about them, given that it was hard to know less than nothing.
